“We have been sending our son to Keen Learners Montessori for six months now and we see lot of improvement in him. He is always happy to go to school and looks forward to it. Even on a Saturday he asks to go to school. The teachers put in lot of effort planning activities for kids each month based on the season and theme. Our favorite was the Halloween parade and Winter Concert.”

“This review is for their infant classroom. We started sending our baby here end of Feb-2023, when she was only 5-months old. I had joined their waitlist almost 10-12 months before the desired start date but still due to the long waitlist, the spot wasn't guaranteed until the last minute. Miss Ida, the center director always wears a smile on her face and is very accommodating and reasonable. She has set a great culture at this Kindercare location. After 1-week of settling time, our baby actually found her second home. She could not crawl or even sit without support when she started here, which made me nervous initially, but their classroom has infant cushions to help support babies of this age so they can sit upright, play and look around with ease. Her assigned teacher was Miss Marcy and I can't praise her enough, now we have reached a point where our baby eats or can nap with her help more easily than us. She promptly attends to her every need, our custom requests, and sends us periodic updates and photos all throughout the day. Other teachers also take care of our baby in her absence. Miss Gurdeep has lots of energy to make the babies smile. Our baby is happy there from the time of drop off to pick up, she actually fusses at home more as she misses her classroom environment (so many toys, kids, teachers, and activities). We get many smiling photos of our baby from her classroom. Babies here get a safe environment to roll, crawl, explore different art and sensory activities, and most importantly learn to socialize and make friends at such an early age. They also did a Halloween parade in their playground recently where the infants also could participate. It gives us so much delight to see our munchkin getting all these exposures at such an early age. We are 200% sure now that our baby would not have had this kind of environment or happiness had she stayed home under any of our family members' care or any nanny's care. I must say there are phases where our baby falls sick and stays home, which disturbs us badly since being both working parents we have to manage work along with taking care of her but we keep hearing from doctors, the classroom teachers, and even other parents who sent their kids early on that this will help build their immunity and reduce frequencies gradually, and no matter what age they start in daycare or school, this phase is going to happen.I feel it may be better to start early on like 4-5 months of age, since stranger anxiety builds and gets stronger as babies approach 1-year of age and then the settling time for the baby can stretch to several weeks making parents more anxious seeing their crying babies. There aren't many daycares around here that take infants, so if you need one, join Kindercare's waitlist during pregnancy. In-home daycares can take last minute but most of them keep the infants, toddlers, and even 5-year olds in the same room which scares the hell out of me.So overall I highly recommend this place to any new parent, it gives a lot of value for the money we pay vs had we paid much more to a nanny keeping our baby at home.”

“Our kid is studying here and we are extremely happy with his progress. Some salient points:. The school gives personal attention to each kid and provides study/homework material matching his/her skills. My kid is learning well here without any pressure. And I would like to add that his knowledge is very advanced for his age. His teacher ensures he is interested in his studies and learning well even while she is meeting the educational needs of other students. . School takes care of wellbeing of their children. When our kid was bullied by another kid, school took immediate notice of it and acted on it even before we raised it to them.. My kid loves going to school for the overall welcoming atmosphere. . The extended care program has helped my kid gel well with older kids. I also see that it has improved his personal and communication skills by playing/interacting with them. So he is with his age peers during the school time and with older kids at extended care.. The school's parent bodies are a pleasant group to contribute our ideas/time with no pressure. And the school events held from time to time are fun filled. . Children are barred from using offensive words.I strongly recommend this school. And the most important thing is it is less than half the fees of other private schools like Stratford or Fremont Christian school. Do not be carried away by the school grounds or old buildings. Instead meet the teachers and then decide for yourself. I am really glad my kid is studying here.”

“(Current parent leaves a message) LEP is a Chinese-English bilingual Montessori school. It runs the school based on Montessori concepts. It uses Montessori teaching aids to build children's cognition in all aspects, especially helpful for understanding abstract mathematics/scientific concepts. In addition, Montessori education also focuses on cultivating children’s curiosity, independence and expression skills. The principal has been engaged in early childhood education in different countries for many years and has been exposed to a variety of teaching models. He has rich experience and understands how to use the advantages of different teaching schools to help children grow. Moreover, the principal is very willing to listen to and accept parents' suggestions, and will make rolling adjustments to parents' requirements at any time. It is also very humane to keep pace with the times. My thoughts after my son has been studying for more than three monthsMontessori education advocates limited freedom and introduces moderate social norms, which makes a son who is cautious by nature more secure. At the same time, it cultivates his concentration and observation skills. He can play with toys or explore things on his own for a long time. The part that surprised me the most was the puzzles. Because I explored the teaching aids every day, my image and spatial cognition improved significantly. Within three months, the number of puzzles I could complete on my own increased from 6 to 40 pieces. And the daily circle time in Chinese and English makes his English songs, Chinese songs and poems catchy. The ability to interact with others has gradually matured, and communication with others is no longer timid and shy. Many daily activities, such as eating, dressing, going to the toilet, etc., can be completed by oneself. I am very happy that he has good interactions with teachers and classmates, and can learn knowledge, moral character, and social skills from play and life. He looks forward to going to school every day.Parents at the school have a very active relationship. They discuss school affairs or share interesting and delicious places. They meet every Thursday after school to walk their children together in the park. Potlucks are held regularly, and everyone is invited to their children’s birthday parties. Enthusiastic parents will also write newsletters to introduce their children and their families, and everyone is familiar with each other.”

