Customer service is rude & gave attitude when i simply asked the parking situation. I have a tall vehicle so i cant park in garage public parking & i had a salon appointment so i would need to be parked for about 3 hrs. There are lots of limited parking there so i wasnt sure & didnt want to drive there to find out i couldnt even park. Lady said give me one moment & left me on hold for a while. I called again asking for someone else to help & she just left me on hold again. I’m not sure if i can go to my hair appointment now. Lady is russian. Why is she allowed to work there anyways?

Super friendly staff is always available to help you if you need to find something specific. They have a great rewards program with their Ulta card.

I visited the NOHO location on today, to pick up a perfume that I’ve been wanting for my birthday. My friend and I were the only black people in the store. We looked around for maybe 4 minutes, and didn’t see the perfume. I then asked an associate did they have it, and she said she would ask someone. My problem is not with her. As we waited another associate with pink hair who had already been watching us came over to see if we needed anything. I told her another associate was helping us but i asked about the perfume again. She gave us a snide look and said yea we have it, i asked if i could smell it and she said they didn’t have testers but i could always return it. I said ok and waited for the other employee to see if they had it in the back. They did in fact have it , and she took it to the front for me. My friend and i continued to look around because again i was shopping for my bday. The lady continues to watch us and made it super obvious. I decided against getting anything because for one, i don’t steal and it made me very uncomfortable. She wasn’t watching anyone else, and she didn’t walk around anyone else! Everyone else in the store was white or Hispanic. I told my friend i wasn’t giving them my business, and we left and went to another location. Every black person doesn’t steal, and it’s crazy how we were being watched and followed when we were doing what every other person was doing. It’s 2023. This is crazy.Update: spoke to someone regarding this situation, hopefully it gets rectified in store. I still wouldn’t go here again.

There was ONE helpful lady who assisted me and my friend. we are POC. she was VERY sweet, she was bigger and she asked us for help, helped us and left us alone. the girl with the pink hair? she followed us around that perfume section like we were going to pocket some of the testers. our wristlets were so tiny, we couldn't fit nothing! we had no pockets , skin was revealed due to our clothing and she still watched us.it was two other hispanic women in there , ACTUALLY putting the testers on their FACE doing their makeup and she still had her eyes on us.. people were asking the girl for help and she couldn't even do her job right because she wanted to make sure we weren't going to steal anything. we ended up telling them we didn't want our items and we went to the Lakewood mall and shopped around and purchased! no pressure or anything.just because there's videos on tiktok showing people stealing don't mean EVERYBODY steals. that really pissed me the hell off and it's not fair to me or my friend bc she's not even from LA. I had a missed call from someone wednesday september 20th. but when i returned the call it was just ringing ..update: ended up calling again and was told that they showed all of their employees a training video to remind them that's not how they run things. that's not going to change anything, those things are still going to happen because they feel entitled to allow it. i'm sick of it and i'm pissed.

The customer service at this store is horrible. We asked two different associates for assistance in locating a product. One said she'd be right back to help & never came back, the other said she'd find someone else to help us & not only did she never find someone to help us but she simply didn't assist us because she wanted to chat with her coworker. I used to work at an Ulta Beauty myself, so I know this is not the appropriate customer service. The girl at the cash register was actually very sweet, but I would still never return to this store.

This location is a disaster. The amount of random products just thrown all over the store is wild. They barely had any fragrances at all I think they had just been hit by a big theft. They need way more staff working here its very concerning.
