I purchased a jogger set online at splendid.com. It didnt fit so went online and printed off the return paperwork thinking I could then bring it to the store at fashion island rather than shipping it back. when I went to the store the sales associate very curtly told me they do not process online returns in the store, and pushed the items back across the counter to me. When i asked why she said there is no relationship between online and the stores - "never has been" as I was told. She was very abrupt and kinda rude to make it worse. Second, what kind of silly policy is that anyway? Nordstrom's ,Macy's basically everyone takes online orders back at stores. Ridiculous practice and bad customer service. wont be shopping there again.

The manager at the store in Houston, Lisa is very rude. I went to return a shirt that I ordered on line and was told there were no returns only store credit. I explained that the I was not told that since I had ordered in the store. She then proceeded to tell me that I was not their typical customer. I have been shopping there for years. As I was walking out she told the other lady there is a difference between a client and customer and I was not a client. Someone should really educate her in customer service!!

I had a really great shopping experience here with attentive, helpful customer service. I had to sort through a lot of unflattering stuff I didn't like but I did end up finding some decent clothes made of really soft, comfortable material. I would shop here again for sure, particularly when they're having sales or promotions.

My daughter received a Hanukkah present from her grandmother from Splendid - a single outfit totaling $400. My daughter is Autistic and Splendid is one of the few places she will wear clothes from so we buy A LOT of product from them! The purchase was made in October and gifted the first week of December - but grandma purchased the same size as last year and my daughter has grown. I have receipts and the items are in the proper packaging with all tags. I tried to exchange or return for credit to the local store - and was told they could not help and was treated VERY rudely. As the purchase was made online, I reached out to customer care with the receipt and asked to exchange for the correct size. Customer care sent an automated message saying they could not return and when I inquired about an exchange I was told they would not honor an exchange and there is nothing I can do. Splendid is a luxury brand and should have the ability to honor returns/exchanges in store - and if not online. If a return cannot be honored an exchange should he honored. This is terrible service. Essential, my mother in law spent $400 to throw items in the trash because we have no use for them and no recourse despite the items still being sold for full price online and in store - and having tags and original packaging and a receipt. We will never buy from Splendid again - and will work endlessly to ensure no one we know buys from them either! So incredibly disgusting!

Julie is the RUDEST person I've ever had to deal with at any store! I was getting help from a nice girl, who's name escapes me, just with a few questions about the store, as I was visiting California, and we don't have Splendid back home; Julie then came over, and sent the girl in the back, and over the course of 15 minutes essentially told me if I was going to waste any more time, I should just pick something and get out already. I didn't think I was being loud or rude, and the clothes are still cute, but I made sure to remember Julie because lowkey it ruined my day. :(

There is absolutely no way to get in touch with a human. I have had a problem with my order and have emailed and messengered all multiple times. They are unwilling to help. They send the same automated email. The 3 T-shirts that I ordered were short and I’m not a tall person. They were small And I’m a small person. They were nothing like the picture and not described that way. I have never in my life encountered such horrible customer service. I was a loyal friend and wore their product all the time. I’m so insulted

Never in all the years of shopping at this location have I been mistreated. Calling to complain to higher up! This needs to be addressed!!!! The manager is Julie, went in to order some clothes in my size from another store like I usually do cause they don’t always have a Large or XL in stock. Anyways she was so rude to me and to other customers. Also cruel to this sweet employee helping me in the beginning. Never in my life seen this behavior at a clothing store. By the way she took down her mask when she was talking to me at the register in front of two other customers felt for my safety. This is COVID already uneasy shopping without a mask want to feel safe shopping. Saw other people complain on reviews and I understand why. This is a issue and it’s disgusting to me if Splendid keeps this women working with customers, feel horrible for employees that have to work with her.

Julie the manager is the worst! Because of her we will no longer be shopping with this brand, ever. We came in for a return and abrasively gave us limited options. Before we could continue the conversation she made the choice we did not want, now due to that we will have to go though a lengthly process with our credit card company, or possibly lose the money all together.But the main issue was not the return process but her terrible attitude. She was aggressive, rude and unhelpful. She treated us like a problem and just wanted us to leave so she could attend to the 'paying' customers. Save your money and shop somewhere else.

I thought they were helpful until I realized that they were just nice and full of false promises. They said they would ship my order same day, but now the jacket she had "in hand" is out of stock and they keep promising to drop ship from another store and send me tracking. I like supporting local stores but I will never go this route again. You are much better off ordering from corporate online.

I got a faux fur coat/robe here. I could not believe how much it shed all over my house. I even washed it just to be sure it wasn't just superficial shedding. No, it was constantly shedding. The fibers were extremely annoying. I can't believe how cheaply made their stuff is. Will never purchase from this company again. I tried to rectify the situation by returning/exchanging the coat. The staff told me I couldn't receive a credit but had to pick out what I wanted then and there. There was nothing left in my size (small) in the entire store!? Horrible. How am I supposed to chose something that doesn't fit me? One star for bad product and bad service. Don't go here. Plenty of better options out there. There stuff is Made in China and sold like it's not. Total crap.

They do not answer their phone or reply to emails. The automated voice message says for a immediate resolution... and the automated email reply says "we will respond very soon". Not so. I may have to dispute via my credit card company.

Give this store a low rating! Do not come here, guess the managers at this place let people come in sick. I got sick cause of this place. I have kids this is not right! Also Wanted to order me some items but because they are sale items the attitude changed toward me from a manager. Not coming back to this location! Thanks fashion island splendid for ruining my holiday vacation...
