“They gave me an initial estimate for the cost of the job. An hour later, they come and said, “All done, you’re good to go.” The repair was so minor, they did it for the cost of the estimate. As I was leaving, I told them, as I’m telling you here, “I’ll be recommending you guys highly!” I checked “WIPER BLADE INSTALLATION” below, but they actually worked on the wiper fluid reservoir looking for a leak.”

They checked the tire, patched it, and saved us over 300 dollars. They chose honesty over upselling. I trust this place. “This place is a life saver! i had a nail in my tire this morning. i called Hersh and he gave me a same day appt. i arrived, they took my car right in, i ran across the street to grab some lunch and 30 min later i was back and they were done patching the tire up and on top of that it was free! “I called several car tire companies in Thousand Oaks looking for a legitimate Black Friday sale for four Continental tires size 18. The best deal came from California Tires (now Star Automotive). After forty years of living in Thousand Oaks, they have never let me down when quoting me a price over the phone. In fact, over the years, if I had a flat tire or any issues with a tire, the owner always had one of his workers repair it without a charge. The waiting room was very inviting, clean, and comfortable. WiFi was available along with a coffee machine with Keurig coffee pods and water. The work was completed in a timely manner and very well done. I am appreciative of the thoroughness and professionalism of California Tires.”

“My sister in laws car was having some problems with the air conditioning. She took it to Pep Boys and they gave her a quote for $1300 worth of work.... I've been using Moorpark Tires for years to repair my car. They have always been honest, fair, fast and efficient. So I brought her car in to ask their opinion. Sam the owner came right out, looked at it, banged his hand against the space under the glove box a couple of times and low and behold the AC popped right on AND was cold!!! He is a genious!!! And no charge for that, he just helped out. Love this place, they care and are fair. I highly recommend them. We will always bring our cars here! “This was my first experience with Independent, which was very good. I asked them to look into a fluid leak and do a oil change service. They located and fixed two different leaks. Both at different locations than I was told by the previous mechanic. Additionally the are doing an ultraviolet inspection to make sure the got all the leaks. Their inspection reports are very thorough with photos. Highly recommend this mechanic.”

“We buy all of our tires from Tire Pros TO because they do an excellent job and their customer service is Amazing. Today my daughter’s car was showing an error message because she had a flat tire yesterday and had it repaired by a company in DTLA. Apparently when ever you change tires or repair a tire it has a reset button that needs to be set. I stopped by TP and they were nice enough to check to make sure the tires had correct pressure and everything was ok. We reset the button, the light when off and everything is all good. I just wanted to give a shout out to TP for being so nice to see me on the spot and check it for me. There’s nothing better than receiving excellent customer service. I highly recommend them ????”

“We have two BMW's serviced at Exclusive Auto Service. One is my wife's 325ix, the other a M3. Recently, Sanjiv did oil changes on both and replaced cooling system parts on the ix. He diagnosed and repaired a stubborn emissions problem on the M3 which was not passing emissions, and the M3 now sounds and performs like new. My wife appreciates that Sanjiv explains what needs to be repaired without being technical. The costs were below what I've been charged at BMW dealers and mechanics in TO and Burbank. In fact, the oil changes were much less than other independent German auto mechanics. Highly recommend. I give him a 5 out of 5.”
“Stopped in to ask a question about my alternator. They offered to test it right away since I wasn't from the area. Within 15 minutes I was ready to be on my way. The service tech said the initial fee was waived since there were no issues and it was so brief. I would recommend giving this shop a try for any automotive needs.”
