Vartan and his team are AWESOME. Don't listed to the nay-sayers (though I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience). We've used Vartan on several of our projects, from high-end carpet and hardwood floors, to laminate when we are doing a cheap flip. He's also great with "I've only got this much to spend...what can I get?" Trust...you will save money and get a great product.

If your looking for the biggest selection of carpet, hardwood, laminate, marbles, or more this is the place to be. I even brought in a quote that I got from another store and they beat there prices by a landslide. I eventually ended up doing about 2,000 square feet of waterproof hardwood flooring that were installed in my home. I was very satisfied with the quality of work, pricing, and quick turnaround for the job. I would definitely reccomend them to anyone that is looking for flooring.

I purchased a $4k+ carpet job from Vartan and Carpet land Mills in October 2017. I had worked with Vartan on a couple of other projects and didn't anticipate any problems but I was wrong.The carpet arrived a week later like Vartan promised but he couldn't commit to an install date. I kept calling him over and over again for a week and he wouldn't take my calls. I finally drove down to the store and he apologized and said he's focused on a sick family member.I noticed my carpet was hanging out of a van parked in front of his store. I asked him if that was my carpet and he said yes it's ready to be installed and I keep asking well whats the problem and he's mumbling something about major problems at Lionel Richie's house. I dont even entertain the conversation. More days pass and no call from Vartan and again I'm calling, calling and he's dodging me again. I dont understand the problem and he keeps making excuses.Finally, in late October Vartan says the installers will be at my house on November 2. I arrange the movers to bring in my furniture on November 3 only to be called on November 2 and be told by Vartan that the installer got into a car accident and there would be no install as scheduled...I'm growing extremely frustrated by this time and Vartan says his two best guys will work overtime and get it done for me on Nov 3.We come in the next morning and see the installers have done an atrocious job. The pattern isnt centered in the hallway, the seams are highly frayed and visible, and there are areas where the carpet wasn't stretched properly.I couldn't believe it. So I call and text Vartan to please come down and look at this horrible work his two best guys did. No answer.It's the holidays now and I'm calling and sending Vartan texts and he finally responds that he is dealing with funeral arrangements but promises he'll get back to me and fix everything after the new year.I text him in January hey its the new year lets meet up and nothing. Here it is late February and I'm still calling and texting and absolutely no response. Since then I've had two separate carpet professionals out to see the work and both have said it can't be fixed. It's so poorly cut and installed it just needs to be pulled out and redone.I cut Vartan slack because of the sick family member story and our positive relationship prior to this incident but at given his lack of response and refusal to come out and see the work im going to be seeing him in court.

I purchased flooring from Vartan thirty (30) years ago and still remember the lies that he made in order to get our small carpeting job in Reseda in 1986. I see that much has not changed since then...Sometimes you get what you deserve.

We hired Carpet Land to lay laminate flooring in our kitchen and eating room and when they left everything looked fine. However, we have since been advised that whomever they had lay the floor was NOT professional. The flooring is sliding all over the place leaving 1-2 inch gaps in my eating room, and 3-4 inch gaps under my over. These gaps appear MANY times throughout the day, and we have to kick them to line up. Not only is this troublesome and a huge eye sore, but we should not have to do it period. Then the "manager" had some one come out last week to look at it and they left shaking their head and embarrassed. They advised someone would be out in 1-2 hours to view. After NO ONE showed we called. The "manager" himself was supposed to come look the very next day between 2-2:30 but NEVER called, or showed up. He never even called to apologize or returned our calls. Now we are left with a flooring that we paid for that is sliding all over the place. This IS NOT a business anyone should have to deal with!!!
