Surprise! I didn't expect much from this Nipomo frontage Road luggage store until I got inside. They have a tremendous selection and actually it's quite a large operation. In addition to their local store they sell through their own website and on Amazon. Their prices are excellent, I don't think you'll find a lower price for luggage anywhere else. Their selection is of brands is also excellent. The size of their operation they have hundreds, if not thousands of suitcases in stock at their store.

After ringing the bell twice, eventually some kid came out. Quoted a price, and told me that the person who does the register will be 5 minutes. Already annoying. 10 minutes later, I called to try and get someones attention. Same kid picked up the phone. I told him i wanted to purchase my item. He said ok , and hung up. Nobody came for another 3 minutes, and I left.What a waste of time.

Posted store hours are 10-5 M-F. Not very convenient. Very frustrating my husband and I took off work early in SLO just to go, and they were already closed at 10 til 5. Lights off, doors locked. I guess they really don’t won’t to sell to the public.

Came by to look for quality luggage to begin post-Covid adventures. Spoke with the owner and he was knowledgeable and even opened a sealed box to show me a high end carryon. Ended up with a TravelPro domestic carryon with a nice discount and lifetime warranty. He knew which pieces had a "No Matter What" warranty and would be available if I ever needed to use it. I will definitely come back once my old, full-size Samsonite Oyster gives out or just becomes to much of an eyesore. His prices were better that online for most of the half dozen pieces he showed me.

last night I saw a note in my mailbox from Post office, so today 02/05/2020 I pick it up. I checked tracking#, it is same as the first package number they said left in the mailbox 01/30/2020 5:26 pm, they lied because it is too big to fit the mailboxand and this is priority mail 2-day shipping. The second thing I want to thank you for your excellent service for sned me another package in time, So my daughter received a gift before leaving, I am so glad for you belive and help customer, and I will return the second package to you

Luggage Base gets 150% my vote. I ordered an item via Amazon to be shipped from Luggage Base. I inadvertently and incorrectly clicked on the wrong shipping address. Luggage Base not only processed my order so quickly, they also were able to correct the incorrect shipping address that was my doing. Their business professionalism and customer service blew me away. I highly recommend Luggage Base to anyone and trust their business integrity. updated today Thursday, 8/23/18. Just received my luggage at correct shipping at address all before noon. My doing was my fault, and Luggage Base was quick to correct my mistake. Superb customer service! Bravo!

I would give this company no stars of I could. They have the worst customer service that I have ever had to deal with. They are rude and condescending when citing their policies that are out of date and irrelevant to GOOD customer service. We had to return a suitcase to them that broke on the first use that was purchased from our Amazon registry - they returned the value to the guest who purchased it. What a headache! now 4 months after the wedding our poor wedding guest is trying to sort out purchasing us a new suitcase. They won't respond to my emails about this after sending two separate ones. I would never ever order from Luggage Base again and would highly recommend that you don't either.
