i have been shopping at this Vons since the 1970's & they always had great customer service...until recently? I have known many of the past managers and cashiers like Cathy, who recently retired, for their entire Vons careers. I have been buying their bags of Signature Select avocados for years without any problems. About a month and a half ago I got a bag and the avocados never ripened properly. When they FINALLY got soft they turned out to be rotten inside...or half rotten & then the rest not ripe? I got 1 good avocado out of the bag. I wrote it off as an aberration & a loss. However, the same thing happened over the next 3 weeks! Not sure what the problem is? Maybe they are being picked too soon which is causing them not to ripen properly? In all of the years that I have been buying them I never had any problems with them? Anyways, I got 4 good avocados out of 28. So about $5.95 of good avocados out of $24 worth! i emailed corporate because I was not going to bring back these rotten avocados every week in my backpack. Corporate APPEARED to be sympathetic BUT told me that any decision regarding a refund or any sort of make-up would be the store manager's decision and that they had contacted this manager. I NEVER Heard from the store manager. Is this how you treat a loyal customer of well over 45 years? Why couldn't corporate do anything? Do they not posses the ability of decision? I am most decidedly VERY disappointed in both Vons corporate and the current manger of this Vons. NEVER thought that would happen! I guess they no longer consider customer service to be important or worth a small bit of their time? They USED to have GREAT customer service!Don't get me wrong. overall this is a great store, well- managed & with great employees BUT this really irked me! Normally, I would have given them a 5 star review!

I went in to Vons this morning because I needed another pound of steak for my dinner tonight and the meat worker Aaron followed me and accused me of stealing and claimed I was tucking them and when I went to show him where I left the meat in the aisle I was in he then says do you think I'm f****** stupid and I told him to relax and that he was wrong he called me a b**** a** and walks away, as I am checking out he then comes with the manager a short white man that is bald, he says out loud "look he doesn't have any money" as I pay for my items, the manager says absolutely nothing to Aaron and ignores what just occurred in front of him. Absolutely s*** start to a morning. Please take accountability for this.

Tons of problems. Tonight I went in and this arrogant cashier with long braids told me to bag my own groceries. She gave me a mean look when she even saw me coming, which makes me think I should have just gone to another register. She proceeds to cuss me out even after I did what she asked. This is not okay, and she needs to be fired. You lost my business for good. Also, the sketchy security guard stares at you too much for any kind of comforting shopping experience, tons of homeless yelling in the parking lot and looking in cars, no one I've ever encountered working here has been polite or friendly.

Okay good service and all but PLEASE maintain the bathrooms. I'm standing in line rn and one is out of order. This happens every single time plus every time I'm here there's someone else's 1 or 2 all over the place. It's gross. Please

Worst place ever. No body is present to help. Always has an excuse of not doing the service because of some system issue. Therefore, intentionally ignore, pretend, or avoid the cashier area in order to help customer. Supervisor is the worst you can expect

Nicole's always available to be able to put together an incredible combination of flowers, offer excellent customer service, represent Vons and in the best possible light. It's very nice to see people represent the organization they work for, and deliver excellent customer service. I've been a customer for the last five years and she has been very consistent. I'd like to see more of this level of customer service and training across Vons in the regional area, and I'd like to see are people like Nicole get recognized for their service and dedication and lead training endeavors to resonate across the organization

I went to Vons this evening. I typically go to Ralph's but this location was on my way home. I spent a good 40 minutes getting groceries and the aisles were well maintained, produce and things I needed were easy to find.However, as I'm checking out, Angela (my receipt shows) was my cashier. After ringing me up, the credit card reader showed my final total and prompted me for payment. I used my Apple Pay feature to pay and after paying and hearing the "beep" the receipt didn't come out as she was bagging my groceries.After half a minute of watching her bag, I simply asked "do you think it took my payment?"Her response: "I don't know, I'm bagging" (wearing a mask, you can still tell she is not having a good day).I didn't respond at that point, but after she provided my receipt, I said "have a good day"...Her response. Nothing.Sounds like she doesn't like working at Vons.

I really like this Vons. It always has what I'm looking for, the upkeep is fantastic, the employees are very friendly, and, it's always a quick stop! I feel like a lot of people either don't know about this location (which is odd because it's on the intersection of 2 major streets), or they just don't want to go here. The store is always relatively empty whenever I come by which is how I always like to shop for groceries. The lot is big enough, even though it's in a big shopping center, to accommodate plenty of vehicles. I often find a spot right up front. So, while this location isn't the closest one to me, I often stop by for a quick trip. Especially when there's just one or two items I can't find at my other regular stores. I've never had trouble finding it here. It's like my little hidden grocery gem (that's hiding in plain sight).

Convenient place for me to go to since it's near my dentist. It's just that during my last visit, as I was using the self check out, I needed an assistant. The sales associate was rude. She did punch some things on the machine and threw the card on the bagging area. It threw me off!!! Store is fully stocked and organized. I see some merchandisers on the floor restocking shelves. Plenty of cooked and uncooked food to choose from. A good place to go to except for the rude sales associate incident.

I shop at least 3-4 times per week.The cashier Lisa is rude and slow. There is always a long in the early mornings and she clearly does not belong in customer service/cashier. Ana is the best, always professional, friendly and efficient. Relocate Lisa to the storage items area.

The worst service ever! There's never a cashier to help with Western Union transactions. Don't waste your time standing in line.

One of these stores in the valley there is a manager named Lisa who tells the delivery guys to cooperate with her or else she will make things difficult for them. She tells them "You don't want to see me mad, just do what I say, I run this store." So, they are forced to listen to her talk very nasty and put up with her advances, changing into very tight jeans when they come, and even going out with her.

Their meat Department is rediculous.. im still waiting in line to be served. Been here for like half an hour with one person in front of me. They are always in the back. They have no way of knowing you are there. No bell nothing. I'm not sure if he is slaughtering the Cow fresh or What but this is the worse service ever..

If you're Black you should know that this place is racist as f**** I went in with my tote bag that had my laptop in it (I just got off of work and wasn't about to leave my laptop in my car for obvious reasons). When I went to the self checkout, a man who worked there approached me and accused me of putting stuff in my bag beforehand. He searched my bag TWICE! He apologized afterwards and said that it "looked weird" because I came in with a tote. I see people with big bags and backpacks in there all the time, and no one ever says anything to them. Let's get real, this only "looked weird" because they saw a Black person with a bag. Won't ever be back.

The CUSTOMER SERVICE rep or who ever is answering phone calls needs to be retrained or replaced. I dont care for the long wait to get to someone but once they answer they are never professional. Ive got hung up on twice because i didnt respond to their "hello" on time which they didnt even bother to see if anyone was on the other line. & when someone was finally available their "greeting" was a joke..Answered like i was calling their personal line.. "hELLO!?" So unprofessional and to make it better it sounded like she had a problem that we called.. ?? I literally just needed to ask 2 questions before making the drive.
