The manager, David, that runs this location always goes out of his way to cater to all of my needs whether during the reservation process, checking-in, during the rental or dropping off. I have rented countless times from him both for business and pleasure and he continues to exceed my expectations. With the Avis app my rental is secured and ready to go in advance so when I show up to pick up the vehicle he has the keys and contract ready. A couple of quick signatures and he hands me the keys and I'm out the door in my beautiful and clean new rental faster than I came in, which is always greatly appreciated. The couple of times that I've had very minor issues during my reservation he is on top of it usually before I can even call him. The customer service that he provides her exceeds the nearby locations, including the airport and any other Avis location I've been too. I'm a customer for life as long as he continue to run this location because I know as soon as I book it I don't have to think about it or worry about anything the entire rental period. I rented a vehicle for the week of thanksgiving and set up a return for Saturday 11/28. When I tried to return the vehicle the business was closed before the listed closed time, after looking around the office and calling and no answer I decided to leave the vehicle in front of the office and keep the keys since I did not have anyone to leave the keys with. I could not keep the car parked at my house since I have no room for it, and after explaining this to the desk helper -David on 11/30 to drop off the keys finally he had no explanation for why he was not there Saturday and offered a discount for a "late fee". I did not accept it of course because it is not right. He became very rude after I said I would like to dispute the extra charge and he went ahead and charged my card after I repeated that I do not give him authorization to do so. I have rented from this location twice and this will be my last, if they call to let you know they close early for me to pick up the car earlier, then why not call me to let me know they will close early for me to drop the car off earlier. Makes no sense and bad for business

Had to rent a car off the airport to save $$. The agent was super helpful. He didn't have my vehicle so they had to upgrade me to a black convertible mustang, what a shame!! The only downfall are the hours but if they work for you it's super cozy office and personal service.

One of our cars is in the shop so decided to rent a car for the week. THe young man who helped us could not have been more professional and helpful in finding us the right rental!

The two young men at the this Budget/Avis agency are true gentlemen! I had a corporate meeting that ran over and was running severely late for my flight back home. I was full of panic and anxiety when I came zipping into return the car. The two young men noticed and offered if they could help in anyway. I told them it was okay that my Lyft was 5 minutes away to take me to the airport. They told me to cancel my Lyft and they could get me there in 3 minutes. They loaded my 100+lb bags and got me to the airport in time for me to make my flight. The world needs more good people like these fine young men! Thank you again fellas!!!

Chris is amazing! I showed up to another location to pick up my pre-booked rental and I was told that there were no rentals available for my one-way trip and I would need to go to the Campus location. After calling an Uber to the new location, I was pretty upset however, Chris was so accommodating and helpful I immediately felt better. He fixed my reservation and made sure I was a satisfied customer. He was very nice and knowledgeable about cars and I wish more people were as great as this guy!

The best Avis location bar none. Super friendly and helpful, they go the extra mile for their customers. Have rented from them dozens of times - always a great experience.

If I could give more stars for my experience at this Avis location I would! Chris went out of his way to earn my business and this review. He could not have been more patient, offered a quick upgrade when he heard what type of car I drive and patiently explained features with which I was unfamiliar. Everything went quickly, on point and with a friendly attitude. I witnessed him handling the next rental in the same manner even though the customer was picking up her car a day late. Everything smoothed over with a helpful, no fuss attitude. I honestly will always try to rent from THIS LOCATION. It is directly across the street from SNA. The only possible downside is that it is a smallish location but the lot looked full on midmorning on a Monday! Thank you again...and again!

Awful, understaffed. Poor employee John is running around doing everything. Then he is rude to customers. I came in to return my vehicle May 16th at 10 am. The employee "John" told me he had to wash a car and to go get gas to avoid paying a huge surcharge fee, which was nice. I asked him if he could drop me off 3 blocks away when I return the car, "He said we are only covered to go to the airport and back.... I'm not going to risk getting on an accident or you getting hurt just to help you." I get it, "company policy" is a better way to say that. When i return after getting gas, no one was around. Sign on door says "When to pick up a client, will be back at 12:15." I couldn't wait that long, had a flight to catch. Waited 25 min. Three other customers pulled up during that time. Two left after waiting Au long. One remained, looked trustworthy, gave him my keys to turn car in when John returned. Called an hour later to verify car was registered as turned in, John checks, leaves me on hold for 20 minutes. I hang up and call back. He says the security guards moved it and that I shouldn't have done that but it's all ok and he will waive the late fee. I tell him you shouldn't abandon the business for 30+ minutes during peak hours and two customers left as a result. He told me I was suppose to leave car with security guard or call the number printed on the door sign and i said how am I suppose "know that?" He started arguing with me. I told him I'm gong to leave a negative yelp review and then he threatened that he will charge me a late fee after all which would equate to a full days fee if I did. Then he hung up. Wow. Reported to Avis. Never coming back.

Awful awful awful! We rented a transit from inside the airport location and the return drop off sent us here. They close at 6pm and we arrived at 5:55pm. I had gift certificates I wanted to use to pay and originally when I picked up the van, I was informed to save the gc until return. Well, this location would not accept the gift card, they said it was supposed to be applied in the beginning and before anything could be done, the guy applied the total onto my card in full and rushed us out. He was uncooperative and very unprofessional saying too bad no solution for us. He said he was the manager and he wont help us.

I called in and my call got routed to a general customer service line where they promised to have a pick up scheduled on the day of my reservation. Luckily I called in before and they said they had no such information. I would have wasted my time waiting for this! Also the guy on the call from this location did not care to listen to me, and kept putting me on hold for half an hour. Even when he was on the call, he was noy paying attention to what I said. I canceled my reservation with them. Very bad customer service!

We reserved an SUV 2 weeks in advance for Thankgiving weekend and they overbooked on that day!! Left us with no notice stuck at the airport waiting in lines at other car rentals to get an SUV. Worst service I've ever experienced!!!
