Paid over 50k on a truck with two trade ins to have a truck with numerous times breaking down and my truck sitting at the mechanics with no answers on what is the cause of the engine/electrical codes. Sold me a truck without my knowledge was modified and didn't disclose before the purchase. Now fast forward for the past year I have been to numerous mechanics and the gmc dealership they can't fix the issue. They sold me a lemon and will not make It right. Only thing they told me was to do a buyback with them at a lowball offer so I can lose more money . Already reported them to the BBB .

It's not the greatest experience already for the first time ever going through CarfaxI do not recommend you do an Express pickup test drive your car inspect your car inspect the tires and then the other thing I recommend is take it to your local dealership whichever make your car might be and have the vehicle fully inspected because to be honest this whole 172-point inspection they sell you on it passing is not true and a Vehicle inspection list was not provided for my own recordI was trying to buy a Lincoln MKZ Hybrid soon as all paperwork was done in sign the car wouldn't even unlock it wouldn't even turn on it was just dead so I don't know what kind of inspections are done to these vehicles but if it's something as simple as the battery dying and them not checking to make sure your car is safe to drive before you leave is not only a huge liability & disappointment but also very unprofessionalDon't be fooled by the pictures you see on their website because when I got there the car had lots of scratches lots of dings the paint is not that not the best and not the worst of condition and needs waxing and needs some correction, i understood that they're used vehicles but there's a reason why they don't list the condition on a scale of 1 to 10 for the interior or the exterior and at a price of $21k when it's realistically a $14-$16 kbb value but u pay for the included warranty and extras that other dealers wouldn't offer when u drive off the lot!My whole experience was not that great now. I'm stuck with a loner. They gave me all weekend until Monday(Ikr better than nothing) to see what they tell me! basically messed up my whole plans for the weekendI will update this coming week what ends up being, what the problem and the solution are, and how I was compensated for my time & money wasted!Update: 10/9/23, So it was the battery that was dead on the car! Which you'd think to pass a 172-point inspection they check this before letting you drive off with the car for safety reason right! ?♂️ especially if these car batteries aren't being maintained on a charger!I received no compensation, nothing for my 3 days of waiting for something that should have been done since before I tried driving off with the car! Yea I got a loner, but that's it! It's not the greatest impression! But they replaced the battery! So all is good for now!Because of that I will updated to 3 stars

I referred my husband to buy a Tesla at this location, and ended going there for my appraisal. I wanted to just sell my unneeded car, and so I went back to this location. The salesman told me that I was scheduled but when I got there, nothing was scheduled. I checked the scheduling board and my name wasn’t there.They treated me as a walk in and since “everyone was busy,” ended up waiting almost 90 minutes for just the appraisal. Originally, they offered me an amount back in June 2023. I assumed my appraisal would be much less since they would have to re-appraise the car. I ended up leaving after getting neck pains from sitting there.Today, I took my car to the Carmax Ontario. It took less time selling my car for more than double the amount Carmax Norco originally appraised my car back in June 2023. For anyone who doesn’t have an appointment, if your name isn’t on that board, take your business to Carmax Ontario. Don’t waste your time here and get more for your trade in, just wanted to spread the word.

I went to the CarMax in riverside and left disappointed but when I came to this one it was the total opposite. Their customer service was excellent, 3 people were helping me with the process and they were all wonderful. Shoutout to Ryan,Nathan, & Joshua for assisting me. After being in a total loss and looking for a new car with a reasonable payment CarMax did have great options, the vehicle itself was taken care of & I appreciate them for washing it & putting gas on it before we took it. The only downside of the process was that they needed my physical social and I was not prepared for that, had to drive back home (mind you I live two hrs away) So just make sure you have documents ready so you don't have to go back & forth. Only reason for coming here was because my parents live in this area and my dad was helping me co-sign. Either way Nathan was able to take us right away after I had my information and I appreciate that so much. Overall , I am happy with my purchase and for their warm service.

I sold my 2016 high mileage Mazda to them and got a very fair price. The salesperson was friendly and efficient, and the whole experience took about 3 hours. I walked out with a check in my hand. I'd use them again.

Do not come here. Any other location is better. Poor service, lost a ton of money with a vehicle bought here. Never again, go to either a different Carmax location this is my third time purchasing from Carmax, no issues at the Monrovia location I would suggest going there.

Prices are a bit in the low ball (occasionally).But for the service, friendly and kindness.They are not pushy and demanding or annoying.CarMax is a great dealership.

Do not buy car from here !! They tricked us to buy a car without good conditions. In a document that we’ve signed a car was perfect!We bought a 2021 Accord for 3 months.We brought a car to check with them because tire sensor had a problem, after that they fixed it, along with checking out a weird pop-rock sound that can be heard when we initially turn the ac/heater on, they then confirmed that our car was perfect! We’ve been expecting that we will use this car for long time.Now ! AC didn’t work in summer first, we thought it isn’t big deal we went to auto zone to get freon to charge the AC but they didn’t sell to us and said “it’s too early to be having AC problems in this vehicle”After that we called norco carmax and tried so hard to make an appointment to fix it but the earliest available was 3 weeks later !Me and my husband went to norco carmax again after we got the date for our appointment to talk about this situation. We met Stephanie( she is manager here). She is the worst person that i’ve known in my life. She just kept saying that her mechanic already did everything and confirmed the car was perfect!Then she had forced us to go to another Honda dealership to check out what was wrong with the car!! And We have to spend our money without it being our fault!So we went to Honda dealership then I had asked them if they cando a full diagnosis for our car because we don’t trust carmax anymore!Then the result for AC is one part is gone/missing another one is damaged! Also, the breaks were worn dow far below CA STANDARD! (But the mechanic at NorcoCarMax said they had a carmax standard that was below the CA standard)After everything we’ve been through, we called Carmax customer relations, and they said they will help us but the same things are nothing they can do!My husband called and went to norco carmax so many times that We’ve complained about this situation. Manager here are so rude name “Stephanie&Steven”They kept saying nothing they can do! If you want to do something you have to wait and Use your own money for pay it first ! Even we have Max care.They didn’t take any action ! For this. It makes me wasting my times we both have to work a lot to save money to buy this car !Wasting my times ! Disappoint ! Terrible service !!I will tell all my people that I know don’t buy any car form car max anymore !

Sad to say we received pretty poor service today. Our rep seemed like she was having a pretty rough day and wasn’t interested in our questions or our interest in vehicles at all. I’d advise if you’re interested in Carmax’s 24 hour test drive program to steer clear of this location. According to our rep after partnering with her manager you are unable to do a 24 hour test drive unless you run your credit for finance options (terrible idea given the current interest rates) and they don’t consider if you’re opting in to pay in cash. It felt as though they were saying we weren’t “committed” enough for them to allow for a 24 hour test drive. Seems a bit discriminatory and honestly a pretty shameful sales tactic.

The ambience was nice. The branch was clean. Most of all, the staff are friendly and attentive. Smooth transaction. No fuss. No haggling. They offer Carmax Care for 5 years or 150,000 miles. You have at least 4 banks that will work with you and you can choose the most comfortable monthly payment you can afford. Warranty is up to 90 days and you can return the car within 30 days for whatever reason... no questions asked. I wanna commend Nadia who helped us all the way. She explained everything clearly and was very patient with us! Met Trish who made us feel at home. We purchased a 2020 Toyota Corolla and we are very satisfied with it! ?
