“3 years ago my wife and I toured the Challenger School Newark campus after touring other schools (Stratford and Basis). Compared to the other schools, we fell in love with the large, brightly lit, clean and organized rooms, and were impressed by the teachers and staff here. We sent our son for all 3 grades offered here: preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten. He just graduated and we’re so happy with the entire experience. What impressed me the most about the curriculum was the tremendous emphasis put on teaching phonics, phonetic rules, spelling, and other language arts, often through rhymes and songs to help with memorization and reinforcement.
