CUSTOMERS BEWARE : YOU WILL NOT LEAVE GUARANTEED! ZERO STARS!
Last week my mom had the displeasure of getting her hair dyed at this establishment, and it was not a good experience. On 12/04/24, she met with Lupita and brought an inspiration picture to show her what it was she wanted. Now, anyone who gets their hair done knows that it is very unlikely your own hair will turn out exactly like the photo, but it is also the hair stylist's responsibility to let the client know what to realistically expect.
This did not happen, and it wouldn't even be an issue if there was any similarity in the results to the photo. What my mom received was nothing like the photo, but there were issues before that. For one, Lupita was constantly asking what color highlights and dye she (my mom) wanted. She (my mom) kept pulling up the picture and reminding her that she wanted something like the photo. Not to mention that during the highlights, Lupita asked her if she thought her hair could handle the process. That is without a doubt her job to know.
In the end, my mom left unhappy. Lupita didn't ask her if she liked her hair, and feeling unsure, she paid. After looking at it at home, she gave her a call and let her know that she felt that what she received was not what she asked for. Lupita told her she would call her back and let her know if they could fit her in (as my mom was leaving for a trip) or give her a refund.
The next day my mom decided it was best to get a refund and attempt to get her hair fixed at a different salon. Lupita told her that the owner of the establishment, her sister Maria, would speak to her. Maria absolutely would not give her a refund because Lupita spent a lot of time and product on her, and she could come back on 12/06/24.
This was absolutely not what my mom wanted, but out of almost $300 (a haircut was also rendered and there was no issue with this service), agreed. Before doing so, Maria told my mom that she felt like she was more upset about how much she spent rather than the results, and that she was probably used to going places that charge cheaply. That is terrible customer service. It was never about the money. It's about the services rendered.
On 12/06/24, my mom returned to the salon and spent another few hours there. The results? Highlights that were slightly toned down. She told Lupita she still wasn't happy, and Lupita told her that there was nothing else she could do because she already spent enough time and product on her, and if she did anything else her hair could be damaged and she could get sued.
Quite frankly, if they didn't want to give her a full refund, at least HALF was warranted, but be the judge yourselves in the photos I attached.
Do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I called to see prices, some lady picked up she said "hello?" I said "Hi, I was wondering how much a haircut is." and she hung up. This was said word for word because it happened 2 min ago. How rude. Since I was waiting outside at another store, I could see inside the salon. I saw the lady pick up and hang up and go back to doing a clients hair. Maybe the employees need training on manners? Seems like they are missing it.

This was my first time going here, and I'm very satisfied with the results. My hair comes down to my rib cage, and with most places saying that haircuts start at $65, I knew that I would probably be spending at least 80 anywhere I went. Lupita took great care of me and with everything it only came out to $45! Totally life-saving for a girl on a budget. I was able to get an appointment the same day, just in time for a sudden job interview.

5 stars for Laura Tirado! I have been going to this salon for YEARS, always seeing Laura. My friend at work recommended her to me, her hair was always colored beautifully and I asked her were she went. I've also referred several of my friends over the years to Laura. She isn't afraid of doing bold color, if that's what you request. She is very very talented with color, I've never had a bad color cut in all the YEARS I've been going there. Hat's off to Laura!

I scheduled an appointment ahead of time. I arrived ten minutes early but Laura decided to work on a person that was probably a friend or family. If you decided to visit MAJORIS, this may happen to you.

The best salon in town hands down ! My hair is never damaged & always well taken care of by Laura! She's the best!! Take a look at my hair! She does wonders! I can't say it enough! It's a must go! If your scared, believe me this one time & you won't regret it!

Absolutely in love with this salon I've been coming here since high school and finally decided to dye my hair with Laura. I feel like such an idiot not having it done sooner. She's amazing and her pricing is very fair. She takes her time and the waves she does on my hair always last on me. The other stylist are very talented as well I can always trust them to give me a good trim and blow dry.

I go here regularly to have my hair done. They do quality work at a very fair price. My only complaint would be that when I am the only customer there and waiting for the bleach to set in (on average I spend about 2 hours here), they leave the TV on the Spanish station which I cannot understand.
