My boyfriend schedule a consultation at this BlueNile location on 1/21/24 to look engagement rings, and wedding bands because he wanted to make sure he purchased something I would absolutely love when he proposes.About a week ago we had purchased rings at a different jewelry store, but our order was canceled the next day. We went back to repurchase but unfortunately the customer service and overall experience was disappointing so we took that as a sign to look elsewhere.We were lucky enough to have Amir as our Personal Jeweler at BlueNile. He was extremely patient, accommodating and knowledgeable.The entire experience was a breeze, from trying on various engagement rings and finding a beautiful wedding band to match. Amir also helped my boyfriend with his own wedding band and he could not be any happier with the band he purchased.Amir took his time and compared a few diamonds to show us the specs and quality of each, including one I had selected online. I was very impressed by Amir’s expertise and his ability to demonstrate to my boyfriend and I every detail of the diamonds we viewed in addition to sizing. I initially wanted a 1 carat because other jewelry stores did not have an in between for me to compare as I felt a 2 carat was too large for my hand. Thanks to Amirs attention to detail, he listened to my concerns regarding size and he had me try on a 1.5 carat and I fell in love with the diamond size after trying both sizes on.Other jewelers didn’t have patience with me asking to try on various sizes and styles in addition to 4 and 6 prong settings but Amir was very understanding and accommodating. I explained my visual needs and OCD tendencies and he completely understood and related. I felt like I was talking to someone who had MY best interest at heart and I am very grateful for that.I am very happy that we came here and had such wonderful experience thanks to the environment Amir created for us. It was super relaxed and never once felt like a salesman pitch.I cant wait for what God has planned for us and Amir has made it that much more exciting.

Our son bought his fiancee's engagement ring at Blue Nile's Newport Beach location. Amir was his sales associate and was absolutely exceptional. Knowledgeable, patient and really client-focused. The ring was delivered on time and the delivery experience was superb. The engagement went off without a hitch on New Year's Eve in New York, and our son was thrilled to say she said a resounding YES!

Amir at Blue Nile Newport is the only jeweler you will ever need to talk to when buying an engagement ring. I absolutely HATE shopping and knew virtually nothing about finding a beautiful, yet affordable engagement ring. Amir made this process easy, painless, and actually enjoyable.Amir spent 1.5-2 hours walking us through cut, clarity, color, and other characteristics of the diamond and band, and cleverly created an opportunity to discuss pricing with me alone. Amir timely followed up to make changes to our order when the original band we selected was not available, as well as checking for any applicable discounts and sales before purchase.Blue Nile was our first stop for an engagement ring, and should have been our last. We double checked other stores, but ultimately just wasted our time. No other jeweler could hold a candle to Amir's knowledge, patience, or customer service. While I absolutely preferred knowing that Amir was not paid on commission while shopping, he absolutely deserves a commission/bonus for going above and beyond to help us find the perfect ring.

I absolutely love my engagement ring, and wedding band from Blue Nile! The customer service by Paul was incredible. He listens to what we were looking for and took his time and there was no pressure at all while looking and trying on rings. He assisted my husband with everything that he needed to make a perfect purchase.

Blue Nile is garbage. They wanted 6 weeks for an exchange. The ring sizes are way off and make you wait forever on exchanges. Buy a ring from somewhere else.

I stop by everytime I'm in town to get my ring and my husband's band cleaned! Eveyone who works is is so attentive and so nice! I love talking to everyone while we wait and they always offer something to drink for me or my furry baby! Always worth coming by to keep my beautiful ring clean and looking brand new!

I recently purchased an engagement ring from Blue Nile in Newport Beach and I couldn't have been happier with the process or my salesperson, Cy Fergusson. Cy was extremely knowledgeable, made himself available by cellphone for additional questions after our appointment, and provided what I considered to be fair guidance and service. For example, Cy recommended a less expensive (but stronger) ring option that was better suited for the type of diamond I was purchasing.I can't imagine going anywhere other than Blue Nile for diamonds simply because of their incredible (online) selection. I could be sure I was selecting the best available. Also, Blue Nile provided very detailed shipping updates and they ship quick! Our ring resizing was estimated to take 2-3 weeks but was back in the store within 10 days.

My significant other and I went to shop for engagement and wedding rings and Amir helped us with the whole process. He was very patient and helpful on choosing the best pieces. He also helped us out on the price. We cannot wait for our orders to arrive.

I would NOT recommend shopping here as the staff is not adequately trained to measure ring sizes, and they didn't seem to have too many rings available to look at either. Ultimately it caused much drama and stress in the days leading up to our wedding that were completely avoidable if the staff were more competent. My husband and I stopped by to check out a wedding band and get his ring finger measured. The salesperson (Conrad Merkel) measured his finger as 7.5, and it was a hot summer day so we figured that should be the upper limit of his ring size. Unfortunately they also didn't have the ring we were interested for us to actually look at. We ordered the ring to Oregon where our wedding was and it arrived right before our wedding day. However, the ring didn't fit my husband at all! We couldn't even squeeze it on if we had iced his finger. So we called the main Blue Nile line in a complete panic a few days before our wedding and they were able to rush out a completely different ring (since they couldn't rush over the one we wanted) in size 8.0 which we were able to squeeze on his finger just for the ceremony (but still was a very tight fit). After the wedding, we went to a different Blue Nile store in the Bay Area (closer to our home) and the salespeople measured him saying his ring size is actually 8.5-9!! He hadn't gained any weight (in fact had lost some weight for the wedding) in the interim so their conclusion was that the initial sales group at this Blue Nile had completely messed up in their measurements. Would definitely recommend going elsewhere for your ring or jewelry shopping!

Came in to buy our wedding bands, and Amir was the one to help us. He was very friendly and welcoming. He was also helpful with our inquiries and gave suggestions. He was patient with us asking to try all the jewelry. Amir gave us outstanding customer service.

I would not recommend using Blue Nile. We ordered our wedding bands through them over 2 months ago and our order has been delayed 8 times and counting. Each time we contact customer service, they just tell us that our order will be shipping in the next two days, only for us to get another email that it will be delayed again. Save yourself the headache and go with a different company!

Don’t get an engagement ring from them unless you don’t mind being disappointed. I spent 30k on a ring and it arrived with uneven prongs and a misaligned diamond. Sent it out for repairs and it came back the same 3 weeks later. Quality controls are nonexistent. It’s been over a week and management still hasn’t returned my call.
