“I noticed a lot of the reviews on here that don't seem super accurate. The dumbbells are polyurethane, which is the industry standard. If they had the hex or basic rubber ones those would be more for a home gym type usage. I personally am a gear snob, have a home gym with some pretty nice equipment. My favorite types of plates are the 6-shooter/revolver style which this place has. This style is easy to pick-up and easy to maneuver, these are also in polyurethane.Secondly, this place has all the racks/machines that I could use. It's never super busy and has a good vibe to it. A lot of the negative reviews are during covid, which I never really dealt with but the equipment here is great and the management team is amazing as well. I work out at odd types, one of the reasons I switched to home gym, but whenever I need a late night pump this place is 24/7. I just checked out their Lathrop location, all new equipment and the place looks nice! I wish they updated this gym with that stuff.”
