“A lovely resort right on Clear Lake. We have a 2 bedroom unit. There's a generous open living room/dining and full kitchen. There's a balcony with a grill. One bedroom with 2 twin beds and the primary with a king.
The grounds are beautifully maintained. There's a pool, kiddie pool and hot tub and a dock for enjoying the lake.”

“What a wonderful hotel! Peaceful setting with mature trees, fountain and a historic hotel building that has been lovingly restored. On-site parking with two Tesla destination, chargers, and a third charger for other electric vehicles. Small salt water swimming pool in the back is quiet and secluded.”

“The host Beatrice 'B' was the best! Definitely will plan another trip there again, we had a family of about 30 of us, and each of us all had our own space, kitchens beds, everything you could need, plus it was very clean and well kept. Nothing negative to say at all. Was the best trip our family had in a while. We all drove from Reno, NV quite ways out, but worth it! Definitely will be coming back! Can't wait to see B again also.”

“In the 1960's though the 1970s when I was from a five year old and growing up my parents and family would meet at either Tykens or Southside resorts in Guerneville along the Russian River in Sonoma we and five other close family's would rent little cabins for one, sometimes two weeks every Summer, they were affordable and usually got flooded every Winter so of course te water and silt wear and tear and each and every year we were all at our river resort cabins we were all in heaven every waking and sleeping minute with rare exceptions we were there. This little Motel is kind of like those little river resorts and better as amenities and condition of the units are much better, i can see it does flood here on occasion but not every year as our Russian River and its only about a one hour further North extra drive. Rates vary according to the length of your stay and what I found being a pet lover and "In The Mix Friendly" is a wonderful little Motel, very affordable and really nice people that of course have know how regarding business too. There are 12 units here, most one room with adjoining bathroom and all the modern fixtures needed (They are furnished) if you have problems with pet dander etc.. just bring some fresh bedding you can put on your self and maybe a broom and mop, the little places are quaint, rustic, romantic, affordable and are about 100 feet from the North Shore of Clear Lake, California's largest Lake, of course beach access is a few minutes away, we can see the Lake from this Rainbow's Pot of Gold but to beach, boat & fish it its a five minute drive. Another nice aspect of Lake County (There are 118 Mountain Peaks here) is that compared to other rural areas in our nearby Bay Area, there is little traffic and much more space with lots less people, very nice to get away for awhile. Please also keep in mind time changes things and most reviews that are more than a year old are indeed old news.”

“Stayed 12-14 July. Nice location, great views. Room was a typical 70'-80's motel room. Very small bathroom. WiFi in our building (Cloud -closet to lodge and water) did not connect, but could get weak connect from nother building (lake). Restauarnt was okay, but service was slow on Friday (12th), onSaturday they had a tribute band show and wee turned away from restaurant.”

“Was double charged for room, had already booked and paid through Hotel.com for 2 nights. Desk clerk was aware of this, but charged again. Returned from family reunion on 2d night, discovered room card was only scanned for 1 night. Waited 1 hour for desk clerk to return to property to correct problem. Worst stay ever! In process of disputing 2d charge with my credit card company”

“I love that it is in a secluded little spot right on the lake. Nice dock for fishing and a great patio area to set at and enjoy the view. Nice clean rooms that so far from what I've seen come with a nice size kitchenette. Beds are very comfortable. The owners are amazingly kind people. I do appreciate their hospitality

Rooms: Nice size kitchenette. Would say bigger than the kitchens I had in my home. Nice little dining area in the kitchenette.

“Cute little cottage with all the amenities of home. Air conditioning,oven, stove, coffee pot fridge, microwave and a big dock and pier to do fishing all night and all day. It was quiet and peaceful. My husband and I will be back for a peaceful fishing retreat.”

“We liked this place! It’s a tad old fashioned ( but not out of date to modern needs) but no complaints there! We prefer places like this. Everything was very clean and the vibe is cozy.”
