I was interested in purchasing a chair from this company but wanted to first see it in more detail since the image on their site was blurry when I tried to zoom in to see the fabric quality (the Wassily chair in cowhide). When I called to see if I could come by to see it I was told I could not (I even offered to do so COVID-safely from my car or at a distance with a mask on). I then asked if they would be willing to waive the 20% restocking fee if it turned out not to be a good fit for my home and I needed to return it; they also declined. So I wrote to their customer service email address and never heard back. Very disappointing. I can't imagine running a business in which the customer can not see the product in advance and they have to lose money on the possible return. They wouldn't even let me pick up the chair in-person (I live in the area), they wanted me to incur the shipping costs unnecessarily. Unbelievable. Don't waste your time. I ended up buying a similar chair from Eternity Modern. They at least offered free shipping.

I ordered my barcelona chairs on Friday morning and they arrived in perfect condition the following Thursday morning. Superb packaging and shipping from CA to WI. Really nice people both at D & L shipping and also at Advanced Interior Designs. It did take me two hours to unpack the two chairs and break down the boxes. I ordered the camel color and I would say it is darker, between a khaki and cement. I love them and would recommend these chairs. I highly recommend AID, as well! I will be back for more furniture :). Thank you!

Just moved to California and needed a chair for my daughter's room. After much searching found a chair (that turned out to be discontinued stock) from Advanced Interiors. Robert was very helpful and everything went smoothly. My daughter is in love with the chair and it is beyond comfy. I definitely plan on making more future purchases from this great retailer. We ordered 3 chairs from them a few months back. All of them were great, but one of them broke within a few months. I sent them images of the broken chair and they sent not only 1, but 2 replacement chairs, free of charge. And the chairs arrived within 10 days of my initial request.

I have been working with a gentleman named Robert at Advanced Interior Designs and I have to say I would highly recommend both AID AND Robert. Not intentionally, but I had such difficult requests and questions and Robert came through each and every time over the past week. Both were amazingly pleasant to work with and I got exactly what I needed. At no point was there any difficulty, other than on my end.

When the delivery the chair I'd ordered online, the Le Corbusier LC1 Sling Chair in Pony Hide, was delayed, AID called and gave me the option of cancelling my order. I decided to wait. Once the chair arrived, Robert was fabulous in helping me online, as was the a woman (sorry, didn't get her name) I spoke to earlier. He went more than the extra mile to make sure I'd be happy with the chair. It was worth the wait! The chair is perfect n my modern condo. If you want style without DWR prices, check AID out!

My wife and I had great experiences here, and highly recommend AID. We bought a nelson bench replica that AID advertised on craigslist for less than a third of the price of a licensed product. The bench was an incredible value, although don't expect the fit and finish to be the same as design with reach [of millionaires]. For instance, one of the bolts that attach the legs to the slats didn't line up with its hole. There are also some odd manufacturing quirks, which is probably why the bench was on super sale; there is a slight, curved indentation in the wood of one of the legs, some nail heads protrude slight between the slats, etc. None of these issues are deal breakers for us. We care more about function than finish, so we are very pleased with our purchase. I also kind of hate this hipster fixation on buying 'authentic' (translation: licensed) over-priced pieces, even when people like the Eameses wanted 'the best for the most for the least.' I think AID demonstrates this ethos far more than DWR or herman miller. The front office of the warehouse were very pleasant and helpful when we arrived. The warehouse guys allowed us to examine the bench (it comes flat-packed like Ikea), and they were very helpful in loading our car.

Jasmine and her team are so welcoming and provide you all the options to pick the piece you are looking for. They do great job with shipping. We went from searching Ergo office chairs to buying Ergo CEO High Back chairs only for a fraction of price as of non replica. They were delivered a week ago and i love them; specially the build quality. These guys are top notch they know their products. It was a pleasure to deal with them. Great quality! Great Service! Update from my last review; I made a third purchase from them and couldn't be happier! The customer service was beyond. The owner even came out to make sure the chairs were properly put into my car. Such a nice guy. Happy I gave him my business! The chairs are gorgeous in my dining room. Excellent quality for a repro. Saw the exact same chair at HD Buttercup in Culver City for almost triple what I paid!Needless to say I'm a happy customer. I attached a pictures.

Interior design is my passion. Several years ago I stumbled unto Advanced Interior Designs online store and ever since I've been collecting great pieces of furniture. Their selection is mind-blowing, much wider than DWR. No one makes better-designed, high quality furniture at affordable prices than AID. The packaging, and assemblage are of superior quality, and I've never had an issue with deliveries to New York or Los Angeles.
