The front staff is always so incredibly rude, short and ill mannered. I try my best to avoid going in there, because of the staff. They always speak down to me, and make the simplest of tasks seem insurmountable. I very rarely go out of my way to express my thoughts publicly, but something needs to change.

Asked about the new postal rates that went into effect on 7/14. I'd looked for more than a half hour online to find the new international rate for an additional ounce on first class mail- a small point, but necessary for overseas letters.
The clerk at the counter showed me the information I'd already seen online. She had no idea what changes, if any, had been made for additional ounces internationally. "I'd have to look that up," with no interest in doing so.
Thanks. If post office employees don't know what the post office charges for international mail, who does know?

In the last few months, the post office has delivered at least 5 of my packages to the wrong address. I understand if it happens on a rare occasion but it’s getting to the point to where im too worried to order anything. Happens way too often.

I was a former mail carrier with USPS so I understand they will never read this or even care to read any type of reviews. No matter if you call to complain, most of the time nothing will be done unless you're lucky. I really dislike my mail lady because she works fast which is great... but she is not accurate. She delivers my parcels to other people's door step or she'll leave my parcel locker key in a different resident's mailbox. This has happened multiple times and guess what? Even if I complain nothing will happen because these regular carriers who've been carrying for years don't change their habits. It is sadly frustrating because they don't care. My mail lady is a rural carrier and the way it works is they're a salaried worker. They get paid for the route, so if they finish an 8 hour route in 5 hours, they will still get paid the full 8 hours. The only downside to being a rural carrier is if they're smacked with tons of parcel and mail and work over the 8 hours, they don't get overtime. That's why your rural carrier is probably working as fast as possible and if they mess up? Nothing happens or they get a slap on the wrist. The post office can't fire people because they REALLY need people due to a lot of offices being understaffed. Also the union heavily protects them so they can't get fired. So if your carrier sucks guess what, you probably ain't going to get a new regular for the next few years which could range from 1-20+ year.

Unbelievably Rude! Utterly Incompetent! The 3 Jerks at the front counter Monday February 5th at 11:25 a.m were unable to do their job due to a total lack of character! Completely Unacceptable and Disrespectful... They need to be loading trucks NOT at the front counter! Postmaster Notified...

They won’t deliver your mail after a vacation hold. You need to pick it up, and they will not notify you of this at all. You have to call and find out.

The box stated “Perishable”. It was delivered to the mailroom vs my home and it sat in the mail room for 3 days. The last time I was sent an item like this it was delivered to my door. This is just poor service.

These guys are a joke. Sometimes I hate mail sometimes coming from the post office even when you have all your information your address your phone number on their website your profile and they cannot call you when the package comes and they just leave. It is so annoying half the time that they don’t call you or look your name up on your profile

Unable to deliver mail or parcels to the correct address in a consistent manner but DOES deliver our mail and packages to addresses OTHER THAN the addressee, fairly frequently, at least weekly.I have had First class mail placed in my front door jamb by an unknown individual who took the time to drop it off after receiving it incorrectly.I have had prescription medicines missing for several days while a neighbor was on vacation and it had been left in their mailbox.Somehow, our junk mail always arrives. This time was worst of all, my Amazon package of Dunkin Donuts Coffee says delivered in mailbox and it was not!I spoke to a local postal employee when I found my package had not arrived on Wednesday who assured me I would here back from someone that day. Nobody from USPS Nipomo returned my call that day. Thursday came and went with no contact from USPS.Update: My package was delivered by a kind neighbor. The Nipomo Postmaster stopped by my home and explained that he has assigned a new full time delivery person to the route we are on and he will be conducting additional training. Time will tell.Time told...3 days later and my neighbor just delivered our mail that he received again.
