BAIT AND SWITCH, I’m surprised this place hasn’t been sued yet with the reviews all saying the same thing. Get a price in writing and will up charge you more when paying. The responses on all the reviews “are concerning by the owner” yet nothing has been done yet. Should definitely read the reviews before coming, first time I did my services here I was okay with maybe under quoting cause it was a mistake but the second time? Luis remembered me and apologized from the first time, I pick up my vehicle and they charge me more than I was quoted? I requested a call back from Luis and I received nothing back, I guess he took a longer lunch since I never received anything back. Take the few minutes of driving and just go to Fritts Ford in Riverside at least they honor their pricing and won’t bead around the bush. Confirmed customer

I have owned 3 Ford Explorers in the past 20 years. And Hemborg Ford is the only place I trust to take care of me. Not only does Hemborg take care of my Fords, I have actually brought by kids vechiles in for service and they own a Dodge and Honda and have taken care of them also. And each and every time I have gone to Jose and he has helped us out.

Hello I just wanted to thank Luis Castillo, Service Consultant and the staff at Hemborg Ford for the great service I received. I had trouble getting my car serviced at another dealership and Hemborg Ford stepped in and fix my problem. Thanks for being an honest dealership. N Martinez.

This place might be a good place to buy a "NEW FORD" but everything else avoid don't even get any packages you'll probably never see the items or ever hear back from anyone at the dealership! I believe this place could get better but that involves Robert to take his job seriously, and stop with his dismissive side comments under others posts "will review situation" sure you are Robert how about we take this seriously!! money doesn't grow on trees, people shouldn't be getting their cars back damaged or not having the issue resolved, people shouldn't be getting surprise bill cause you think "that doesn't look right" and you double their estimate. Staff should be trained for the long run of any business if people are being told to wait when "no loaners are provided" last I checked not all fords are cheap what kind of customer service is being provided. You're here to help service the community if you can't do that you'll surely not last and that's a guarantee!!! ROBERTS BOOMBASTIC SIDEEYE

The 4 star rating this dealership has must not be due to service given. Do a better job of training your service advisor techs. We brought a vehicle in for warranty service repair. Jose was extremely rude and was extremely combative regarding the situation, questioning if my vehicle was under a factory warranty or not. We had to do his job for him and run the VIN through fords website to show that yes, the vehicle is still under Ford Powertrain warranty.

Was looking to buy my new truck online to get the best deal. I was helped by Selena in internet sales who not only met, but exceeded my expectations! Was very quick to reply to my emails, texts and phone calls to set up our deal. Was also dedicated to my customer service to make sure the vehicle I was getting fit my wants and needs. Helped me to select the perfect truck, and knew her product well! If your looking to get a great deal and best customer service when looking for a new or preowned vehicle. Ask for Selena in internet sales and you won't be disappointed! Thank you again Selena!!!!

Horrible experience with Evelyn Diaz at the Hemborg Service Center. I brought in my F-350 because my windows weren't working. She said it would be a day. Come to fine out she needed 3 days and she was able to quote me. I thought the price was decent so I stopped by to approve the order. Her manaer then told me the price estimate was wrong and he doubled my price. I then had to pay it to get my truck back. They were suppose to order a BCM in June. It is October now and no update. Not from Evelyn or the Manager. Also, Evelyn does not answer when I call. This place is a scam be careful.

Absolutely happy with this dealership. They've always taken very good care of me even when I come in without an appointment and even when I've come in to just ask them a simple question. Great stuff!

Purchased a 2021 Explorer fromHemborg ford back in May with less than 24,000 miles on it. Needless to say, we have had to take it back several times. Our service advisor (Evelyn) has been very professional and understanding. However, each time we have picked up our car there has been tools or parts left in the inside. This past week when we picked our vehicle up we noticed that the driver seat side panel had been broken as well as the door panel scratched. When I had the service advisor as well as the manager come out and look at the damage, the manager could care less. No apologies, just we will order a new one. Evelyn was a apologetic and confirmed that the damage wasn't there prior to the car being serviced. The manager just said that this happens sometimes when the mechanics get out of the vehicle. Personally I have never tore a side panel off while getting out of a vehicle. Just a warning that they won't take ownership if they damage your vehicle and could care less.

