Loved the Lido House! Not only was it very cute and perfect location to walk to the beach, but I accidentally left some nice clothes in my room upon checking out and their housekeeping turned in to lost and found and they quickly shipped it to me! Highly recommend this hotel!

Such a great experience, despite only being here for one night! Our room was great and a nice retreat after a busy week. The overall vibe of the hotel is so cute and I love the coffee shop that’s on site! Everyone (except one front desk agent) was nice and helpful. We will definitely be back in the future!

Rooms are clean and location is great but service is some of the worst I’ve ever seen! I’ve had better service from a road side motel in the middle of nowhere! I would never recommend this hotel or stay here again if it was the last room available in Newport full stop.

Amazing stay at the Lido House! The nautical decor is awesome, it is modern but cozy with all the nautical feels. The staff is wonderful- friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our room was beautiful with more nautical themes. We had a great view of the pool and a balcony to relax on! The best part was that’s walking distance to the village. The restaurant in hotel is delicious with amazing decor. I recommend this hotel!Nearby activities: Walking distance to the villageNoteworthy details: Restaurant is awesome!

Rented a two bedroom cottage for 3 nights with my husband and two small children. The place was filthy. Stained furniture, stains on the sheets, washer/dryer smelled and didn't dry clothes, coffee table books so sticky they stuck to the coffee table, the list goes on. Overall run down and not worth the money. We asked to move and relocated to two adjoining rooms inside the hotel. Those were better but not great. Our last night there my husband had to call the front desk because there was a 50+ person party going on across the hall. Save your money and don't stay here.

We would like to give a special thank to Walter Arroyo, who made our experience great. We had book the rooftop for 2pm but once reaching we had the unpleasant surprise that the rooftop was closed and only opening at 3pm without being informed.Walter took charge of the situation and offered us the alternative of going to the Mayor's Table downstair while waiting.He made it a very good experience for us and we wanted to thank him.We will come back!

Love this place, great decor in the downstairs bar and the rooftop on a sunny day is exceptional. I only wish they had a better pool or at least a separate one for adults. If you're going to charge an arm and a leg for a daybed or cabana, keep other people's screaming and running kids away from me while I sip my $30 cocktail...

Beautiful property with two very cool bar/lounge options, one being a rooftop which is hard to find in Newport. Their "cabanas" are way overpriced for what they provide, daybeds with an umbrella are $250 and a complete joke (especially because they only have one pool so kids are running around you as you sip a $30 cocktail and sit on a $250 day bed) but I get it, they have to have something. Loved the cocktails and service on the rooftop area much more.

Just visited the Lido House December 8th for our 3rd girls trip. We had booked the Balboa Cottage and when we got there it was not ready; which was fine, we were early. When we arrived we were greeted by an extremely unfriendly young woman at the registration desk. Wish I could have got her name but they had no names on. She made it seem like she was doing us a big favor by even talking to me. The other person at the desk seemed friendly and was pouring champagne for his clients.The girl at the desk told me that our cart with all of our belongings and gifts piled high would be put in the back so it would not be right at the door.When I got back because our room as ready the cart was still in the same place, it had not been moved to a back room. As I talked to the same unfriendly person the guy beside was pouring champagne for another bunch of people. I asked "how do we get champagne?" She replied "I have to pour it." "Okay, can we get some?" Again she was pretty put out by my request.I asked to get our cart brought to the room and we waited and waited and waited and called again. I finally went down to the lobby and got it myself. I just walked away without anyone asking anything.The accomodations were great, everyone else was great. But when you are greeted from the getgo in such a negative way, it really is hard to turn it around.As a longtime Marriott I have stayed at much lesser hotels with much greater service. Service has to be better, especially the greeting you get.

I knew going in for checkin I was going to be a problem customer - all sorts of last minute changes to my reservation. I never want to be that guy and was feeling guilty, but big shoutouts to Josh at the front who handled every problem with ease. He never made me feel like I was causing an issue, even though I know I was. He took care of me kindly and quickly, all while balancing 4-5 other people.Great hotel, clean gym, and the valet service has some real caddyshack energy going on, which was fantastic.

Another amazing Marriott property. Can't beat the staff they are so accommodating and on top of it. Pool and hot tub was beautiful, perfect temp. Drinks at the bar were perfect. Can't wait to come home... I mean back. ?

The rooms are comfortable and great location. Walking distance to beach and shopping area. Marriott status was not acknowledged and was not asked about any of the status benefits. Staff were friendly in person, but that's the end of the service. When we called assistance for car or front desk, was on hold then hung up on twice without any being able to speak to anyone (we needed toiletries). They did attempt service recovery and that's appreciated. It's an amazing location but for the price, did not meet expectations.
