Stopped here while on vacation and found some good books to bring home. Space is packed so it makes it pretty small in here (and busy!) Prices were so-so and selection goes fast. Staff was very friendly - they've got good stuff!

One of my favorite 2nd Hand stores. Great for books and always friendly employees. Items are usually of good quality.

Our donations of boxes of small items were speedily and gratefully accepted. We had collected too much over the years and, having downsized, were glad to give it to a worthy organization. The volunteers were all nice and helpful.

This is one of my favorite stores, it's small but full of surprises if you know how to search carefully, the workers are charming, very attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

The nicest people volunteer here. The prices are reasonable, not cheap. Simulate prices on Etsy and EBay , but the quality is really nice. I always find something lovely and meet someone nice, even in line. Highly recommend.

This place used to be fantastic when they first opened. Reasonable priced, and friendly customer service. Now, unfortunately, overpriced, and subpar customer service. If you are going to close early for a “private” event, you should probably post a sign beforehand and not tell customers as they are walking in that you are going to close in 5 minutes.

Nice place to shop unless unless you're in line behind, well, anyone. It might be a long time before you check out. Once I did make it to the counter, the clerk said of my $29 shoe purchase: "We can go $29 on this." (I hadn't tried to bargain.) The owner did apologize for the long wait behind a customer.

Top tier thrift shopping! Wonderfully curated and kept up.

Im all for charity making profit, but over pricing items that were donated for free is egregiously greedy. Thrift stores are not only to help the charity but to contribute to the community items that might not be affordable to the average person in addition to the environment in reusing things that may end in the dump. You’re not an antique shop and as a charity you benefit from tax breaks and likely rent and overhead from volunteers. In addition I asked if there were more rugs available as they lugged one out and one girl replies “yes we have lots of rugs!” Cheerfully only for another associate to reply grimly “oh no we cant show you them” huh? It’s not the first time Ive had an unpleasant experience at a Discovery store which I find shameful with all things considered.

This place is a lot more expensive than pre-covid.

Used to be my GO-TO! In walking distance. BUT...they just did a complete, IMPRACTICAL remodel under the misapprehension that LOTS OF EMPTY FLOOR SPACE AND NO BOOKSHELVES would make it look more "elegant." It just makes it empty, sad, and takes the thrill out of making a possible wonderful DISCOVERY! They now have ONE THIRD THE BOOKS they had. Half of them ARE STACKED HORIZONTALLY. So you can't browse a book UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO LIFT 8-10 HARDCOVER BOOKS off of it because...as one worker admitted...THEY DID NOT ORDER ACTUAL BOOK SHELVES (or repurpose the MANY bookshelves they evidently tossed. ) So if you want to go there to admire the swathes of empty new flooring...knock yourself out. But if you were hoping to have a fun exploration for unexpected treasure...the costume jewelry cases are organized. But I'M OUT! (I get it! They avoid [are ashamed of?] the word "THRIFT". Their locations are very upscale. But if I want a half-empty, minimalist, heavily curated retail experience...DISCOVERY Shop is not where I would choose to go.)

Emily is such a sweetheart as very helpful ! Love coming to this place because they donate some of their profits to cancer charities. I thankfully for places like these that help cancer charities because I'm a cancer Survivor from leukemia when I had it when I was around the age 5 or 6.

Love this place for clothing. A bit pricy but some great finds here. Designer and upscale brands for clothing. And nice furniture and houseware finds too. 4 stars for that. However the past three (!) times I've come there was a volunteer with dark curly hair (all sales people are volunteers) who was kinda loudly stating that Dr Fauchi was a fraud and can't be trusted - things like that. The last time I was there she even told (insisted) that the sweet, older women she was ringing up should NOT take the Covid vaccine (!?!) it was not safe and would harm her. When the woman sputtered and said "well I saw President Biden take it on TV. It must be safe". The volunteer said "No! That was faked! The video was doctored. He never took it". Look I know this is a charity and these are volunteers - but this is unacceptable.

I'm not sure how I feel about the staff. I'm in line for honey baked.. Tuesday before thanksgiving. Saw a white teapot in the front window, but no one is answering the phone. Perhaps staff /volunteers are busy but as a small business owner, someone should try to sell, welcome, answer questions... I'd sell the entire store out the week of thanksgiving if I had a business on the honey baked block...
