Stopped by to look for a lipstick shade I have been looking for but it was sold out! I asked the woman working there for help and she was friendly! Store is nice and neat. All sales clearly labeled. Not busy at all.

They're continually out of some of my medicines and one of the pharmacists I spoke to was very rude, on 2 separate occasions, on the phone. Anywhere else but this place is a better choice.

I just wasted time trying to contact this store. I'll spare the little details. Suffice it to say after three phone calls I gave up and am heading to Walgreens. Initially I waited on the music hold 15 minutes after the recording said it would connect me to the pharmacy. Someone picked up and I asked my pharmacy question and the uninterested young woman said I'll transfer you to the pharmacy, click! Back on music hold for the pharmacy. Ten minutes later someone picks up AND hangs up!! Yep! I call back a third time (yes I'm persistent) and this time instead of clicking the pharmacy option I click the front store option to see if I can get anywhere. (I'm smart like that) ha! The phone is answered quickly with the young man saying, "Thank you for calling CVS, please hold." Boom! Music hold! This time I hang up because though I may be persistent I am not stupid enough to go for four! Walgreens answered and I'm on my way there.

This Cvs apparently has consistent staffing issues where they need to close early and fails to update their yelp page or online schedule with actual hours. It's 5:07pm and even though it states on yelp that they are open till 10pm AND was told by by staff at the other store down the road they were open till 10pm, they are closing at 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, sometimes even earlier on Saturday. Guy was at the door and said sorry we close at 5 and I told him his online hours needed to be updated and he just pointed to the make shift sign they modified by the door. I pleaded that I just need to buy one item (it was not in stock at the other store) and pointed to it. He even still had several customers inside and some still walking out and wouldn't even let me purchase ONE item that was literally right by the door and would of only taken 2 minutes max. Terrible customer service, seems like their manager just doesn't want to work late on weekends and they need to update their hours online. He said they've been operating like this the past 5 months so no excuse to not update the hours here. This store is losing CVS money (or maybe not because they choose to not staff it intentionally?) and explains why they have a subpar rating compared to the others around here.

I especially like the CVS Pharmacy in Newbury Park - they are efficient yet patient, working with all sorts of people concerns. I have received prescriptions and all of my recent vaccines here... even beyond that of COVID. In essence, this is my go-to place for medication and over the counter 'fix/it'. Thank You!!

I'm impressed with the pharmacist here. My urgent care doctor prescribed something not stocked by any local CVS. She promptly called my doctor and had the script changed. I really appreciate their taking time out of their busy schedule to do this.

Says they're open until 10, im here at 7:45 and its shut down. No notice or anything. They didnt even close right, half the lights are still on.

The younger of the two cashiers at the pharmacy is HORRIBLE; cold, could not care less, mean. She does NOT possess people skills, nor does she care. I would use a very distasteful word to describe, but I'll spare ya. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. She should world in an office cubicle with a computer. However, the pharmacist (a male) was SO helpful! And, the other older (older than the young chunky one with dirty-blonde hair) was respectful.

I just moved to the area and when trying to fill a prescription I was told that the medication can't be given to me because they are saving it for their "regular" clients for when they decide to fill it. Horrible customer service and when did "savies" become a thing to fill medication. I would of been a regular client since I've been a cvs client for years.

This review is not about the store personnel, who are terrific. This reflects on the pharmacy staff, who is so sadly unhelpful and unprofessional. This has gone on for years and our family (and anyone we know) have moved onto different pharmacies. However, today we made the mistake of trying to have our daughter vaccinated for COVID, with an appointment. We were confronted by a rude and unprofessional woman with a no can do attitude that was so outrageous it made us draw the conclusion she was intentionally trying to thwart our attempts of vaccinating our daughter for some warped personal or political reason. In the end, our daughter was so uncomfortable by the CVS pharmacist being rude to her mother that we decided to go elsewhere. Absolutely shameful in such a nice and tight nit community.

I wanted to exchange my hair dye for the correct color. They refused to exchange my product that I ordered online and insisted that I bring in the printed receipt that was in the box. They would not a accept the online order receipt (email) with return barcode I presented. According to the return and exchange policy online, this should have been accepted. I find this unacceptable and once again poor customer service.

I'd like to take a moment to thank Brandon in the Pharmacy. He was most welcoming and helpful. I had never been to a CVS and he treated me so well even though I probably was not so easy. I left the first encounter altogether. And still, Brandon handled the situation courteously. So I came back. Thank you Brandon. You are a beautiful person. I hope your boss notices that you are on the front lines every day as a Warrior.

I get my prescriptions filled here, and have very rarely had a problem. Brandon usually helps me as my pharmacist, and he is always very kind, helpful, and willing to answer my dumb questions about insurance. My only complaint is they often don't have the medication I get, and I end up having to wait sometimes up to a week to get it. This medication is not rare, one of the most common ones taken in the USA, so I find that a little weird, especially because I called the branch a little over a mile away and they had it in stock. Because of this, I now have to go to two CVS' to get different medications, which is kind of a hassle. The staff at the front has always been super helpful and always give me a cheery "Hello" on the way in and a "Have a nice day" on the way out.

The only flavor of la croix they carry is plain. PLAIN! I didn't even know there was a plain la croix. The hell.
