Always a bonus when the item I want has a tag color the same as the color of the day especially on $1/$2 day

Racial profiling I was not comfortable shopping there. One of the staff was standing directly to where I was checking the clothes, not doing anything but watching me. Too bad, no customer relations

I just watched a young woman trying to purchase 3 blue tag items on blue tag day, where items with blue price tags are on sale for $2.49. This means the items were sitting in the store, and went unsold for at least 3 weeks, and finally they are able to sell them at a discount.
The man working the register ripped all 3 blue tags off the items and went to the back to reprice them! Absolute scam, he took advantage of her because she was nice and sweet and wouldn’t put up a fuss. Absolutely disgusting behavior. We all know they got the clothes for free! A month ago! Had a hard time selling them! And then pull this!
Abhorrent corporation just like the rest, don’t be fooled.

I'm really hard to shop for. I'll only wear black LEVI's, old Rock n roll shirts, black hooded sweatshirts, high-top, classic sneakers, and Leather biker jackets. Im also a size 30" in the waist, which is a little unusual for a guy. Unless you're 16 years old, anyway! So, I wasn't expecting much. We're not in Hollywood, where it's easy to find my style, after all. But, I liked the place! It was bigger, and it was very clean. Like an actual Department store.
This is the first GOODWILL I've seen, that's this well taken care of. They had ROWS AND ROWS of black 30X30 LEVI's, and I got two rock shirts, too! They had nice shoes, too. Just not any in my style. But, the ones I looked at, were in decent condition. They had lots of jackets and hoodies. And, I got some basketball shorts, too! ?.
The 2 pair or f jeans I bought, only came to $24.00, and, again, they were LEVI 550'S! So, that's a bargin! The other stuff came to close to $60.00. But, I SHOPPED! And found a lot of nice things!
And, one last thing!
I didn't get the Girl's name, but she was sincerely polite, quick, and efficient!
Congrats to her and the staff!

close their donation area at complete random. sometimes literally restrict donations to only one type of item. insane behavior for a business that gets tax breaks for being provided with free inventory.

Too expensive for a thrift store a blouse for 9.99, to 12.99, dresses for 16.99, a sweater for 24.99??? The same price you can get it in Ross and the clothes is new!!! Don’t waste your money in these stores. They supposed to be cheap but they’re not. Go to Ross instead

Despite other reviews stating overpriced secondhand clothing, I’d have to disagree. I found and purchased 6 items for the cheap outcome of $26. The cashier who checked me out, Kyle, was super kind when we brought up the student discount and provided a very entertaining and inviting conversation! I will definitely come back here!!!

Any one who bargain shops at the dollar stores in CA for new items at 99 cents, sometimes a little higher and also bargain shops at thrift stores like Goodwill and the Salvation Army will tell you many of these dollar store items end up there, after they have been used. And they are now over priced because these thrift stores play on the heart strings of customers who want to help the store by donating and overpaying thinking the money all goes to benefit the disadvantaged in their programs.
Many of these people in the program are put to work at these thrift stores with no professional, customer service training. Enough of them are rude, have no manners, blame the customers if there's no price tags on items, have damaged price tags, or wrong price tags. I've witnessed them yelling at customers over this..
The stores have cameras which can check this but they don't, they prefer to bite the customers hand who has feed them. And with no fact finding, they They often show up looking like they haven't bathed, haven't groomed themselves, haven't cleaned their clothes, and slept in them.
And by the way, most of the money goes towards, salaries of executives, admin, operating costs.
You're better off donating to charities that are non profit and most money goes to the cause.

Probably one of the worse goodwills ive ever been to. they were so rude and mean to the older lady trying to pay for her stuff. It was the black male night manager. Loudly in front of everyone in the store. I went outside and talked to the lady for a little while. She was so nice a sweet, and it made me even more angry that he was being so mean to her. Then i notice him standing there watching me and the lady talk with a big smerk on his face. I found that pretty creepy. He had absolutely no customer service skills what so ever. Also I walked in at 8:30pm and they told me they are closing in 10min. Last i checked thats not 9pm.
