Absolutely loved spending the afternoon at the street food fair with friends over a Sunday afternoon. Brought my dog cos it’s also dog friendly and that was so nice. The food is just incredible and so well priced. Lots of vegan options you just have to ask them including the famous Thai coffee I love was served with almond milk. It’s a great thing to do as a couple, family, alone or a friend group. Energy is lovely here as expected. Remember to bring enough cash to buy the tokens!

Came on a Saturday for an early brunch and it was delicious.Pros:- Plenty of parking when we got there around 10am. The lot was full when we left around 1130. - All that food was so good! So many things to order and try- Really gave that fun food market feel that most asian countries do - Plenty of benches and tables available, all under shade- Bathrooms were really clean and well kept, though a bit old and outdatedCons:- Only that this is so far away from meTips: - I think $20/pp is pretty ideal. With $40 worth of tokens we were able to get pad thai, beef boat noodle soup, papaya salad, mango sticky rice, another dessert, and 1 thai tea. We were so full!- Come early! No lines, plenty of parking. When we left around 1130 things were getting busy- Be respectful and courteous. While you're there for the food, this is still part of a temple Would I come again? Yes

This is definitely my favorite go to place whenever I invite friends or family to the valley! The food here reminds me so much of the street food in Thailand. If you are looking for that coconut ice cream that can only be found in Bangkok, look no further! The gelato/ice cream shop here has coconut ice cream that tastes exactly like it! They just don't serve it inside a coconut of course. If you can't find parking inside the temple, park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk. The temple is also great and I love the various smaller shrines set up around. They are open to the public and you can go inside and pray in them.

I absolutely love this food court! Everything is outdoors, and first you have to convert your USDs to coins that are in $1 and $2 increments. Then you go to the stalls you want and pay with the plastic coins. For four of my friends, we probably spent about $60 total so be prepared.Drinks are about $3. If you go early you can get $1 skewers (but they run out fast!) otherwise they range from $3-8, and every other dish is only about $8. Highly recommend the following: grab a Thai tea, order a papaya salad, order a pad thai, one fried rice of your choice, skewers on the side, a mango sticky rice, and the coconut flavored gelato. My absolute favorite was the mango sticky rice. The rice was soooo incredibly flavorful of the coconut milk, and the pandan added such a nice touch. Mangoes were perfectly ripe.Parking is plentiful, tables are plentiful, and they are shaded. Esp when it's hot, they have water misters to help beat the heat. Very family friendly area, and the workers are all soooo nice.

The Thai Temple (Wat Thai) has a outdoor food court every weekend! I hated coming here as a kid with my parents, but back then the food court was indoors in the temple's basement and tiny. Lol! Fast forward to present times 2023, the outdoor food court is much bigger with more vendors; and attracts a diverse crowd that loves or curious about Thai food. Never been here? No worries, it's a friendly welcoming environment. Is the food good? It's inexpensive Thai street food... Just follow the crowd! My personal favorites are the mango sticky rice dessert stall. There use to be a lady name Pai (Auntie Pai) that was famous for her mango sticky rice. She's no longer here, but one can still get a great solid version of the dessert here at a good value. BBQ sticks, Papaya Salads, and Noodles are also good; my least favorite are the curries. I never tried curries that I enjoyed here, but that's just personal taste. Overall the food vendors are hit or miss in my opinion. Vendors rotate every couple weeks or so; therefore, if your a regular you'll notice your favorite food stall chef might not be there next time you visit; that is the only downside I can think of in terms of food. First timers here at the temple probably won't notice. Another challenging part is finding parking, my suggestion is find street parking;it's easier then the tiny private temple parking lot (especially when you leave/exit). Also, remember to EXCHANGE cash for tokens: the food vendors only take tokens. Bring CASH, they don't take credit cards for tokens. Have fun, bring friends!

Came here on a Sunday around 11 am. The parking lot was full but there were street parking spots available if you're willing to walk a bit. We came on a kinda hot day which made waiting in line or standing where there was no shade a little intense. Like everyone else said, exchange your money at the token stands for tokens. Between two of us, we ended up using $40 with a few tokens leftover at the end. You're able to exchange the tokens back for cash. I think this is probably to speed up the lines at the actual food stands. The temple itself is gorgeous but we didn't go inside. We decided to wait in the longest line (skewers) and after ordering walked around to see what the other options were. This was a good choice because the longest lined restaurant had you wait by the side for your food which took about 10 minutes or so because some people were ordering like 50 skewers at a time haha. The prices at all the stands were completely reasonable and everyone was helpful, friendly, and fast. I wish we got there a tiny bit earlier because the long line skewers had some that were sold out. We dined up getting bbq pork skewers, khao soi, pad Thai, Thai tea and longan drink, and fried donuts with pandan dipping cream. Everything was delicious!!!! I will 100% be back.

