Such a nice man!!!!! He takes care of all my personal & business tax..when I wasn't able to get through to the IRS on their website to make a payment for an extension, or to the state on their website, I panicked and called Bill and he said send me the information and he made both payments for me on my estimated tax. He filed all of my personal back taxes and caught me up.

Meg. Received a letter in the mail the other day stating that my taxes had not been filed for 2016, which is the first time I have allowed anyone to do my taxes other than myself due to my father recommending Meg. I never saw Meg but apparently she was the one handling the transactions. Once my paperwork was done I never received a phone call to pick any of my paperwork up and it required me calling everyday for 2 weeks to finally receive a call from Aaron. Never spoke to Meg and don't plan to. But you bet she nailed me for a fee on top of the regular for not picking my paperwork up on time. Thank you for taking my money and requiring me to now do all the work myself and jump through other hoops that have been created. New career path possibly?? Just a thought.

My husband and I were recommended to Meg Shields from our refinance person and we thought we were in good hands, but weren't. We felt rushed in Meg's office and thought she'd guide us through our tax process after we provided her with everything, but that was not the case. We have two properties and talked about possibly splitting our taxes for more of a tax advantage after we concluded that filing jointly was best, she totally disregarded our rental property and now says we never brought it up when asked for a break on our ammendments. Your tax person should be someone you trust who has your best in mind and it seems Meg Shields does not have this. To her, you're simply adding to her bottom line and honestly, you'd be better off going to H&R block. We tried working with her to get her oversights fixed, but she wanted to charge us more than $1000 for amendments on HER oversights. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to someone who actually cares about clients.

Had to do my business taxes for the first time ever. I've been putting it off for 3 months and was really not in the mood to do them. Scheduled a appointment at 10am on Tuesday and was very surprised on how easy it was. The gentleman that helped me was VERY professional and honest and helped me with my very first business taxes. I recommend anyone that needs their taxes or employee to come here. Thank you again!

Very friendly service, I loved coming. It's was a great experience. I usually do my taxes online, but decided to have them done professionally this year. I was slightly apprehensive at first but don't regret going at all. It was great

I used Meg last year for my taxes and was beyond happy but this year not so much. I called and booked an appointment. Three days before I got a call from a different number trying to confirm the appointment. I work two jobs equaling over a 12 hour day on the day they were contacting me. When I finally get to my phone I have three voicemails the last one saying my appointment was going to be canceled if I didn't call back. So I call back, no answer, and I leave a message they claim to never have received. Next day I start work before they're even open and in the middle of a client I get yet another call. When I answered I requested not to be contacted via phone call because I am rarely able to answer and last year I didn't have to jump through all these hoops. I made an appointment and that was it. I understand it sucks when clients no show an appointment but that doesn't make it okay to harass them and threaten to cancel their appointment if they're too busy to call back. Apparently that was too much to ask and I was told that's just how they do things and my appointment was canceled. Luckily I found a better service just down the road and was also told a lot that Meg had me claim last year was ILLEGAL. Wow glad I haven't gotten audited. Needless to say I'll be going elsewhere and have told all the referrals I sent her this year to go to my new guy instead.

Well when I got audited and contacted her after being a customer of hers for 15 years.. I was basically given a run around with really being able to get info or anything done by Meg Shields.. sad Meg that after all these years you turn the blind eye to me since I've payed you almost $400 every year for the last 15 years.. I will not be going back please if you do go make sure your ready to hold onto everything that you have make sure she gives you all records of what she writes off.. lesson learned the hard way.

Meg at Bill's Tax Service is the Enrolled Agent and may be an okay tax preparer based on other reviews, but Aaron Coe, also in this office, is an inexperienced, unprofessional and seemingly immature tax preparer, who cannot seem to accept his lack of knowledge. Please see my full review on Yelp to fully explain the most unpleasant and VERY COSTLY experience my husband and I had with Aaron.

My husband and I were referred to Meg a few years ago. We are definitely pleased with her and Bills Tax Service. Meg knows her career very well and take time for each client. Would not consider anyone else to trust our lively hood with. Thank you Meg, from, John and Janet
