Vons had been my go to pharmacy for several years. I’ve never experienced an employee who was unfriendly. Everyone has been helpful and doing their best. Sometimes there are lines, but there are lines everywhere.

Staff are rude and act like they don't care at all. There are a couple friendly checkers, the rest of the staff are arrogant. Some of the males stop talking to you when a women walks by and they stop and stare, totally unprofessional and disgusting.

I use to really like this pharmacy but the customer service is getting really terrible. I had to go in 3 times until they finally got my billing correct, which I totally understand is a bit out of their control but they treated me like it was my fault. They would tell me things like "I had to call 4 different numbers" and accused me of refusing to take a phone number from one of the techs, which I did take the phone number because they left it on my voicemail. I also called the number. Also they ask you to keep track of who you talked to in the pharmacy because they don't talk to each other. It is a lot of work to get a prescription filled here and they act like they can do no wrong. In fact they act as if they are doing you a favor if they are just doing their job.

The people at this pharmacy are very rude, unprofessional and make way to many mistakes. I've been with them about 1 year and in that time they have been late filling my prescription numerous times I've had to go without my medication approximately 20 days in that year and once when I got home and opened them I discovered they only given me half of my most important medication when I talked to them about it they all but called me a liar and said they had filled correctly and said there stock was right so they either have a theft working there or they can't count and are unwilling to admit their mistakes so I had to take half the number I was supposed to take just so they would last the whole month. If you're thinking about giving them your business DON'T they make way too many mistakes and they don't even care. I gave them 2 stars only because I pushed the wrong button I meant to only give 1 star...... ?????

Don't use their online appointment system. It's horrible. They still make you wait. They don't give you instructions on what to bring or where to check in. Waste of time. And their people are rude...

This is the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever experienced .I have been getting a prescription there for 2 years . Today I go to pick it up and its only half there . I immediately question the quantity and the pharmacist insist its correct . I get home and check and sure enough its wrong .I call them back and they still insist its correct . Then another pharmacist gets on the phone and claims that they have been doing it wrong for 2 years and now its correct . They claim that I'm only allowed a 15 day supply . I immediately call my insurance company and they tell me that there is no reason they cannot fill a full 30 day supply .I call the pharmacy back and their response is to have my insurance company call them . Really ? How lazy are they ? What the heck is there job ?I am transferring the prescription immediately.So if you don't want a pharmacy that fills your prescription wrong for 2 years as their own words claim . Stay away from this place !

They treat you like Shiite! I have a chronic lower back pain. Basically my spine is slowly deteriorating. I've been on the same meds and dosages for three years. I had switched to Nipomo cvs because they were more consistent of having preordered my meds. On occasion my doctor forgets and sends a prescription to nipomo Vons pharmacy. Yesterday I went to pick up my prescription. The staff was all there. They were doing regular work including the dirty blonde older woman working the register. With two people ahead I figured I'll wait. The first guy kept asking questions and took about 7 or 8 minutes. The guy just ahead of me was up. He took about five minutes into helping him the employee looks passed him and says "we are closed! I have to go to lunch!" I said "wait a minute. I've been standing here in line before the scheduled lunchtime and for at least ten plus minutes " . She repeated her rude remarks. I said "you saw me here in line and could have said something. The pharmacist looked over at the line, at me and could have said something, yet neither of you did. Add to that , I was in line with ample time for you to fill my prescription. Don't you feel responsible to either notify the only other person in line that you are not willing to help them". She muttered under breadth "I have to eat. Come back later". She use to be polite, smiles a Rosie disposition. Now mostly she's a rude, toxic woman. I will be filing a formal complaint. The service at Nipomo Vons Pharmacy has severely deteriorated over the past five years. Corporate needs to know. The public needs to know.

They still haven't earned another star. The people who work there are mostly okay. My current beef is that they only have a few of the small carts, which are VERY popular, especially if you're short like me and rarely buy more than a few items at a time. I asked an employee why they never bring them up from around the lot and he said that they're harder to gather together than the larger ones so it's pretty much a policy to just leave them scattered around. Vons: please demonstrate some customer service and get more of the small carts!!!They still have that picture of beautiful sushi but at least they actually SELL sushi these days, although the quality is very poor. You want good grocery store sushi? Go to California Fresh Mkt. Almost restaurant quality.Avoid the meat section! Every time I cook w/ their beef, an amazing amount of water comes off of it. It's almost impossible to brown because so much liquid develops in the pan. What's up with that?You want good beef? Go to La Placita on Orchard or Central Market down in Oceano. They both have excellent meat markets in the back of the store with an amazing selection of cuts.
