“With a doubt the best wood fired pizza in the area. If you have never had a wood fired pizza you have to try it, it's a game changer! Just don't be like the lady that wanted a refund because it was "burned", it's supposed to have charred parts, that's what sets it apart from "oven" pizzas and adds to the flavor. Staff is friendly and helpful, old town Newcastle charm at its best.”

The shop was recommended to me by a friend who imports wines because I was looking for a hard-to-find variety and he pointed me to Clay in Newcastle. This is a special place. We ended up joining their bi-monthly wine club and have such a great time when we visit. Tonight was no different. So many people stroll in because they too discovered this gem and have become "regulars".
