Great sober living. Supportive staff, good location, lots of amenities including a home cooked meal every night and a fully stocked fridge - all included. An on-site alano club features a tv lounge and daily meetings (not required but if you like meetings they are accessible). I can't say enough about Chandler, great place!

Great - 12 step recovery, support group meetings.121) A. A. is an education without graduation.122) When your head begins to swell your mind stops growing.123) A journey of a 1,000 miles begins with the first step.124) G.O.D.=Good Orderly Direction.125) Be as enthusiastic about A.A. as you were about your drinking.126) You received without cost, now give without charge.127) Humility is our acceptance of ourselves.128) Trying to pray is praying.129) Get it ---give it---grow in it.130) Faith is not belief without proof but trust without reservation.131) We're responsible for the effort not the outcome.132) This is a selfish program.133) E.G.O.=Edging God Out.134) Keep your sobriety first to make it last.135) I drank: too much---too often---too long.136) A.A. will work if you want it to work.137) Minds are like parachutes----they won't work unless they're open.138) What you hear and see here, stays here.139) Alcoholism is the only disease that tells you you're all right.140) If you turn it over and don't let go of it, you will be upside down.

I have visited this wonderful iconic lodge and Alano club on several occasions. It is a unique and special place for those seeking moral support and recovery. They have a sober living attached and it is evident that it's anything but a flop house. Residents I have met are friendly as well as engaging and have only good things to say about the type of program, food and the exceptional support they receive from the staff. It's a non profit so the people who work here do it because they love what they do. I have had the pleasure of meeting tbe Head Manager, Steve and this guy always has a smile on his face. He is patient, kind and very knowledgeable about recovery. The most important thing in helping people who have struggled with substance abuse is compassion and Steve as well as the rest of the staff have it in abundance.

Chandler Lodge has been played such a valuable role in my recovery and well-being. I had the privilege of living at Chandler Lodge for three years, over the time i experienced a tremendous journey along the path of recovery. This place not only instilled a 12step program but showed me how to live a thriving life while being productive member of society. Along with that I have managed to maintain my sobriety and spiritual fitness which has translated into a life I never thought was possible. This place is the best fit for addicts and alcoholics of all shapes and sizes. It forces you to become engaged in the 12 step program while showing you the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. There is no question about it Chandler Lodge is the best place to recover in the San Fernando Valley ideally located next to every major freeway and public transportation of all types. Chandler Lodge hosts several meetings throughout the day seven days a week. The lodge is a foundation And is partnered with dozens of rehab facilities in Southern California. To which they all rely on the Lodge to support them with the main goal in passing the message of recovery on to any struggling Alcoholic and addict. Lastly, this place is not for those who may not take their recovery seriously. The Lodge does periodic and random drug testing to any individuals that fail will be asked to leave immediately, which is only for the greater good for those trying to recover.
