My son received a gift card for his birthday, so we headed over to Build-A-Bear. We went in the middle of the week, and to our surprise, the store was completely empty! It was a nice bonus because the staff was able to spend extra time with my son, helping him through the process of building his bear.
Once we stuffed his bear just the way he wanted, we moved on to the accessories. He picked out the cutest pair of Baby Yoda pajamas. We already have all the superhero outfits at home, so it was time for something new.
At the end of our visit, we even got to create the sweetest little birth certificate for the bear.
When we checked out, there was a special offer: pay $5 and get a $10 gift card. I couldn’t resist, so I grabbed one for our next visit!

Honestly worst customer service , we brought our 1 year old here for a birthday bear which should be $1 we couldn’t do the birthday bundle because all they had was hot pink cupcake as the accessories, and they couldn’t do anything to give us something for a boy as we have a son so all we got was a shirt and pants which everything came out to $25 and some change not to mention as soon as we started the process some young kid was helping someone else and but they had to go and get some extra items and while the other person waited with the guy she said please help them first and he said “no they can wait “ and started having a personal conversation with her I’m holding a 1 year old mind you and then some young girl with pink hair helped us stuff the bear she had no personality very monotoned no smile at all like if you don’t like your job or working with kids don’t work there or ruin there experience. So disappointing

The first visit 2 months ago was a pretty great experience but this time around the cashier was being subtly rude for absolutely no reason. As a second time shopper I think it's normal to have a couple questions there's no need to be nasty especially at a kids store. Definitely hope to never have to purchase from here again.

The experience was very pleasant, the staff is very attentive and friendly, they helped me find exactly what I wanted, there is quite a variety of stuffed animals and they are not that expensive, I think you will pay for experiences there, it is a good place to take children or give a bear to someone

I stopped by this Build a Bear last night to look for a bear I can get my nephew for his graduation. I saw a particular bear that was on sale but it said this Northridge location doesn't have all the attires so I can to see if I could swap certain items. The staff are very friendly especially with kids so your kids will have a good time here. I let my wife create her own custom bear when we first started dating and also my niece for her birthday here before. They have a decent selection of bears and accessories to choose from.

The kids had so much fun. My 5 yr old and my 19 month old both. Brandy was a veteran who could stuff and see the bears together at lightning speed!! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Fun place for a birthday party!!

Great place when you have a difficulty figurine what to gift a child. Expect to spend a que a bit though. Minimum $50 for something basic.

I haven't made a build a bear since I was a kid. Today, for my 27th birthday, I decided to make a build a bear with a recording of a birthday voicemail my late grandmother left me before she passed. Carissa was absolutely the best & made sure my recording was clear and perfect. Yes, I cried , but she made me feel that it was safe to do so. This was honestly the best experience I could've asked for. Thank you , Carissa ! You have no idea how much your kindness meant to me.

First of all I'd like to write glowing review for Regan, she went above and beyond with the creation of our Mimikyu plush. She was very interactive and made it a blast to make. The stuffing and heart, plus explanation of additional accessories made it an experience. We left very happy and with a lasting impression. Definitely would be more than happy to go to this build a bear workshop again. ✌️ last pic is a whole vibe lol.
