Took the joy out of my Xmas tree experience! Horrible Customer Service.! Pointed us to the saws then pointed us to walk towards the freeway. Forgot to tell us about taking a wagon to carry tree or offer my Disabled brother a ride that we saw drive right by us. I've been on Central Coast 53 years, went to Hollaway as a child many times. So disappointing how its changed. Oh & don't use your CC they charge a service fee of 3.5% NEVER AGAIN!

Still the best farm to get your Christmas tree, wreaths and holiday spirit. We drive about two hours for the experience. Get here early before it gets crowded. You come to the farm do dress accordingly. Got to say hello to Mr. Turkey and other animals. The kids and husbands rode the tractor ride and after a lot of picture taking we finally decided to cut the tree. Relaxed by the fire pit while sipping on some hot cocoa and took home an ornament for grandma. Such a fun tradition. Love this place. Prices are comparable to your local stores. Cut your own tree or if you're into the noble firs and other varieties, they have them, too.

Bought two "fresh" Noble/Nord fir trees ($130-150 apiece) on 11/26. They were DEAD by 12/14 despite stands full of water and minimal heater use in our homes. We can't even turn the lights on due to the risk of a fire! I've never had a Christmas where we couldn't turn the lights on our tree! I can't wait to get rid of these trees.

way overpriced- be expected to spend at least $100 just for hot cocoa and the kids get on the mediocre rides. Staff was very rude and my children asked to leave because they were kicked off the seesaw by a grown staff.

If you are not excited about the children getting a tree why have a Christmas tree business? They do not deserve our business. We will not be back.We arrived at 6:30om. Rode the rides & enjoyed ourselves for the fifth year in a row. And then without any warning we were told we could not cut down a tree because the registers were closed. At 7:42pm.Two seven olds crying did not even sway the owners.Merry Christmas.

Well, we had started a tradition of coming here to cut our own tree, but last year they had raised their prices so high we just got one in a pot, which died pretty quick. This year, they're really cheating their customers. We looked at precut, there was a tree that was only maybe an inch taller than me, in 5'3, and it was in the 6-7' line for $85! Yet 4-5' is supposed to be $70... Walking out in the field to cut our own was worse. Trees that were clearly barely 6' had price tags of $110, a lot of them had huge missing chunks and overall looked pretty sad. We just won't be back we don't think after this year.

Such a wonderful place to get fresh Christmas trees, and pine! There's nothing better than the fresh smell of pine in your car or home. They will help you if you're not accustomed to cutting your own tree. They provide carts and saws. Full service. The trees are excellent. I've never had a bad one from here (but have elsewhere). It's also an amazing family experience especially if you have kids. Highly recommend if you're in the area: Atascadero through Santa Barbara.

Have gotten super commercial. Raised their prices incredibly and when they made a mistake on their discount card, they refused to fix it. The staff was actually rude and less than helpful all down the line. We have brought our kids and grandchildren here for about 25 years. This was our first negative experience. Considering our history with them, we will be back next year. But, if this is the new normal, it may be the end of a family tradition.

We live in San Simeon and were referred to Holloways Farm. Our family made the drive around Nov 28th. We picked out a beautiful noble fir with the help of one of the boys. Service was great. After 2 weeks of watering we noticed an infestation of bugs on the tree. I called the farm and was told we could bring it back or to take it outside and spray it down really well, then leave it for a couple days. I had asked for a credit for next year and the woman on the phone said she would check and call me back. I never heard a thing after that. The drive is quite far so we took off all of the decorations and threw some away because of the bugs. I sprayed the tree down several times and left it outside for 2 days.We then redecorated the tree and hoped for the best. Unfortunately the bugs must have layed eggs that we did not get and the infestation happened again. This time we just threw the tree outside and had enough. It was a nightmare to deal with and I felt that Halloway Farm left us hanging and never returned the call to assist with a solution.

Every year we go to Holloway's to get our tree. Never had a bad experience there. Kids love the pedal car race track. But the big rope swing is where the real fun is at.

Always fun to visit Holloway's Christmas Tree Farm. You can cut your own tree or select one that is already cut. When you visit you can feel good about supporting a local family business. Holloway's provides holiday jobs for lots of students and they are always helpful and courteous. It's a very kid friendly place too!
