Rude cashier. Yelling at customer over car wash that doesn’t work. He tried keeping her change and was not letting up until the daughter got involved. Shameful.

It is a station that makes one feel unfortunate. The equipments are dirty. It doesn’t accept credit card and one most likely has to visit a cashier to complete a top up. However, the owner doesn’t think the facilities could be improved and customers have no choice but to adapt to it. I really hope it could be electrified someday to approach the future.

this mini store Circle K is next to a mini car wash. it's behind a 4 lane Shell gas station. the store is very small. coffee station wasn't labeled open or closed. only one blend available. no booze here. the usual snacks, drinks. brew: 100% Colombian (m. 1.89) Arcadia branded ? Coffee -tasted flat, not harsh. poorer quality than what is available at Circle K. -3 other blends were unavailable. clerk was friendly, helpful....

I pumped gas to return a truck I rented at Home Depot after my move. I drove up looking like I had just moved and rolled around a dust bin, with a crying baby in the truck and me stressed out since I was about 5 minutes away from missing my return deadline. I was relieved that there wasn't a wait at the pump and the pump was easy to use and quick. I returned the truck to Home Depot in the same parking lot that shell is located. I walked back to Shell to wait for my ride since everything else was closed in that shopping center. I had a stroller, diaper bag, purse, huge water bottle and everything that looked like I wouldn't be a customer. I walked in and Immediately the attendant looked at me and just stared. When I couldn't bare the awkwardness I asked him if I could wait for my ride inside with my baby. His answer was to tell me to move out of the way, so I did. I felt the need to tell him I had just purchased a tank of gas and I was a customer. To which he said nothing and waved his had at me as to shoo me away. Just moments later he said the store was closed and I had to leave. I asked him if he was really about to kick me out in the cold with my baby. He told me to leave 3 times, but My baby was sick and my friend was two blocks away AND he literally just said I could wait inside. While I'm talking he point to the ceiling signaling there are video cameras (omg...I was really trying to contain myself) Meanwhile, a customer walks in and makes a purchase. I asked him why he was still taking customers if he was closed (Rolling my eyes) FINALLY my ride arrived. I thanked him and I walked out. I do not understand why, but he literally walked out behind me and asked if there was still a problem. I quite literally lost my s**** *Excuse my language*. I told him I was a paying customer and he needed to leave me alone. He mocked me and continued to make comments to me and my friend. Shell and CircleK need to do a better job training their staff. This attendant blatantly discriminated against me not knowing I had just been a customer. But why do I need to be a customer to be treated decently. He could have kindly said I'm sorry ma'am we are closed and that would have been it. Instead I experienced the worst 8 minutes of my day and had had a long hard day. This behavior breaks my heart. What is this world come to? He wouldn't tell me his name, so I snapped a photo. This staff person can use some support around his biases and customer service.
