They were very accommodating and friendly. We had a large pull-thru spot that was easily accessible and level. The park was nice and clean. Only negative is the highway being so close, it's hard to drown out the sound of traffic... But perfect for a night or two!

This is by far the cheapest place to fill a propane tank until Barstow. I think it's actually cheaper here than it is in Barstow as well.

Loved this RV site. We were passing through and needed a one night spot.Came in after hours, grabbed the checkin envelope on the door, and picked a spot.Loved the ponds and ducks. Clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again.

Minutes of the freeway, large level spots, Newberry Mountain RV Park is a great stay overnightThe camp manager was pleasant and friendly, the spot we had, #14, was relatively level and Huge. It was a pull through and super wideIt could use some work, upgrading, a little paint, some new grills in the group party area and it could use a few dog poop trash and bag stations. And ducks…they are cool to look at but messy. There is road noise off the I40, but that’s a trade off for the convenience of being close to the freewayIt is overall, very clean, and hookups were a breeze.

This is a sweet oasis. The park is very clean and the people are very sweet and friendly. Full hookups; clean bathrooms that were very nice and well stocked. ?????We stayed longer than we intended because it was so relaxing. We were there for Halloween, and they set up a trick or treat for some kiddos staying there. Very thoughtful. We are now rested and heading on our way, but Newberry Mountain RV Park is definitely a destination for us. Oh. The ducks. ???❤️❤️❤️

Great place to stay! Very accommodating for a last minute reservation! Very friendly and welcoming! Manager stayed up to greet us at 10:30pm, take our payment and ensure that we had all the details of the campground and clear directions! Would definitely stay again!

Good place to stop on route 66. The host is very helpful and responsive. There's a pond where you can fish if you like. Highly recommend!

I was leery when we first pulled in. This really is in the middle of nowhere. Route 66 is just too fun to drive, and we found this place. It has two stocked ponds - we caught a catfish! (Catch and release) The swimming pool was perfect. Bathroom and shower clean. I did not use laundry here. Great for an overnight stay, maybe even longer - but bring food and entertainment!

This R V Park is a gem. It is not a destination unless you are a rock hound, but if you are travelling and need a place to stay for a night. Like the old saying goes, it isn't in the "middle of nowhere, but you can see it from here." It is about 30 miles East of Barstow just off I-40. The owners are always very friendly, the grounds are immaculate. Two beautiful lakes. They have pull throughs, 50 amp service and depending on how your rig is set up they will put you in a spot that is easy to get out of the next morning. We travel to the Great Northwest every summer from outside Phx Az. It is the perfect place to spend the night. We have been stopping there for several years. Never disapointed. They also have weekly and monthly rates

Had a great time was told to come back then when I called to make a reservation was told NO, that my small dog and I had been too noisy previously which I find hard to believe considering that we were gone during the day and my dog only barked one time when a large dog off of it's leash ran up on her . I am going to have to recommend not staying there. There are other more hospitable campgounds