“I am so thankful to Hearts and Hands for taking such good care of my son. He just started kindergarten and moved out of Hearts and Hands after spending 3 years there. I saw him grow from a shy young baby to a confident 5 year old. I am grateful to the teachers over there, especially Ms. Hazel who nurtured him with so much love and patience. She is such a warm person and is so passionate about teaching. My son learnt so much in his preschool class with Ms Hazel. He loved being there and we were never worried about him as we knew he was in good hands. We miss the school very much and will always be grateful for all the love and the care my son got there.”

“My daughter attends this pre school and she loves it. Every morning she looks forward to going to school that speaks of the care she is given. At 3 years I don't expect Academics rather a place where she can learn basic hygiene and healthy habits. I am proud to say that my daughter has learnt those here. And this session she is learning phonics, planets and surroundings and what not! That's an added bonus for me!”

“This review has been pending for quite some time. Previously, my son attended Learn and Play, and now, my daughter is enrolled as well.Reflecting on our journey from the outset, the initial concerns shared by my spouse and me, like any parents, were natural. However, the steadfast support we received from Ms. Rania, Ms. Sylvia, Ms. Edith, Ms. Ana and Ms. Lupe quickly allayed our worries. They consistently kept us informed about our children's daily activities, assuring us not only of their academic progress but also of their emotional well-being. This initial positive impression has endured over time. Ms. Rania, in particular, consistently ensures a smooth transition for our kids between classrooms, providing ample time for mental preparation and ensuring their adjustment is seamless.Expressing gratitude towards the teaching staff, we are indebted to Ms. Vandana, Ms. Sri, Ms. Pratibha, Ms. Kavya, Ms. Seema, Ms. Ruki, and others who facilitated our older child's swift adaptation and completion of activities within tight deadlines. As he progresses to elementary school, the solid foundation laid by the LAPMS teachers is visibly contributing to his ongoing success.Turning attention to the educators of our younger one, heartfelt thanks go to Ms. Saundarya, Ms. Sri, Ms. Alma, Ms. Nate, Ms. Geena, Ms. Raji, Ms. Marya, Ms. Nabila, Ms. Janet, Ms. Alice, Ms. Prab, Ms. Moni, Ms. Ruth, Ms. Sylvia and the rest. They consistently guide the children, ensuring not only academic proficiency but also nurturing their extracurricular interests. The teachers encourage autonomy, allowing the children to explore areas of personal interest and facilitating their growth. The stories and insights my children share reflect the positive impact of these educators on their young minds. The school's commitment to extracurricular activities is commendable, with various events like Halloween celebrations, Thanksgiving performances, and winter concerts held at intervals. These events provide invaluable opportunities for both younger and older students to showcase their talents before an audience from an early age.In attempting to encapsulate our experience, words seem insufficient. Our time with Learn and Play has undeniably been transformative. Our gratitude extends to Ms. Rania, who consistently exhibits kindness, patience, and approachability. Her leadership, coupled with the dedication of the entire teaching team, creates an environment where children flourish. The collaboration between Ms. Rania and the teachers truly exemplifies the best in teamwork.”

“We are so grateful to Nature's Gift and everything they have done for my son. He flourished here. When he started, he was not really speaking fluently and had never played with other kids. Everyone there are so kind and caring, I cannot recommend them enough. I was really worried about how he would adjust to school but everyone there really helped him adapt at a pace that worked for him too. His language exploded too! Every day, my son raves about what he's done at school. This was my first choice preschool when I was searching, and it still is. I can't wait for my second child to be old enough to join the Nature's Gift Family.”

“We have been sending our daughter for the last one year now . When we started at 1 year , we were actually doubtful if she will adjust to the school based daycare . But the school director Shruthi and the teachers made sure she was comfortable and kept sending a lot of updates and photos on the brightwheel app. Shruthi is extremely responsive. They also send monthly newsletters which gives us parents an idea of what they plan for kids in the entire month. Very clean. Highly recommend the place.”

