Emily makes my hair color so beautiful!! I tried Memo awhile back after another salon really screwed up my color (and tried to convince me it looked good). Emily not only fixed the mistake of the other salon, she also leaves my hair feeling very silky - they have products that really help repair damaged hair! My friends and family all go there now too! I highly recommend Memo salon!

I've been going to Memo for over 10 years and I've always felt and looked better leaving than coming in. Emily is a master colorist and hair stylist. I also have gone to Karen who does an amazing blow dry and Kimi who is equally wonderful. I can't recommend this salon highly enough.

I love love this hair salon especially Emily who is such an angel. She's not only the best hairstylist in LA but she's also very caring and understanding. I had surgery back in 2014 and post surgery my hair was in a big knot that I had no choice but to chop off my long hair . I told Emily how I was so anxious to have a haircut and she was so gentle and understanding .

I just started getting my hair done at Memo about a year ago with Jessica! I was with another hair dresser for many many years and decided it was time to find someone closer to where I currently live. I was recommended to Memo salon/Jessica through a good friend and I was nervous but wow!!!! Jessica is an actual color/cut/styling goddess!!! She knows what's up. I leave so happy and impressed every time. Their products smell amazing and don't leave your hair feeling stuck or sticky. Everyone is nice and friendly, good vibes. Definitely recommend

This is a fantastic hair salon run by Emily. It was the first time in my life that a hairdresser actually asked me what look I was trying to project and how it matched with my personality and then took the time to execute it with precision. Both Emily and Karen are fantastic with balayage color. Love this place.

The best service I've ever received at a salon. Ever! Karen is an unreal hair stylist and I will absolutely be returning (like ASAP)! I needed a last minute trim and color before the weekend and got an appointment made with Karen A. She bleached my hair so professionally (I barely even felt a tingle) and then dyed my hair the most even red I've ever seen. She absolutely crushed it and took such good care of me the whole time. I feel amazing and look amazing and I couldn't be more thankful to her and her skills. The salon was a lovely environment and all the staff was so friendly. The amenities were luxurious and the atmosphere was inviting and friendly. Good conversation amongst good people. I really cannot stress enough that this is the nicest vibe of any salon I've ever gotten my hair done at. All in all, if I could give Karen and Memo 6 stars I would in a heartbeat. Anyone trying to get good quality hair styling in Noho doesn't need to look any farther. Thank you Karen! Thank you Memo! I'll be back!

Michelle LaGrand is a wizard with hair - both cut and color. I’d highly recommend her for natural color, especially balayage.

Every experience I have had at Memo Salon has been amazing. As a former hairdresser myself, I'm probably the pickiest of clients. Before I started going to Memo, I would bounce around, but since finding this gem I have been a faithful client for more than five years. I go to Emily, but when she's been out of town or too booked I have gone to Michelle, who is also awesome. My daughter goes to Karen and we have always been impressed with her skills as well. My daughter's friend went to Kimmie, who again was an expert at her craft. I guess what I'm saying is that every single stylist I've come in contact with has been fantastic and I continue to be impressed at every visit. Plus, they are really nice and cool people. Highly recommended.

Celine is my go to stylist! I literally don't have to tell her what to do with my hair. We decide on a length and she works her magic. Then we have fun with what type of blowout we'll do that day - sleek, volume, whatever we're feeling. The best part though is that it doesn't just look good immediately - it continues to look great as it grows in. She used to manage my short hair and has gone with me all the way to medium/long. She's super chill and always puts a smile on my face.

I went here after seeing five stars. I definetly did not have five star experience. After getting home looking at my hair I thought what a waste of money. Hard to tell it was even cut. Will not go back. Wasted 100.00 for nothing. Feeling ripped off. I definetly do not recommend this place. Unless you like throwing money down the drain.

My girlfriend makes me see Celine for my haircuts. I'm "thinning" and Celine keeps my hair looking full. My girlfriend says we will follow Celine across the country so that's what we are doing. She makes my girl happy and keeps my hair looking voluminous and nice. Celine really sorted me out and I appreciate her eternally.

I love MEMO salon for the people and their talent. I am older but it doesn't matter at this salon. They know hair, all aspects of hair, and do wonders with difficult older hair too! Michelle is my favorite and always pleases me with her coloring, trims and cuts too. They are SO nice!!

A friend referred me to see Emily after a previous cut and highlighting left my hair looking rather damaged and scraggly. No matter what shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments or masques I used, my hair always stayed dry and frizzy. The color just didn't blend very well. It never felt quite right. Emily changed all that! My hair now looks shiny, healthy and the color is gorgeous! She spent more time with me than any hair stylist ever has. She asked questions about my lifestyle, hair care regimen and was honest about what look was achievable with my hair. She explained what hair colors and highlight tones would be most compatible with my skin tone. She took the time to show me different styling techniques, showed me how to work with my natural waves, explained the differences between styling products and actually walked me through my haircut, thoroughly explaining how my new cut worked for my face shape. This was the most attentive service I have ever received at a hair salon. Emily has gained a client for life!
