I've been to many Comerica branches and this is the best one. Staff is always friendly and eager to help, and the 2 branch managers I've worked with have both been exceedingly helpful.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced at a bank. I had a personal account at this bank for 10 years and members of my family have banked with them for 20. The last couple years their manager(s) has been the single rudest person I have ever dealt with. The Irvine branch is fantastic, and the branches I have worked with in TX and AZ are fine, it is this specific branch their choice of branch mangers that cause the problem. In fact, the current branch manager would not let me close my account, I finally had to deal with the Irvine branch who was more than happen (as always) to help in anyway. Nevertheless, we are moving all of our business and personal accounts out of Comerica over the course of the next couple months.

This branch staff was very nice when I first opened my business account, but as time went on I started getting a feeling of question as to my legitimacy. One day my account was frozen and it was a security measure. I run a very well business and I help many people in need. I was given the third degree even after I answered all questions they still treated me as a criminal. I filed a complaint with the OCC and sent a letter of demand for payment of my money. They actually scared one of my clients that my client stopped payment on a check later though to deposit the money in another one of my accounts. So Comerica charged a fee for the stop payment they initiated to cause a stop payment fee or bounced check fee. There is something wrong in banking. These bankers think they are doing a favor of security but instead they are causing serious disruption to business. In my opinion also all banks appear to close accounts easier than admittance of fault then move on. This bank and all banking seems to use the same protocol of form letter treatment instead of personal consideration of client want. It's sad really. In this instance I was very lucky my investors understood banking and stuck with me.

Our go to branch for over 10 years. Thanks goes to Ellen and the crew for all the good work and deeds where: --They validate. --Funds are always available next day. --The old manager worked out a deal on the safe deposit box which is still honored. --Easy in and easy out. --No fuss secured signature loan with lower interest rate was easily obtained/renewed. --Did I say funds were always available next business day? --No lines. --Coffee if you want. --Yes...no lines (well, during mid-day). --Direct phone line to branch. --If there is a person in front of you another teller opens up, or Ellen's been known to come over and help me.
