“This is not a review for Macy's but an employee. I shop at Macy's all the time. The quality' of service is usually below average but today was different! I went in looking for a suit for my husband. I was kinda in hurry bc I had my 2 toddlers with me. I ran into Mike T. and he was breath of fresh air. He helped pick the right brand and made sure to find his size in the suit coat as they only had 1 in the store. If only everyone was as wonderful and helpful as him. He should be teaching others in the store about customer service and he deserves a raise. Thank you Mike for you time and patience”

“I've visited this new store several times now, and it's clean, spacious and well-organized. The selection of boots is pretty amazing and about what you might expect from a store called: "Boot Barn." They also have a large inventory of both men and women's clothes, including jeans, shirts, jackets, belts, hats and a decent variety of work clothes. Despite the western theme, they also have work, hiking and casual boots, although they don't carry premier brands of hiking boots, like you'll find at REI. But for the casual hiker, they will definitely have what you need. One nice thing about the store is the central seating area, replete with a comfortable sofa and coffee table. It's nice for relatives and loved ones who go shopping with you, who probably don't want to tag along in the aisles. This store is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your best friend along too. However this store isn't perfect and it falls short in some ways. While there are some incredibly helpful, outgoing and courteous associates, such as Stacey and Sarah, many of the other associates appear to be disengaged, less-focused and even a little rude. I caught one middle manager scolding an employee in front of a customer, and another young female associate rolled her eyes behind a staff member's back. A lot of the staff are very young, and they may not have great people skills or maturity yet. Some good customer service training might be in-order for some of the younger employees. Also while temperature is often a subjective thing, this store is uncomfortably warm, during this Summer. Either the air conditioning isn't working properly or management has decided to save a few dollars at the expense of their customers. Walking around a big store while it's warm is no fun. Their selection of products is pretty good, but it's obvious that the store heavily promotes and stocks some brands, such as Wrangler over other brands, such as Levis. This is probably a corporate decision, which is out of their control, but it's nice for customers to easily see and shop for their own preferred brands. I can definitely recommend this Boot Barn location, and with a few simple improvements, it could easily earn 5 stars...”

“I went for the first time and a bought a pair of jeans. Unfortunately when I got home I realized the zipper had broken. I was super bummed because they looked so good. I brought them back the next day. I got there ten minutes before they closed, but James was super helpful and fixed the zipper on the spot. “Ahhh The Old Navy... The place my wife ensures our credit card still functions at least once a quarter. =) But hey, The way our kids look in their adorable clothes, I'm definitely a-o.k. with it! Going back in time... I remember when I was a youth and the Old Navy first showed up on the scene. I remember getting a NYC hoodie that I always loved to wear. They were always known for having the latest fashion trends, licensed products and good denim. Years later, although my sense of fashion and style have drastically improved, I still find myself finding something I like from here when we stop by for the kids or my wife. And without fail, most of our family photo shoots that we have done over the years, my wife usually will get me a button up shirt from here to match whatever her and the kids are wearing. The Janss Mall Old Navy Location has been in 1000 Oaks for years and seems to be doing o.k. Of course with the online shopping that most businesses have incorporated have seemed to put a dent in the performance of the Brick and Mortar stores globally. Despite the size of this location, they seem to keep it fairly in order and organized. Staff are friendly and willing to help if needed, but It does appear they need a little more staffing. All in All, the kids clothes is where its at! Barbie, Bluey, Spiderman, Sonic the Hedgehog, Fun prints, cool designs, and empowering messages that will make your kid look sharp, feel beautiful and stand confident; The Old Navy's selection continues to stay on trend. If you're a Ventura County local, come out and support your local Old Navy location.”
“Today, December 6,2023 I received by mail, three blazers that your store sent out for free alterations. In November 2023, I purchased online, using the J.Crew credit card, a red Italian wool blazer, size 14, because they do not have this item in the Thousand Oaks store in any size. The sleeves were too long. Esteve measured and pinned the correct sleeve length, with my approval, and the blazer was sent to their Century City store for free alterations. In September 2021, I had also purchased online, two Italian wool blazers in navy and black, size 14. At that time, due to the pandemic, they would not shorten the sleeves. I had never worn the two garments, and the tags were still on. Esteve also measured the correct sleeve length, and made sure that the sleeves of both garments would be shortened. I greatly appreciate what Esteve and J.Crew did for me. Their customer service is outstanding. I am thrilled! Thank you so much..The largest size that the store has is size 12, while the average woman is a size 14. Also the store does not carry these Italian wool items. Your size 14 navy and black blazers run very small in the waist.Carole Chapman”

They need more space to show case because being connected to the mall but outside has them tucked away in my opinion of being a frequent Zumies consumer.