“My son started attending the toddler program at Sparkle Montessori when he turned 18 months old. He had a lot of changes in his life before then, including moving in and out of different homes, dealing with jet lag, and learning a new language. So it's understandable that he didn't want to go to school and cried a lot entering the school for the first two weeks. However, he quickly adjusted and started to love going to school. He learned how to communicate with his friends and teacher in English, and he even started singing rhymes at home that he learned from his teacher. Even though he doesn't speak in full sentences yet, he tells me about what he does at school and talks a lot about his friends and teachers. He loves to see his class photo.I would like to have more interaction with my son's teacher and more updates on his daily activities. I know that some daycares and toddler programs use communication apps like Tadpoles or WhatsApp to share photos and information with parents. However, Sparkle Montessori only provides a daily report that lists how much my son ate, how many diaper changes he had, and what to bring the next day. They also post photos of the kids on their Facebook page once a week, but they're mostly just one, or two, photo of each kid doing their crafts. I believe that the upper classes have more updates on Facebook.Despite this, my husband and I are quite satisfied with Sparkle Montessori. The director is easy to talk to and responds to emails quickly. We get calls whenever my son has a little injury. The staff at the front gate are always friendly, and I believe the teachers are caring. They provide healthy lunch and snacks, according to a menu that the director sends out at the beginning of each month. We haven't seen any photos of what the kids actually eat, but I think my son is eating well because he's been gaining weight appropriately.Overall, we think Sparkle Montessori was the best choice for our son, given the options available to us at the time. We were a little rushed to enroll him at 18 months, the youngest age of the toddler program, but we're glad we made the decision.”

“My son has been going since he was 2 months shy of 2 years old. He's a "stranger danger" type of kid. But when we walked into crystal for paperwork and took him to see how he'll be, we were shocked. To our pleasant surprise, he began playing with Miss Cynthia within a couple of minutes. Since day 1, he never cried to go to school. He's almost 4 now and still looks forward to playing at school.”

“My daughter started in September with pretty much zero English and a very very strong attachment to parents. It would have been hard for her even if she did speak English, but without the skills to make friends or express herself or understand what's going on she was having a very hard time. We are pretty sure given the situation Keen Learners on Alder was the best choice for her as a first English-speaking school for several reasons:1. all four teacher in Room 2 are so kind and caring. They are so sweet and patient, so understanding and genuinely caring - they made a world of difference for my daughter and she quickly started actually enjoying school. I firmly believe that loving and kind teachers are the #1 factor in choosing a preschool for a young child, and we found the one. 2. their approach to academics is very strong and effective. From Sept to April, they managed to bring my daughter to the level of the rest of the group, without having to treat her differently or without slowing down other kids. This is amazing progress considering: she started with zero English, zero reading, zero writing; she is 5 and was with the kids who were already learning to read and write; she only went full time starting January, and until then she went twice a week. In April she reads, writes and talks in English. She is fully prepared to the next stepS The results are outstanding, kudos to the school staff!3. The school has multiple concerts and celebrations of American holidays and holidays from other cultures. It's just so fun there! There is always something going on. They organize very cute and well prepared mini concerts for parents, they actually give small goodie bags to the kids and treat them to special meals for the holidays. They had Santa come for Christmas, they had a science fair where they helped the kids present and do such a good job. 4. the director Ms. Madhu is very involved in the process and daily life. She is very informed about each kid's progress even though she is not one of the teachers. You can stop her on any day and she will tell you exactly how your child is doing, what they said today and how their progress is. It's very reassuring. The school is in a smaller building but it's light, bright and colorful inside. The playground is very nice too, much much nicer than some schools I have seen. Highly recommend! We will miss the school. Special thanks to Ms. Faiza, Ms. Megha, Ms. Pooja and Ms. Priya.”

“Our daughter attended Genius Kids at Mowry from age 9 months to 18 months. We would have sent her sooner but she was on waiting list for about 2 months. This was her first daycare. She was well cared for and happy there. She ate and napped well there and did lot of art projects. I found everyone there very affectionate, professional and thorough at their job. They were kind and patient in helping her settle there; be it at the start or while transitioning from part time to full time or when returning from long vacation or sick leaves, and specially during morning drop-offs which were usually hard. They responded to our queries over emails and brightwheel messages promptly. They were transparent with regards to her care and classroom safety and kept us informed. Our daughter once had an incident where she tripped due to an ill fitted sock and hurt herself a little. Her teacher took care of her, applied ice, shared pictures and also a detailed report of the incident. We are moving her to a daycare which is closer to home. GK played an important part in our daughter's growth and we will miss it. Highly recommend!”

“Both of our girls grew up here. Not a chain. Not corporate. Not an impersonal mini-prison. The teachers here are an extension of your family. It's a loving, caring atmosphere. The only issue is that you may find your kids overly-excited to leave you. Highly recommend.”

