Neighbors in my Neighborhood Watch group say churches and missions are the best places to go as resources for the homeless. Better than government or city programs for helping people and getting things done. Hope of the Valley (now called Hope the Mission) is most often mentioned for being effective, although all nonprofit organizations are struggling with overcrowding and being underfunded. The Navigation Center is the first step in becoming unhoused and finding food, shelter, and clothing. A truly worthwhile organization that really needs your support and donations.

It's a joke they are unfair to the people, they lie and set people up I don't see how half of them even have a job only maybe a hand full of workers are ok the one that runs it is something else however. They are quick to kick people out and lie on them they ask people to sign papers that are blank and that the workers will fill out later who does that. They got you guys fooled though

Awesome service for re-establishing your life. They have showers and a job center. Staff was amazing and resourced my qualifications for a shelter.

Great place for the homeless to take showers if needed and for housing and job support.

They didn't do anything to help me, they said they weren't able to help me and caused me to have a panic attack and caused me to be hospitalized for a week

I'll be succinct. I think that this place is a joke. They turn people away and refuse to give them services if you don't live in North Hollywood, which is discrimination. If you want services from them, make sure you LIE and say that you're sleeping on the streets in North Hollywood like I hear several of their clients have done. The truth won't help you. Which is another red flag about this organization I think. If I ever get any significant amount of money, I'm going to file a civil suit against this organization. You just never know which homeless person might come into money. I'd love to hear their clients on the stand. Avoid this place!Terron M. Fleming@realterronIL

My friend, who is disabled and a senior citizen, needs to get a section 8 voucher. But they couldn't help her. So, I guess it is okay for her to be homeless. It makes no sense where is the help!

I became homeless due to the death of my wife. HOV is an excellent point of service for which the downtrodden can again become a value to family and community.

They don't answer phones. Don't respond to messages. Headquarters is rude. NO HOPE FROM THE VALLEY NAVIGATION CENTER.

I have dealt with the service and they seem very lenient, Im starting by scratch to play ketchup again this place is business to help me keep forwarding and plus I have income but they'll help you find a steady job two for the price of one. I tried their bathrooms and they are clean to perfect, and the area is well spot on.

Amazing place for services if you are homeless and if they can't help with what you need they can direct to to someone who can.
