“Finally found a good place for collectibles in OC. Clean and well organized. Helpful staff. Spent about an hour in there today talking with who I presume is the owner. I bought a big load of stuff and he worked with me a bit on price even though his prices were already very competitive to online comps. Will be back here probably every week. If you're in the area, and you like Funkos, Pokemon, One Piece etc. this is a must visit.”
“I came to Michael’s to buy a couple of photo frames and get a custom frame made and frame one of my beautiful pictures that I got from Brazil
And here I met this wonderful young girl called Claire who is so nice and caring so professional
She put so much of her time effort thoughts to make sure my pictures are properly framed. She did everything with a big smile in all her knowledge and pleasure..
She inspired me of how important it is to do a great job just for the pleasure of doing it.
Thank you so much Claire for being an amazing customer service person and just a good person”
“Love this shop, and Allison is one awesome lady!! We called from Colorado before our journey to ask some questions while planning a day trip to the ocean and spoke to Allison. Talking to her REALLY made us look forward to getting to the shop and meeting her! She also told us about the upcoming air show, and that the pier would be closed off, so we came a day earlier than planned. Thank you Allison!
Her amazing positive energy really made our entire day so much more special. She remembered our phone call when we arrived, and spent some quality time with us showing us the kites they carry to find the exact one for us. We can't wait to go back and say HI! Thank you Allison!! You ROCK!!
Sending love from Colorado. <3
See you next time!”
“Great service and an amazing selection of trains. I purchased my first O-Gauge train set here. The employees answered all of my questions and were not pushy at all.”
“Super helpful and nice people happy with my order of bird seed and the birds are loving it ,also they delivered my order in a short time after ordering by phone will be a loyal customer”
“Stopped in to check out The Creative Play while visiting from out of town & super glad I did! Really enjoyed getting to talk with Lonnie about his shop & check out the collection. Even got lucky with the pack of cards I bought, pulled a hit from my favorite team! Overall 10/10 experience, can't wait to collaborate on a custom framed piece in the future.”
“This is always one of my favorite hobby stores to visit. They always have a sale going on and they always have coupons. So usually their stuff is quite affordable. They have everything you could possibly want at a hobby/sewing/home decor store store. I find them much more comprehensive than they're running mate. And I will go here 99% of the time. If you haven't tried them you really have to. It's fun just to walk around and look at all the goodies.”
“Ever since they reopened, I find myself there more and more. The store is much cleaner, added a few modern touches- such as self-checkout, and now carry balloons that can be filled with helium onsite. I love having Michael’s so close to home.”
“Good customer service in the front with the balloon selection and decorations for parties. Good staff as well in the frame department. I recently purchased a customer frame for my wife and she loved the colors and Product quality.”
“Was looking for an anime store and stumbled upon this place. It's small but dense. If you're looking generally for "anime stuff" this seems to be the place, lol. To my surprise they had some uncommon franchises like Gran Blue Fantasy. I don't typically see that even in huge anime stores so that was cool to see. I think this will be a place to check regularly.”

“Great place to find SPECIALTY gifts. Did a lil Christmas shopping and picked up PRACTICAL & UNIQUE fishing gear. Customer service was top tier! Public parking available and please note there is a 30 day return policy on their merchandise! Give them a try ????⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Came here for the first time to check out if they had any Digimon TCG related items and the guy upfront was nice and led me to where they had sealed products, i saw exactly what i wanted and it was a quick purchase. Will most likely come here for any TCG related purchases in the future. ?”
“Stopped by to have a collage framed. Diane was my framer. She knew exactly what to do. She's such the expert. She's helped me before. She's very professional and very customer service oriented. Thank you Diane.”
“Michael was helpful, informative and incredibly well read on the settings books. I've always been used to being the person in the room when among friends with by far the most 40k knowledge and familiarity with the universe and more lightly so the hobby, and I was blown away by his breadth of knowledge, his passion as well as his easy attitude and affable personality. My family has been going to this store for twenty years, starting with both of my older brothers, and my cousins, and with staff like this, I don't see any reason for that to change.
I've always been a bit distant from Tabletop due to the difficulty of getting into painting, and he never lacked for suggestions, tips or lessons. Even if all you're interested in is perhaps painting a mini or two for your shelf, or gifting a box for a collector you know, it's a great place to start.”

“I came here strictly for their sonny angels and yes I knew they were fake. They have a good selection of sonny angels and the most expensive one I saw was $9.99 while the others were around $6.99-$7.99. When you check out, they do let you know it’s fake.
Just from the ones I pulled, I don’t think you could tell they are dupes at all distance. The ones I got didn’t even seem bad close up. I’d go back to get more to save money. In total, I spent $18/$19 for two.
This store has so many cute stuff ranging from Sonny Angels to K Pop items to anime to Sanrio.
The people at the store were very kind and welcoming.”
“Drove from Apple Valley and stumbled across this store by accident. I visited on Thursday, April 27 2023 well after 11am. The sign said closed and the store was dark inside. 4 stars for tardiness. Once I'm able to go inside to shop, I will update my rating.”
“Super friendly staff! Very knowledgeable about anything RC. I stopped by when I picked up my first rc rock crawler. I had a million different questions and they were able to answer all of them and provided me with everything I needed to get rolling! This will now be my go to store for anything RC”
“I needed some jewelry appraised for an estate. Steven was fantastic. Appraised multiple pieces in a timely manner and provided in-depth explanations for his assessments. Will visit again for my appraisal needs.”
“Reopened after a fire. Spotlessly clean with nice staff. Couldn't believe my eyes when they had Halloween fully stocked in July, but my go to Michael's.”
“I was so excited to pick up my mobile order that I showed up before I got the alert that the item was ready for pickup. The person at the front was super sweet about my overeager arrival and gave me updates that my order would be ready soon. I had almost no wait for my mobile order!”
“I’m writing this because somebody said the “old man will try to rip you off”. That is not true at all. Coast Philatelics is one of the few old-school stamp collector stores. It’s a family-run shop, and they’ve have been in business since the late 70s, I think. He sells everything cheap because the stamp collecting world has gone downhill. There just aren’t as many stamp collectors as there used to be. I love this place, it’s a little hole in the wall that’s floor to ceiling with stamps, accessories, unique pieces, and collectible paper. There used to be a lot of places like this back in the 80s, but this is one of the last. It’s worth your time to go in. (The shop is open limited hours, as the owner takes care of his health concerns.)”
“Stumbled across this place by accident and loved it. Great staff and great selection. Love the bargain bins and walked out with a ton of amazing cards. Will def be a regular stop for me.”
“Sales associates are very nice, if you can find them. Fully stocked inventory. Order online and pick up is quick, but parking may be a little difficult to find.”
“GREAT EXPERIENCE!We were so pleased with our recent experience with Tami at the London Coin Galleries in Newport Beach. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and was happy to answer any questions we had thoroughly and completely. It was obvious that she was a professional, competent businesswoman, and we would recommend her to anyone wanting to sell good-quality gold items or coins. The gallery itself is lovely, with many interesting and unusual pieces. We would definitely come back.”
