The HOA had cracks in the asphalt that other vendors were not able to fill, but Action was able to address the underlying issue and we haven't had an issue since.Service: Road construction

It was undoubtedly a pleasure working with Action Asphalt. I work for the City of Elk Grove and we had a small-scale trail maintenance project to restore and extend the life of one of our trails. Maintenance consisted of AC repairs, crack seal, and one layer of seal coat. Each phase was completed methodically and promptly to ensure the best quality; additionally, all tasks were finished within an optimal time frame. Areas were protected as needed and the seal coat, which required the most care, was well maintained to not allow traffic until work was completed. Their quality of work was phenomenal, and every crew member knew what they were required to do, making for smooth working days. A superintendent was always available on site to speak with regarding any work being done.In addition to the exceptional workmanship, the main reasons for such a great experience with Action Asphalt is due to their excellent communication and their willingness to provide the best possible service for the City. Action Asphalt was also very flexible and willing to work with scheduling changes, making it easier to provide proper public notification.All in all, we are happy with the results and residents too have provided positive feedback regarding the work. I would highly recommend this company and look forward to possibly working with them in the future as more trail maintenance projects become available.Services: Asphalt paving & repair

Just wanted to take a minute to detail a great experience I had with the team at Action Asphalt. I called to have the asphalt surfaces on my commercial property looked at in Sacramento. The front desk was polite and professional, I was told an estimator would get in contact with me shortly. Within minutes I received a call and we set up a time to meet. The estimator was knowledgeable and clearly explained my options to address our pavement issues. I did get a few other bids, I was NOT looking for the cheapest work, I wanted quality, so I went with Action feeling they would do the best job. Once scheduled, their crew arrived on time and knocked out the work in just one day! I have a ton going on and they handled everything for me and made the whole process smooth and easy. Really impressed by the whole team and the operation at Action Asphalt. Good people all around. I imagine working with them in the future. Thank you!

Action Asphalt has worked on a few of my properties in the past. I am a property manager in the Sacramento area, and am very aware of what a quality project entails. These guys did a great job and were very attune to the individual needs of each of my properties and their respective tenants. They know how to work around different tenant's schedules to make the job as smooth and painless as possible for everyone. During the bidding process they are very knowledgeable and helpful with developing the scope and educating you about the different solutions for pavement. When it comes time to complete the job, they have excellent communication with emails and calls updating you throughout the job. If you are looking for a paving, sealcoat, or concrete contractor give them a call.

Being a business owner myself, I know how difficult it is to run a successful company and keep all your clients happy. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Action Asphalt and their ability to make clients feel like they're in good hands. They are the real deal. My property was in dire need of some repairs and a facelift. They came out and educated me on their process and what recommendations they had for my property. The proposal they gave me was fair and competitive, and their expertise implored me to go with them. When the crew showed up, they all knew exactly what to do. It was like watching a well oiled machine! Seriously those guys were great. Overall, I was really impressed with this company.

This is strictly based on customer relations and the poor follow up ability of this company. I called 3 separate times to get an estimator for a significant job including asphalt replacement and seal coat. Was told an estimator would call me within 24 hours. Never heard from them once. I cannot comment on the work this company does but their follow up definitely needs work.
