“I contacted Jennifer about a pet and she called the foster family immediately. She seems very busy so from then on I communicated with the foster family. They have been wonderful and even checked in on him. The visit from the prior family helped put his mind at ease and he opened up to us after. we are happy with our experience. 1000x better than dealing with the shelter.”

“I.C.A.R.E. and Claudia were a pleasure to work with in finding my new BFF, Maggie. Enough information was provided to me in advance so I could make an informed decision whether or not to meet the dog in person. Happy tails, Maggie was the right dog for me.”

“We often frequent the Ontario USO. Typically great volunteers who are attentive to our needs. Fun play area with ping pong and other table games. Option to relax in Spacious rest / lounge areas or a spacious tv room. Good snacks and sometimes volunteers can prepare sandwiches, hot dogs or chili. We always make it a point to visit the USO if time allows”

“Great food bank sources for non profit churches and food pantries when items are available. Unfortunately, more wealthy counties locations get the better stuff than the more needy folks overall. It's not FA's fault, it's the donors. The poor get the fewest donations.”

“It’s a cute little place to take oil painting class. I’ve been wanting to do this for years, now that I have I can keep on painting. My class was $60 for like 4 classes. The teacher was hovering over me like a helicopter, but she was nice. I’m glad I took the class I learned a lot.”

“I actually went to the thrift store that is associated with the church and there were plenty of deals. The atmosphere was great and they also have a food pantry for anyone in need.”

“My wife and I stopped by Lodge 2045 after a day of sightseeing in the area. There weren't many people in the lodge when we first arrived but we had a nice chat with the bartender. Eventually other members wandered in, we were introduced as visiting Elks, and we had a very nice time talking with a few of the members while we had a drink or two. Sadly we didn't get back for a second visit before we had to leave the area, but if we're ever back this way you can bet we'll be stopping by.”

“One word: BLESSING!! Building Bridges honestly were the best agency from day one. Before making our choice, I shopped around and let’s say they were the best! Violet and Annette where patient with all our questions and helped us with all the information we needed to get everything done. Our social workers throughout the process where amazing! Yessica, Sabrina, and Jennifer, always helped in every way they could. They were the best and helpful as always. Our workers were so great throughout our process that I would not have been able to stay on top of my children’s needs without them. Building Bridges always went above and beyond for my children and for that we are completely grateful for them. Victor and the staff really do care about you and your children they listen and pay attention to detail. During the holidays they make the children feel so special and loved. If you are looking for an agency, this is the one. I found the family I have always prayed for, thanks to the Family at Building Bridges!”

“A pigeon flew straight into the window head first and plopped down in shock. Took it to sunshine haven and they cared for "her." Said she would be fine and back into flight in 6 weeks. What a relief!”

“I came here for a Radolescents show and wasn't sure what to expect. I did almost a decade in the US Army but had never stepped foot inside an American Legion (or a VFW for that matter) before so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Post 289 is located right on Buchanan Ave in Riverside but it might as well be Corona. Post 289 has its own parking lot. It's not very big and there's no markings for spaces so you just kind of go with the flow. The show was outdoors in their spacious patio. While inside I definitely observed that there were a lot of regulars. This is like a neighborhood watering hole but one in which you'll need a membership to access the cheap booze. That said I never felt uncomfortable or like an outsider. The folks there were very friendly. The show itself was great, especially the Radolescents playing their classic Blue Album in its entirety. Sound was really good and I didn't need my earplugs because it wasn't stupid loud. Casey Royer and Rikk Agnew were hanging out with the crowd so it's felt like an old school punk rock show. Unfortunately one guy was very much over-served and was probably annoying some of the bands. Would I return to Post 289 for a show? Absolutely. They have them sporadically but you have to kind of get lucky. I found this show by accident and it wasn't promoted very well (hence the unfortunate low turnout). As a matter of fact Post 289 has zero posts on their IG. Maybe Facebook is better (of which mine is deleted). Until next time, Post 289!”

“The closest one to me. Still, the office is clean, and everyone is efficient in what they do. I'm in and out. Even when there is a line it dwindles at a reasonable rate of speed. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and quite welcoming.”

“We came in for dinner and had the fish and chips, which was great. The atmosphere and patrons make you feel like you’re hanging out with friends and family. We felt welcomed by everyone and had a great time and found ourselves singing along to the music and the bartender was super sweet and attentive. We checked out the monthly calendar and found they have so many events coming up. I promise we will be back and I can’t wait.....”
