If I could do 0 stars I would. Just to list a few negative experiences, because there were so many over my year in a half renting there.1) The parking lot is a mess. Your always blocked in, making it difficult to get in and out of the place2) There is one employee there, a woman who has no idea what she is doing. Every time we set up a reservation with her they reservation was not there. It caused us to not have a storage unit when we showed up with our Uhual! Turns out she saved it as a quote and not a reservation?! Then she did the same thing for our truck reservation. Since we knew she was doesn't do her job correctly we ended up double checking and sure enough, no reservation. On top of that, she talks about her personal life to you, complaining about everything.3) Juan, the manager could care less. I took the time to call him and explain these issues to him and he literally had no response. He could care less. No wonder his employees have their work ethic, its a reflection of his.4) Lastly, when I left my storage unit they never saved my exit and kept trying to charge me. I canceled online, on the app, and through corporate because they never answer there phone. I emailed him back numerous times and still nothing.Do yourself a favor and rent a storage unit from another place but here, RUN!

Horrible service find a different company. These guys made me go back-and-forth with them. Couple of times they installed my hitch with no wiring. I called them thay gave me another appointment couple weeks later then their mechanic got sick and they never got back to me. I called the one 800 number, they said the manager will call back in 72 hours. It’s been past the week I don’t know how these people operate in their business. I don’t recommend going here try Van Nuys

Customer service is okay. They will lock your storage with their own personal lock though and take days to give you access for something you already paid for.UPDATE: They informed me on the 3rd attempt that they lock it after business hours (not access hours) to prevent homeless people getting in. Just wish this was told to me before attempting to move 2 times.

First your app keeps kicking me off each time I tried to submitting a complaintWhen trying to exit the truck I placed my feet in the inner step and before being able to set one foot on the ground I slipped and fell. I was so soar that I had to keep the truck an additional day. I am still very soar! I tried many times to summit a complaint while returning the truck on line but I kept getting booted off and start all over I must had been at the parking lot over a half an hour and the people over the intercom was so rude saying I had to leave and was calling police as I was trying to finish the process of submitting the return . I’m sure if the truck had the non slip strips I would not have slipped, fell, got injured or had to keep it another day. So I don’t believe I should pay for it and additional day. Nor the fees to have it dropped off as I did try to summit it on line and I did take picture's. You can look on the surveillance cameras and you’ll see that I was there a long time oh and that I was in obvious pain.And the people over there Intercom was rude having me hurry which I would had done if Uhaul on line returning system was not booting me off and also more importantly if Uhaul hadn’t neglected to think of customers safety and applied non slip strips on the trucks I wouldn’t had kept the truck an additional day and I definitely wouldn’t be in pain!!

I went in to get my propane tank filled and they told me they can’t do it till 11.I told them on the website it does not say 11 to whatever.Not helpful at all !

Horrible service! Find another company or location to trust in! I reserve the truck days in advance and when I went to go pick my assigned truck up, it was blocked by another truck. I called the 800 number and they said that I would have to wait until they opened at 9am. Now I have movers sitting at my house with no truck to move my stuff into. Thanks for the added two hours of expense U-Haul! Please look for another company before trusting this one.

The first time I went to pick up my online order (2 moving wraps), I had shown up a week or so later than my pickup date, and was concerned because my items were marked as “picked up” online despite me not having done so. The man at the register that day told me that they didn’t have my order anymore because it was too late—he claimed that they return (to where, I don’t know) order items when not picked up for a while. I figured it was like pharmacies and prescriptions, okay, understandable, but when asked what to do on my end, he more or less shrugged and told me I need to call customer service.When I went home and did so, the corporate customer service rep (who was lovely) seemed very confused that the employee said that to me, and informed me that that is false information, and he put me on hold to call the manager. I was then informed that I could go into the store again and ask for the manager. Great! Except when I did go into the store and wait in line, the young man at the counter told me that the manager (Carlos?) was outside, and that I guess I should fetch him myself—okay. When I went up to the manager after waiting for the manager to be done helping someone else (they were swamped with customers at this time, but that wasn’t an issue for me, as I understand stores get rushes), I was met with replies like, “Okay, and?” as if he was mostly uninformed on the situation other than that I was the customer who the service rep had called with him about earlier. After holding his hand through the explanation on my situation, there was no comment or apology on his end as the manager, even though his employee had straight up given me false information and I had wasted a good amount of time (and gas); he told me to get in line again and that the counter employees will help me. So I waited in line again, only to see that my order was sitting on a rack in the back the entire time and was simply handed to me—likely having been there even on my first visit, as that first employee hardly did more than tell me false information with a somewhat jaded attitude, and never even turned so much as an eye towards the online order racks.Everyone except the other employee at the counter (a middle aged lady) who was trying her best with numerous customers and the service rep on the corporate line had a not-my-problem attitude, and there was a huge lack of a sense of responsibility. I don’t normally leave such lengthy or negative reviews ever, but this was such a singularity in my experience that I felt I should, even though it’s been a few months since this whole thing occurred.

The truck was given to us with no gas, and less than they told us it had. I reserved an appliance dolly (with straps) and was not provided with one. Service was slow. They didn’t have any utility Dollie’s and had to run around looking for them before providing us with the ones used by the employees. They did not seem to have a very good grasp on inventory and making sure people got what they reserved. I booked my items 3 weeks in advance, they had notice.

This uHaul location is a great example of how to run a business. They always get you in and out as quickly as possible, and staff is very knowledgable and courteous.I rented a van earlier today to move a couple of couches across town and couldn't have been happier with the overall experience.

The storage itself was alright and convenient. They claimed no bugs or rodents would be in the units. I found tons of bugs in mine and they seem to be hopping from other units. I had clothes put away in secure bags and those bugs chewed right through them and ate into expensive clothes. The cleaning lady always speaks rudely about customers infront of customers, she thinks just because she says it in spanish that no one will understand her, well we did and we told her to stop as it was rude af. Im sorry we are putting our things for donation for other families to use and you dont want to do your job. The "owner" Juan was rude to my husband stating they dont offer military rates (for trailers) & spoke condesendingly to him on memorial day. Only to be shown on their very website that there is in fact military rates. There has been times we needed something from storage around 8pm and their system was fully down. Manager was called and nothing ever came about. Overall, we decided to move out fully cause alot of my items were damaged by these bugs they have in their unit. Only the lady who works in the office (blonde) she was cool, I liked her.

I visited this uhaul to fill my propane tank. A very out of shape employee came to help me but was interrupted by another very out of shape employee to talk about all of the trucks and trailers in nearly a quarter of their lot that were broken or malfunctioning. My initial helper then informed me he could not fill my propane tank because it was more than 12 years old. I went to Lowe's for a replacement tank which they sold to me out of a cabinet where every single one of a 100 tanks was over 12 years old.I would not rent a vehicle or trailer from this uhaul location as it appears to me the workforce is very lazy and in my opinion this would greatly impact the safety and reliability of the vehicles that they offer to rent.
