Propane in Newcastle, CA

“I've been with this company since we moved into our current house 13 years ago. I have seriously never had a bad experience with them. They are such an organized and well run company. They have always been so kind and respectful to us and I feel their prices are competitive.

Today I feel like they saved us from a potential house fire. They came to change our propane tank regulator and after they changed it out the two gentlemen came inside to inspect all of our gas run appliances to make sure they are functioning well. While inspecting our clothing dryer they found that it had never been converted properly to propane before being installed and when they ran it they could see that built up lint was being ignited within the dryer when in use. When they showed me, I could actually see a large active flame through the vent on the inside of the dryer. They disconnected the appliance so I couldn't use it and had a conversion kit expedite shipped to them overnight. By the next morning, they had Bobby out to not only convert it properly, but he did a deep cleaning on my entire dryer by taking it apart and vacuuming out the massive amounts of burnt lint that had accumulated over the past 8 years. He also showed me how to take the front cover off so that I can clean it annually myself.

I am so grateful to this company. I truly think they saved us from a very dangerous situation for my family. A lot could have been lost. “Pulled into Nevada County Fairgrounds in the higher than normal temps 100+ without a working air conditioner. Called Auburn RV Service Center and the great service started with Raye. He worked with me to get me in the que. He sent Cody up in the mobile unit. Wow! What a great technition he is! Our RV had an electrical issue which can prove to be time consuming and costly. Cody traced it down, repaired it, checked and double checked the system and did it all in a speedy 2.0 hours. He then proceeded to clean up and he even offered to vacuume. What a great guy!!! And he knows his stuff!

“My parents had been Legacy customers for years, and they were so good to my mom after my dad passed away and mom was on her own and would constantly turn off the fireplace by accident... I've now taken over the home and need to refill the tank. I was nervous about Hunt having taken over Legacy because of some of the negative comments I read regarding Hunt... however, it all turned out great, they called me back within 24 hrs of leaving my message, had someone out exactly when they said they would, and their price per gallon was a little less then the competition. There's always some kinks to iron out whenever there's a big change, and buying out Legacy was a big change, but give them a chance... they did right by me for sure.”
