Update on my prior review: Still no solution and no answer via email
[email protected] reporting this buissness to the better business bureau on Monday morning if I don't get this resolved. Was told by the sales men that the price was lowered as to compensate for the fuel...bull. Toyota dealerships are selling similar cars for the same price OR less. Not to mention the pretended to give me a deal by up pricing the amount on the signage..then "gave me a discount" when the car is only worth the "discount" they gave. Y'all are scam artists I'm disgusted at the lack of empathy the management has and the lack of knowledge. All they care about is money. And not ti mention we shook on 375 and my payments are higher than that...MAKE IT RIGHT.

I have not seen worse service than here. having the price of my car confirmed by Carfax at $12,460. they invited me to evaluate and buy my car at a higher price, or exchange it for a new car that they said was available. after I went to them, wasting one hour on the road, they met me and gave me half the price of my car and said that the car they wanted to sell to me had already been sold. it was all a lie. just to invite me to them and sell something or buy it for cheap. There was a guy named Daniel who worked there who orchestrated this whole deception. I never recommend using this deceitful service. I lost two hours and to no avail.

Absolutely fantastic Toyota dealer that doesn't feel like a liminal space meme like others I have been to. It's been a bit of an effort to find a store competent enough to handle servicing my GR Supra, but all the staff at Northridge Toyota, including my service advisor Katy, has been of the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Owning a car that is nominally a Toyota isn't the easiest (Not every dealer knows how to handle one), but the staff at NT have been nothing but transparent with pricing.

I personally like to take my time before I review something like a vehicle purchase, because any dealership will try to make you feel as good as possible the day you go to purchase a car - it’s a given, it’s how they all operate, and it just is what it is. Where a dealership really shows if they shine is post-purchase. For better or for worse, that has a ton to do with my experience here. I genuinely love my car SO much, even though I feel like a total dunce getting taken for a ride by Toyota’s crazy, almost inhumane markups on certain vehicles right now (I bought a new 2023 RAV4 Hybrid XSE back in January 2023). These markups are truly horrendous. They honestly didn’t really try to do much for me to help make up for the markup like many other dealerships I’ve dealt with. But their facility is very nice, very well-kempt, their receptionists are fantastic, and the process of purchasing was very painless. I also traded one of my old cars in toward the new, and they were great with it and made that super easy as well. Now for the missing two stars… I brought my new car back a day after I took the roof rack bars off (couldn’t have been more than a week after I bought it) since there was a defect in one of the caps for the where the bars were mounted, and that cap flew off while driving - their service and parts departments had to look into it, and eventually told me I had to buy a complete set of caps for over $100. I went to the Van Nuys Toyota the very next day and they sold me the one cap for $15 no problem. Yikes. A few months later, I sent my closest friend to this location to look at a new Corolla, and he was borderline harassed by the salesperson he spoke with, and others, because he said no when a price was too high for him. These salespeople need to remember that we are not made of money, we are human beings and should not be treated like a faceless sack of money. I was embarrassed that I referred him and likely won’t to anyone else due to this. Anyway, this is a very long review, and whereas generally, my experience has been *fine* post-purchase, and again I LOVE my car, and most employees there are simply wonderful, just certain things make me wish I had gone elsewhere. I would give a 3.5 star rating if it were available. I appreciate all who are doing good things for people there, but as a whole, there’s just something off.

I am looking for a sienna for my family. Sales rep called and told me the exact car I want is coming in few weeks from now. Apparently there is a shortage and the car needs to be reserved while it’s in transit. I was excited and told her I would give them a deposit over the phone. She transferred me Levent Tezer so I can pay. He told me there is a SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLAR MARKUP for the sienna!!!! When I asked what it is he said there are 2 fees. One is paint protection and what sounded like lowjack I told him I’m not interested in those and he said they come installed on the car. That’s a lie those are dealer installed!!! When I explained i opted out of it with all my other new car purchases he said “that’s good, good for you” I get there is a markup but to lie and treat me like I don’t know what I’m talking about is truly insulting. Some consumers are informed not everyone will pay their 7K mark up without questioning it. He was condescending and rude. He could have just said we won’t sell the car without it. Very unprofessional