“I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Mrs Mei last year October, when everyone seemed to have registered their kids somewhere.I like that Mission San Jose Children’s Center is in line with Montessori method of teaching. And I especially love that Mrs Mei is such a loving and caring teacher! There were kids eagerly waiting in line to enter the classroom on the first day I dropped off my son. None of the kids were crying nor having a hard time saying goodbye to parents. That is how I know for sure this is the right place to go!And thank you Mrs Mei for all your holiday gifts. We love the sunglasses and candies.I highly recommend this place!”

“Our 2 children had the privilege of attending ABC Magic Moments and we are truly and happier and healthier family after our time there. The teachers at ABC whole-heartedly care about the kids, their social-emotional growth, their overall wellbeing. Maroof, the Director, pours her heart into the children and their families. We learned so much about our own children during our time there, and Maroof was there to guide us with words of wisdom or a new perspective on the journey of childhood. During the COVID surges, we felt safe sending our kids there because of their meticulous procedures and protocols to keep the school, teachers and children safe. I truly wish Maroof offered a school program into elementary school (and even beyond!) because the kids thrive in the environment ABC fosters. This was like a second home for our kids, who always were excited to go to school. They would come home singing new songs, teaching us new yoga poses, and sharing how to take deep breaths if we're frustrated. Of course my kids learned how to write their name and their ABCs, but I personally cared more about their creative spark and their love for learning. ABC will nurture your child, meet him/her where they are in the spectrum of development, and give them the strongest foundation during these important young years.”

“This is a long pending review for the teachers at Stratford. My son has been with Stratford for almost couple years now and we could not be happier. He starts his day with greeting Ms. Parul, Ms.Fong and sometimes, Mr.K who are extremely warm and loving. Could not ask for a better start of the day. Ms. Parul has also been very diligent in answering any admin questions. His teachers in preschool were Ms. Deidre and Ms. Eka, and my kid still makes it a point to drop by after his pre-K class to meet them. This is the kind of close bond they share with their students. His current teachers, Ms. Sonia and Ms. Lei, are wonderful and I can't believe my shy kid has opened up so much with them. They have been on top of academics and extra curricular activities, and my son really looks forward to going to his class everyday. I love how Stratford is helping the all round development of the kids. Ms. Kate is their music teacher, and she has worked really hard to help the kids develop a love for music. Ms. Paola has gone the extra mile to make Spanish fun for the kids, and my kid can not stop talking about her. The teachers put in a lot of effort to train and guide the kids for some amazing performances during winter and spring.A very special and huge shoutout to Ms. Anita, who has left no stone unturned to present Science to the kids in the most practical and fun ways. My son says that the Science period is the best time of the day for him. It is heartwarming to see him come home and try and teach us the experiments Ms. Anita teaches the kids at school. It takes a lot of effort to teach complex concepts to 5 year old kids in such simple and exciting ways. I wish every school had a Science teacher like Ms. Anita.Ms. Jessie has always been approachable and available to answer any questions and clarify any doubts. The kids are super fond of her as well and she conducts some of the best story sessions.Ms.T, Ms. Simi, Ms. Sanchari, Ms. Bobby are also in the list of kids' favs.Overall, we love how Stratford has provided a nurturing environment for our kid, and has helped him grow both academically and socially. My kid loves all his teachers and friends, and we are very confident that our kid is in great hands.”

“Our son had a very good pre-school experience at Olive Children Preschool. Ms. Sheela is very caring, loving and attending. Every day when we pick up our son, she always have some interesting story about him to share with us and we have a good laugh together. The school have different creative activities everyday. Our son always brings home some interesting hand crafted projects. E.g. a doll made from a piece of cloth, a 3-D safari made from paper and stickers, painted leaves etc.The school offers hot lunch that is cooked and distributed by their central kitchen everyday. The food is well balanced among vegetable, carb, protein and fruit. The teachers are also very experienced with dealing with age specific development challenges. Our son attended the school when he was 2 year 4 months old without potty training. After we indicated to the teachers that we'd like to start potty training, the teachers were very cooperative and they brought him to potty every 1 hour. Their help accelerated our son's potty training as he was able to go diaper free without accidents during the day in 2 weeks, and in 4 weeks he was able to go diaper free at night as well. The progress greatly exceeded our expectation.”

“We have come to love this school for our three-year-old. It's the best after exploring many options in the Fremont area. Two people make it so: the teachers, Ms K (Kaushika) and Ms V (Vaishnavi). “We enrolled our son here when he was 4.5months and now he is 17months. He was in the Lenido class (Ms Karima and Ms Grace) and graduated to the Willow class (Ms Badria and Ms Ariana) a couple months ago. Our family has enjoyed the company of the teachers at Lenido and Willow classrooms and we are very grateful for the learning & development our son has had in his formative years as an infant at MCC. Ms Karima & Ms Grace are definitely a godsend especially when parents have to leave their little ones and return back earlier than they wish to work.