My friend and I love Thai food and been wanting to try different variety. Luckily, we found this place through a post in TikTok. There were many food vendors outside of the temple and you can buy their food via tokens through a cash exchange with the Token Master right at the entrance. There is no fee to enter, and parking is also free. My friend and I tried several of the vendors. It's a hit or miss, and typically the good ones are the ones with a long line or long wait. Since everything is cash only, the prices are very inexpensive. ITEMS WE TRIED:Thai Tea/Milk Tea, $2/each - Taste good for so cheap!Pork/Other Meat Skewers, $2.50/each - Very good and good size for the price.Noodles, $7 no meat, add $2 to $3 for meat - I got the Drunken Noodles with Pork and Beef Pad Seew and both were great!Crab Fried Rice, (forgot how much) - Excellent! Yellow Curry with Chicken, $11.50 - This was from a different vendor, and it didn't taste good.Mango & Coconut Sticky Rice with Ice Cream, $12.50 - This was the most expensive item we got, but it was so good!I would come here every weekend, but it's 67 miles away from me. I was just glad my friend drove me here, and experienced some of the most authentic, delicious Thai food at such reasonable prices.

Oh what a fantastic experience this was. First the logistics-- easy to get to, but parking lot fills up very quickly. Park in the neighborhood streets behind the temple but be considerate. The temple itself is exquisite-- a lot of the statues and artifacts are from Thailand. This is an authentic Thai temple, and since it is a religious structure, be respectful if you plan to enter the temple...in Thai tradition, women would not wear pants and their arms would be covered (no sleeveless), and of course footwear is removed before entry. I followed that guideline but I did notice some women wearing pants. So perhaps they're a bit more lenient. Now the food. Ok so Thai restaurants have to compete in an adjudicated competition for a spot at this food court. Needless to say this is the spot to go if you want to know what Thai food really tastes like. I mean- you'll get the typical Pad Thai noodles, but honestly don't waste your calories on that. Be experimental. My daughter got Pad See Ew (it was fan-flipping-tastic) but then regretted it because she filled up on that and couldn't sample any of the other dishes we bought. The BBQ chicken, pork and beef disappeared before I could take a picture, the sticky rice was just the perfect consistency. The barbecue pork noodle soup was a little bit on the bland side, but that is common in Thai dishes, because it's the sauces and the dips that improve the flavor of the foods. The fried coconut custard was incredible as were the fried bananas. We weren't really sure what those little taco looking things were called, but they were dessert and it was fun to watch her make it in front of us. I basically wanted to eat one of everything. I couldn't decide -- there were so many choices. I cannot wait to go back and try different things.

I'll keep this short and simple. If you want legit affordable Thai food... this is the place to be! Park in the neighborhood behind the temple and come through the gates. I lived in Thailand and the Khao Soi here is this best I've had since my time there. I also loved the small coconut pancakes. They are so creamy inside and crispy on the outside. Bring your friends/ family and enjoy good food and a day market atmosphere.

Remarkable Market in so many ways! My friends and I came for our first time on a Sunday. We arrived around 11:45 am and I wish we had arrived a bit earlier as there were already packed lines and tables for lunch time. Upon coming into the market we found the token booth to exchange our dollars for food tokens then began browsing. There were maybe about 15-20 stands set up with all kinds of unique options for skewers, soups, curries, noodles, sweets, and drinks! It was almost overwhelming...We decided to start with the longest line first for some bbq skewers. We waited about 10-12 minutes in line before getting to the front and being told that the stand was out of some of our top choices. (Instant regret for not arriving sooner). Anywho.. after a few minutes of waiting our number was called and we were still extremely satisfied with our skewers. This was the longest wait/line as most the other stands were speedy. Throughout our time here we had so much fun trying favorites and of course stuff we hadn't tried before. My favorite savory dish was a Khao Soi soup for $8!! The spicy broth was both tangy, and creamy. The ingredients were magnificent and made for a delicious and filling fix. The sweets we had gotten ranged between $2 thai teas, Panang cream with steamed rolls, and yummy thai ice cream. By the end of our 2 hour binge we were completely stuffed and had a few items left over to take home. Overall we had an amazing experience, my girlfriend and I had a lot to eat all for under $35 total. We will certainly come back as the market offers so much variety, friendly vendor service, and extremely tasty bites.

I came here for a Sunday lunch with a friend who lives in LA and recommended the market. I bought a Thai iced tea for $2, pineapple fried rice with tofu from Touch Pad-Thai's stand for $8, a Hale's blue boy with soda, and a waffle, and I also shared some coconut pancakes with green onions with my friend. The food was all really good and so inexpensive for the quantity. The Hale's blue boy was pretty sharp tasting and though it wasn't personally to my taste, I'm glad you can try it here since I had not seen it sold at other Thai restaurants I've been to. The coconut pancakes with green onions are a good option if you like both sweet and savory food. The waffle contained sweet corn pieces. The pineapple fried rice was also savory and well-flavored. There was a huge amount of different stalls and dishes sold, and adequate vegetarian options. I definitely recommend coming here if you like Thai food.

We came here during a Thai holiday so apparently it was much more crowded than usual. So things like having trouble finding a seat or some of the restaurants running out of certain food items may be a non-issue other times of the year. All in all it’s a very cool experience. We did just fine with street parking and walking a little. We also really enjoyed looking at the beautiful temple and grounds. When it comes to the food - everything was very good. I would highly recommend the papaya salad it’s made to order and you can get a sweeter la spicier version to your liking. We were able to watch as they ground together the chilies and sugar and tossed it with the papaya and vinegar. The chicken satay was very good as well. Next time, we would like to get there earlier so we can try more foods.Lastly they do function on a token system but it’s very easy to get more and we barely had to wait in line - even as crowded as it was the day we went. So if you’re new out about having leftover tokens don’t be afraid to get a smaller exchange and just go back for more later on.
