“The park was easy to find. It is located just east of the little settlement of Newberry Springs on I 40 There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate and easily seen from I40. We arrived after hours thus check in was completed by telephone.. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are gravel and in good condition.
Our site, 17, was a pull thru that was not quite long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30é50 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is a little close for a rural park. There is a small tree between sites but not considered a vegetation privacy barrier. There were NO tables or fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was pleasant to look at. There are two spring fed ponds and a small swimming pool. There is some highway noise from I 40 but expected given its proximity. It was quite suitable for an overnighter.
We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. We arenèt aware if there is any park included wifi or cable TV.
There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $49.49 (inc tax) per night and we feel it is a little overpriced. We would be back if in the area again.”
