Mother's Day weekend and only 1 employee in the entire store. Unacceptable, I asked the lone employee to call her manager, she said I can go knock on the door. Manager first refused to open the door, then finally did and starts yelling at me before I can say a word. Saying he'll be right out, there were about 10 people waiting in line to pay with 1 cashier. This place needs a new manager asap!

This is in reference to the Dollar Tree at 19337 Victory blvd. 91335 TERRIBLE service by Isaac! Honestly, I do not think he liked all the 4th of July items I was purchasing. I separeaatedal the liquid items and asked they be put in a separate bag. He chose to not only haphazardly toss the items in there, upside down and all, he managed to loosen and unscrew some of the lids. One item had clorox as one of its ingredients! The bag started leaking. He said, "Ooops, am I bad." WHAT? I told him that I personally checked each lid and they were secure. I believe he did this on purpose. The manager, who must be used to his bad behavior, came over and finished checking me out. This is not the excellent service I am used to at your Dollar Stores. Issac (Isaiah?) not sure which was his name is a horrible representative of your great company.

I will never be shopping here again. The “MANAGER” Mario let a man cut me in line. As I proceeded to ask the man why he cut me, he ignored me. The cashier saw him cut me and said nothing. The manager allowed the man to curse at me as I stood up for myself for being cut. The crazy thing is, my first thought when I walked in was wow I’ve never seen a store so packed. As a manager, the least you could do is punish someone for breaking a rule that isnt normalized in society? The man was getting so violent while screaming on my face, and as a woman, the manager was dead wrong because if it was his mother or any woman relative he has getting treated like that he definitely wouldn’t have stayed quiet. Mario is a racist because I came to him afterwards and asked him why he did nothing and said because he didn’t want to get “killed”. (HIS WORDS, my Best Friend is a witness) Wow that really speaks volumes to how he viewed 2 PEOPLE OF COLOR arguing. His mindset was literally was “This has nothing to do with me in a store that I manage.” How silly does that thought process seem? I will be writing a letter to the corporate office. Thats how serious this altercation was as I feared for my safety as well as others. 0 stars.

Today I went in for a few items and noticed a small shelf area near the register with random items marked down. There was a package of treat bags with twisters that said pack of 20 but which only had 10 bags and no twist ties. I assumed this is why it was marked .25 cents When the employee "Mario" the register attendant was about to ring it up he said it's not damaged so it's not .25 cents but I explained to Him it's missing 10 bags and the ties so That's possibly why it's marked down he said "NO It's Not Damaged so it's not this price" I then proceeded to say but it's marked .25 cents then he rudely yelled and said ok than I will Give it to you for .25 cents , I'm Not sure if the staff gets trained in customer service but if they did I believe Mario needs a refresher. If he doesn't like his job or people he should not work in retail. This kind of unprofessionalism is just simply unnecessary. I'm Not an employee of the Dollar Tree but I clearly understood why it was marked .25cents it was an incomplete package. Mario is a rude human and I'd much rather drive 5 more minutes to the Balboa location than go back and deal with that kind of attitude towards customers.

Manager Manny won't accept returning item for refund or exchange. Not customer friendly, not trained properly. Casher attitude problem, no Christmas exchange either. Will not recommend public to spend money at this store. Overall bad service.

I have been here a couple of times. The first time I hauled a lot. But yesterday, it was eh. Probably because it is after Christmas that's why not much items on display. Some shelves are empty and in disarray. The floor is free of clutter though. What surprised me are the Valentine items on display. This early? Wow I picked up a few items then went to pay. There was no line at the register. Owner or employee was in good mood. Most of the items are $1.25.

I came here tonight to get some last minute wrapping paper. It was nice that it wasn't crazy and the line was not long. The aisles were messy and a lot of items were out of place but I could find what I needed. The employee was very sweet and helpful when I asked for an item. There is a lot of parking which is nice and it's part of an outdoor plaza that has lots of stores. They had a good variety of items and it was definitely one of the better dollar trees!