ITS A LONG REVIEW BUT ITS WORTH THE READ.I scheduled an appointment at Hemborg Ford service 4-5 days in advance for an "engine coolant over temp" alert, on a cold start that caused the "engine" check light. I was informed there would be a $175 diagnosis fee. When I brought my vehicle in i told the assigned service rep (Jose) that the vehicle is still under warranty and i have documents to prove. Later, he said that the diagnosis fee is now $185 and not to worry because if issue is under warranty then they should cover fee. Not okay, because i purchased the highest and most expensive "bumper to bumper" warranty available when i purchased vehicle brand new from a Ford dealership, why should it cost more if going through warranty. Jose then stated that warranty process takes more time to get vehicle back because all expenses has to be paid in full before vehicle is released and that warranty always tries to negotiate price with service center, i can see why.Id have to leave my vehicle there but he wont be able to diagnose it until 3 days later, then why schedule me 4-5 days in advance, i wasnt a walk-in client.I get a call 3 days later and Jose tells me that a tech saw evidence of rodent activity and this isnt covered under warranty, and to assess the problem it would cost me another $1,628 out of pocket. That price is not even to fix, thats just an additional "diagnosis fee." I relpied i cant proceed further with service because thats a whole lot of money without even knowing the end cost. I was then informed that this typically cost another $2,430 parts/labor. Thats a whopping $4,243. I said to stop any further work, ill take my vehicle back and think about it. He said he will just need to get started on release paperwork and give me a call back. A day goes by..... no call. I call in and i get run around, he's with another customer, no pick up (answer machine) and finally he said "still working on release" and he'll call. Next day, I avoided calling Jose and spoke to someone else, they said my vehicle is ready for pick up. I come in to pick up and assigned rep Jose tells me he's still working on release paperwork and to wait in waiting area. Waited and waited then went outside for fresh air. Luckily, a mechanic walked by and noticed i was waiting a long while (over an hour) and asked if i had a vehicle here and to see service #. He went in and 2 minutes later Jose comes out and says finished. Thanks very much to that mechanic that noticed. Who knows how long i wouldve waited. I go in and Jose says, that will be $185. I said, i thought that price was if going through warranty but you said this is not covered, shouldnt it be $175. Reluctantly, agreed to honor $175. Finally got vehicle back.I took my vehicle next day to another auto repair shop. They said i had 2 engine sensors that went bad and they can have it done day after. They did not ever mention anything about "evidence of rodent activity." They finished fixing my vehicle and gave it back faster than Jose at Hemborg Ford to just release it. And, the auto repair shop fixed my issue for LESS than the cost of Hemborg Ford service center "diagnosis fee" of $175.My truck has been driving great.

I've been a customer here for 10+ years, and their service was never an issue for me until now. I took over 40 of my vehicles here. Ever since their management changed, it's been nothing but problems. They would have our vehicles in and out of their service department within a week. Now everything takes twice as long, and it usually has to go back for the same problem a week later. They used to have really good communication, and call to give you updates. Now they purposely avoid your phone calls or forget to call you back. I've had one vehicle there for almost 4 months now. We took it in for a check engine light. The vehicle is still under powertrain warranty, but somehow every repair they have done on it so far "doesn't fall under the powertrain." It's now cost us over $4000 in repairs, and they still have not fixed the issue. Every time we bring it in it's something new. It's been an absolute nightmare dealing with these folks.

Typical Ford dealership these days. Once you're in and buy, they don't want to know you. That's Ford all around now. They used to be dependable. I got misinformation and it could've been a big problem for me, just so they can make the sale. Very disappointing. Good thing it got 2 stars, only for the truck itself, not the professionalism of sales department.Update: Rod gave me a call on my issue. He made total sense of what happened when I bought my truck. I know a lot more about my truck now then when I bought it. Tough times in 2020. But I appreciate the call back. Goes a long way. Thanks
