“Listen, I am not a chill pet mom—unfortunately, I am not a cool mom. The world is scary, people hurt animals, and my babies have always been with me. Both of my cats are adopted, one is truly a work-from-home baby, and before this I had never spent more than one night away from them. We had also just traveled across the country, so leaving them anywhere made me incredibly nervous. When the photos I had been promised didn’t arrive that night, I went into full mom-and-unpaid-tech-support mode: clearing my cookies and cache, switching browsers, downloading the app on my phone, and wondering if I was somehow doing something wrong. When I finally called, they apologized and explained that the photos simply hadn’t been sent yet. I knew my babies were probably safe—I just desperately wanted to see their little faces because I missed them so much. Everyone here was incredibly kind, my cats were well cared for and seemed to have a good time, and they even sent us home with adorable goody bags. That kindness and reassurance meant more to me than they probably realize because trusting people with my babies is incredibly difficult. I genuinely appreciate how they treated all of us, and I will absolutely use them again.”
