JBL Pro makes top quality speakers at a good value and we use them heavily in our DJ and music production business. The JBL Pro products we own are made in North America and they have withstood rugged use. We have made some unboxing videos of JBL Pro speakers on our YouTube channel OHLR. Some of the negative reviews we see are for JBL (not JBL Pro) which is the consumer brand and those items are in fact made in China like most inexpensive consumer items these days. We also have a small portable JBL bluetooth speaker which works well but it is not the same as JBL Pro. We do recommend JBL Pro for professional applications like DJ, bands, concerts, and sound reinforcement.

Poor Quality. Overpriced. I just finished financing my JBL Flip 4 and the battery is done extremely poor battery life and/or memory. The speakers are now distorted. Waste of hype and money.

JBL It turned out to be a very expensive and low quality product, where the battery of my Charge 3 exploded, despite the good use and care, the JBL company was not responsible for the fact that 3 years have passed since my purchase, the situation is that for such an expensive product and of little use for this to happen, they really make one as a customer DO NOT recommend the JBL brand. Thank you

Had a factory tour. I’ve seen some posts of people talking about their quality slipping. This is not true. Their employees take the utmost care, pride and dedication into their products. Testing, research and development are number one at this facility. Samsung owns this company now. You would think they would have unlimited budget but that’s not the case. Samsung has cut everything. However the engineers, people and culture continue this brand. Pride in workmanship is top priority. Don’t give up on them.

Wish they still made all their professional products here rather than Mexico or China. Product quality has slipped but prices have increased.
