Came in for a pre workout, no greeting no asking if I needed help, when I asked for help the employees answered with attitude and almost sounded annoyed for helping me. It was two younger women. I work in retail and it blew my mind how rude the interaction was.

This place sucks. For one their customer service is horrible. Two I called first to make sure they had the exact thing I needed. They had it but I was a complete different version. They ensured me that they had it then I went there and asked and they said they didn't have that version. DON'T TRUST THEM.

The workers were rude, and the manager wasn't much better. I went in to make a return and they wouldn't do it. When I called corporate they said they should have done it. The manager was rude too.

If I could give zero stars I would. Let's talk about horrible customer service. Grace is the epitome of a joke of a representative. A liar is what she is. I was trying to return an online order after being given the run around at another store. This store is a "corporate store" & CAN accept returns. When I tried she was un accepting of the items even though I had the return slip. The liar (Grace) says she's going to call corporate instead she calls her money hungry bosses who tell her she'll take my items and trash it & give me store credit. All b******** If you want to get supplements do it from a company who gives a f*** about customer service.

The grumpy old man that works here is so damn rude! Today I asked why they didn't have a product and this guy really had the nerve to say " what you see is what you get" really? i can see fine thank you why don't you do your job and help the customers that come and spend money at your store and while I was asking him a question in the middle of me talking he just walks away. This place must be desperate for employees because this guy sucks at customer service. I was a long time customer but I will never shop here again I'll just go shop at their competitors. To whoever is in charge of this location please get rid of the grump because he's driving away customers and sales.

I have to start off by saying most GNC are mediocre , but the staff here specifically Paul go above and beyond anything required of them. Paul was extremely knowledgeable and should honestly have been an NFL trainer. I have been training for nearly 15 years and learned things from Paul I didn't know. Best GNC experience I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back to this location.

I went to this GNC on 1/18/2022 to get a refund on an unused item. The clerk, Jila asked where I purchased the item. I proceeded to tell her that the item was purchased from another store. She then said they are corporate and they could only do an exchange. I proceeded to ask why and told her that I had made the drive to her store because I was close to the Reseda area. She then said that she can only do an exchange because they don't carry all items. The item that I was trying to exchange was a Vega protein powder that is carried in all of their stores. I asked if she had the item in her store. She refused to answer and said she could exchange it. I told her that I had found the item cheaper and had never opened it. She proceed to take the lid off to verify that it was unused. After she verified that it wasn't used, she said she couldn't do a refund. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me the manager wasn't there. I asked if she could call the manager. She said no because the manager was off. I asked when managers usually get off and why there wasn't a back up to speak to customers. She told me she didn't have to explain the manager's schedule to me, which was extremely rude. When I communicated how rude she was, she immediately stated talking over me. Her explanation just didn't fly. I then left the store with the store number to call the manager in the am. I also called the Van Nuys store and spoke with their manager who proceeded to tell me that Jila should've refunded the item because protein shakes are not a specialty item that is only carried in certain store. Jila was rude and very condescending. I will never do business with this store again.

This was my first time buying something from GNC in over 10 years. Since I was in the Northridge mall meeting up with my girlfriend and decided to stop by GNC to see if they had The Rock ZOA drink which they did but only 1 flavor. So I got 1 bottle and went to pay for my item. There computer was really slow because it took a while for my item to get scan then get charge on my credit card. The lady working the cashier couldn't speak English that well but that wasn't the issue. She asked if I was a member and I said no, then I saw that my total price somehow rounded off to the next dollar. When I looked at the receipt I saw that I got charged for a livewell donation which I was never even asked about and I also saw someone member number was also on my receipt when I said I wasn't a member. I couldn't asked for a refund for the donation but I didn't want to be that person that ask for donation money back especially when it's just a couple of quarters so I just left. But I'm not planning on coming back to this GNC location again.

The manager who was staffed tonight showed a defensive posture when we noticed an item we bought was listed at one price but when we went to go pay for it the item was then priced 80% higher. While pointing this out the blonde manager gave a dirty look towards me as if I said something wrong as my wife took notice of her looking at me as such. She went to go and blame the discrepancy on other customers except she fails to not the sticker was made by GNC. The error was on her and GNC and we totally purchased a separate item instead but she was quite disrespectful to say the least. The person who rang us up however was excellent. Please retrain the management not to be hostile nor defensive towards customers. This shows a lack of concern for future revenue stability at this establishment.

I came in to exchange products that did not work well for me and made me nauseous. We were greeted with a smile by Andrew who immediately helped me find what I wanted. As the transaction was being processed their system went down on the cash register and he was very quick to resolve the issue while providing excellent customer service. He maintained a positive attitude as costumers grew frustrated and became very rude. He was the only staff member there at the time but he maintained being professional. Thank you Andrew for being courteous even when others weren't. Keep up the good work!
