I am an avid audiophile and have worked with many dealers. James is top-notch with regard to quality of service and integrity. Too often, dealers will try to oversell on extremely expensive interconnects and cabling, but James doesn't take that approach. He also drove to my home to set up my gear and even went out of his way to do some cable management, which was completely outside the scope of the purchase. I thoroughly enjoyed working with James and look forward to giving him additional business in the future.

James at Destination HiFi is a person that does business the right way. He is transparent and will help you identify what you will need to get the sound you are looking for. I met James a couple of years ago and from the start he was friendly and attentive. He always shows a high level of professionalism and his expertise as an audio engineer is top shelf. The Legacy Audio product will really change the way you listen to music and James has helped me tune my system in a way that I am hearing so much detail and enjoying the listening experience even more. I would recommend Destination HiFi to anyone serious about audio.

James was easy to work with and I am very happy with the result. The Coda TS integrated perfectly into my system. I can not say enough good things about the Coda amplifiers and the service that went along with the purchase. I have put this amplifier up against some costing twice the price and there was no contest. Very high recommendation from an extremely fussy customer.

This is another follow-up review on both the Legacy Focus SE speakers that I have had for about a hear now, but also how outstanding James has been on being helpful on a few technical questions that have come along since my purchase in Oct, 2019. First, the speakers. They are awesome; like no other, with an amazing soundstage. I just marvel at the stage where the music I enjoy is coming from the center filling the "stage" on each side (Yello anyone?). I have had new listeners compliment me on how great my center channel is (Legacy Marquis XD), and after they have listened for awhile and complimented me again on the great center side, I love telling them that it is not playing- that is the amazing sound stage of the Focus SEs. You have to listen to the Focus towers (mine are the SEs) to get it. If you decide you love them, then make sure James sets them up for the maximum sound stage benefit. And also be sure and get the optional additional feet as they made a big difference- and the cost was so small I forgot how much. Plus, I almost forgot the CODA electronics which are amazing and well worth it- and substantially less than many "names" you see in the high end stereo mags. Then I want to say just how helpful James is with follow-up questions after the initial installation, which he did. I have reached out to him three times, twice due to Cox Cable gear that was performing poorly and he gave me an approach to improve it. Then when I had to move my gear for repositioning, I forgot to measure the locations, separation, and angle. He knew immediately and guided me through it as I wanted to restore what he did. Want to dazzle your friends? After you get a pair of Legacy tower speakers, model will not matter and only get better up the price curve, don't tell them that your center is off. Great fun to see the expression on their faces. Then sit back and just love live music.

Was in the market for speakers and had listened to Paradigm, Golden Ear, Aerial Acoustics and several others from different hi-fi shops from San Diego to LA ranging in price from $6k to $10k. For fun even listened to a pair that were $40k. They all sounded good in their own way but nothing that really had me saying wow.... until I demoed a set of the Legacy Focus SEs. The clarity and range of these speakers really is amazing. Highs that sparkle and low that are clean and tight, these speaker punch way above their price category. Couldn't be more pleased with my experience at Destination HiFi. James, the owner was patient and professional with all my questions and I highly recommend his store. Would definitely by again from him.
