Bought a hat travel case 1-2 months ago. Still new and it’s falling apart and the guy at register told me “THATS JUST HOW IT IS” no refund or exchange. Hat carrier has LIDS on it/ don’t stand behind there logo or product. Lost a customer today

The customer service here is terrible, honestly never bothering with this place again. Don’t expect anyone to offer to help as you look for a hat or size. But be ready for the dirty looks you get trying to find your size as if you were making a mess. I did 10 years of retail in the past. You can avoid “the mess” if you do your job and help the customer find what they need.
I was at the mall walked by and figured why not get a new hat. I asked for my size on a hat to help avoid “the mess” and was told they were done helping and that they were already helping out the last customer. It was 5 mins till closing time and the register was still open. But the Fat Lazy girl couldn’t walk 4ft to help me get a hat.
Just shook my head and walked away.

I stopped by this Lids store to pick up a Mexico hat for my friend dad last minute for Father's day. I was already inside Northridge mall with my wife since she wanted to go to Macy's so we were there before all the stores officially open. Once Macy open at 11am on a Sunday, my wife went there and I waited for Lids to open. They actually had some customers waiting as well so when they finally open the gate, people rushed in. I only saw 1 Mexico hat and since they had a deal, I waited to see if my wife wanted one. She did not but looked around the store and we overheard one of the worker telling another worker that they have to get their sales number up. I paid for the Mexico hat with a worker since they can do it from their little phone tablet and the receipt is sent to your email instead of printing. They have a decent amount of hats here but it is pricey so be aware of that.

Do not waste your time going here; it's better to get it straight from New Era. I have always bought from the New Era website, and this was my first time buying a NY hat from Lids. The hat was too small, so I went to this shop to ask for directions on how to return the item, since Google mentioned that I could return it at a Lids store. The employee at the Lids store was rude, threatened to call security, and spoke in an offensive manner.If the owner of this store reads this Review, I suggest providing your employees with customer service training. You will lose customers if your workers treat them like that. Customer is king, without customer you can lose the business.Your employee is the fat female, her attitude is like Chola from the hood.

My experience , the selection of their hats was not what I expected . I was walking around even next to an employee who ignored me and asked others if help they needed. Only after I was holding a couple of hats that I wanted did the employee ask if I needed help . Too many employees at store with same shift. I also felt they kept watching me to see if I was going to steal from the store. The hats are great and fit perfect . Unfortunately they are too expensive in my opinion and recalling my experience there I see y they assume others would steal . SUPRISE SUPRISE SHOCKED THE STAFF WHEN I PAYED WITH MY CC. HAHAHA ?

Called Lids last minute for a gift idea and Chris was very helpful. He put two hats for us on hold, recommended this awesome affordable engraving, and the wait wasn't very long at all which was a bonus. Thanks again Chris for the great service. Also, quick shout to the employee in the Robinson Jersey, I didn't catch her name but she saw us waiting and was very attentive and kind as well.

employees need to work on how to greet costumers and show them respect the attitude was just too much no wonder the whole shop was empty like I’m sorry I wanted to buy something.