We bought a used certified vehicle from this dealership. We drove over 2 and a half hours because they had a nice car at a good price and quoted us a monthly payment we felt comfortable with. When we got there just before closing they did the paperwork and the numbers were substantially higher than they had told us. We told them that that wasn't at all what we were comfortable with and they worked some numbers in to bring it down but it still ended up being more than we had hoped for and had been told originally and if we had known that before driving all the way down there, we would have gone with the car near to us that ended up being a better monthly payment. We were out of days on a rental car after an accident and needed a car quickly. But this is the reason why I am giving a zero star review and will never buy from Toyota again...We had the car for less than a week when I went to drive it and it wouldn't start. It ended up being the battery from this 2018 car was bad and upon inspection it had never been replaced or serviced. They sold us a car with a five year old battery that was completely dead. Less than a month later the brakes started squeaking. They also needed replacing. We have owned Toyota cars our entire adult lives and have never had this terrible experience. Buying from a reputable dealership was important to us because we do not have the money to put into repairs at any given time and we expect a car bought from a dealership for $$$$$ to be reliable for at least the first year. Their 150+ points inspection that they boast about means absolutely nothing. That just means they looked over the car and made sure that it was going to function long enough for a test drive and get your signature. Anyone with a brain knows the five year old battery should be replaced when you are dealership selling these vehicles for considerable prices. They were very quick to tell us that the battery is not part of the warranty we paid for and we told them that that shouldn't matter because we had just bought the car. They told us we needed to drive to them and they would consider replacing the battery. We live three hours away in traffic and have four children. If you sell someone a battery that is dead in a week you really ought to comp them at a Toyota location near them instead of taking up more of their lives. It would've cost them $150 make things right and not to get this negative review here and of business bureau Disgusted with Toyota and after 4 different Toyota cars (my good experiences were at the Orange location, by the way) we will no longer be buying Toyota. I really hope not getting our $30-$40,000 purchase every five years was worth saving money on that battery and these shit breaks.

I took my Scion after a fender bender to Hamer Toyota, this place provided good service before it was sold to a Utah group, every time I go in they find ways to charge me more and I just have to deal with the same service advisor where you feel like a second class citizen. After I use my last free paid synthetic oil change it will be " hasta la vista" forever. Luckily we took it to Northridge Toyota. where I bought this 08 Xb back in 11/07. Jeff Johnson went over and beyond to meet all my requirements, he was kind, professional and accommodating , the kind of employee that justified a dealership service charge. This is a pre mature review as a part is yet to be delivered and installed, but with the exceptional service I received, I trust Jeff.

I have been working with Northridge Toyota for a few years now. I have nothing but good things to say about it. The parts department is very efficient and gets things done. I deal with a parts person named Andree he is the best he makes sure I get everything I order in a timely matter and is very Profesional. I recommend this dealer for all your parts needs at the very least. You will be happy with your choice.

Andrey Tolentino is an awesome guy! He has helped me a lot for so many years now. Every time I needed parts for my Toyota Sienna he would get them for me right away and if it's not available he will order it and will be ready the next day or 2. He gives me pieces of advice when it comes to what I need to do if there is a problem in my van. If you need help looking for parts look for Andrey he won't hesitate to help you.

I bought a used car from this dealership in April. It was not a Toyata. I bought the extended warranty from them and was told that if I had any problems to bring it to them.I just called to make an appointment for some work under warranty and they said since it was not a Toyota they couldn't help me.I would suggest not buy from this dealership as they are clearly liars.....If someone from the dealership is willing to reach out to me and make this right I am willing to listen and work with them9-19-23 Edit,The service manager called and apologized for the confusion and the rudeness of the service writer I talked to. I have an appointment to take the car in today, we will see how this goes and edit again based on that.

I called these guys for a body shop they refer people to, in order to repair my Toyota Camry. They referred me to a body shop called Auto Stiegler, however the body shop caused extra damage to the vehicle and refused to repair it.This dealership needs to review who they're partnering with, because they are just as responsible for the damage to my car as the chop shop body shop they referred me to.Overall very disappointing, now I have to take the body shop to court, thanks Toyota of Northridge.
