The price you pay for catering the black pepper chicken which literally tastes like da Hawaiian kitchen but is even still Crispier even after bringing home two hours later. Bomb and super good. Love supporting small businesses like this one!

Ordered the black pepper chicken for my brothers birthday. They did great with catering. I called in around 11am to have the food ready for 5:30pm and the food was ready on the dot. There was no extra waiting which was great. Flavors are great and the skin is so crispy. Would recommend bringing this to any party 10/10.

I'm just surprised this place has four stars. anyone that comes here should have medical insurance just in case you eat the food. it's old and burnt obviously not made even day of. flies all over the food. not good.

I've been coming here since I was a teenager and the since then their famous pepper chicken has always hit the same and has been steadily delicious.! their prices are definitely fair and they haven't been raised too high. I think it's an older couple that own this shop as they are the ones there when I order and when I pick up. Come in during lunch and they have combo and bowl specials.

Idk why it has 4 stars It was one of those places where u still butthurt the next day u wasted money on mid food. No offense it was just barely eatable. I didn't even bother taking my leftovers to go. Everything looked very dry and didnt taste very well 2/10

Stopped here and boy am I glad I did, the food is amazing the bbq chicken and orange chicken is so good. Plus they sell donuts this is a one stop shop. The staff is friendly and very polite. I will most definitely be coming back when I'm in the area. 5 stars all around!!

The black pepper chicken is no joke the best chicken around that area! You can purchase the black pepper chicken in any quantity from $3.50 (small box) to $10 box to big party trays!

88 King is a small mom and pop Chinese food/donut shop located in an older strip mall in Norwalk. Was looking for something to bring to a potluck and came across the rave Yelp reviews for 88 King's Black Pepper Chicken. The reviews were so good, I had to try it. The Black Pepper Chicken is bone-in, cut up pieces of chicken that have been deep fried and then tossed in a garlicky sweet and savory soy-based sauce. NoMG it is good! Crispy and saucy and perfect with rice. The best bits to me are the pieces of chicken skin that have separated from the meat and are like crispy bits of deliciousness drenched in that wonderful sauce. I've purchased this now for 3 dinners and everyone has loved it and asked where it was from. You can buy the BPC as part of a combo meal, or like I did - in an aluminum tray. The nice thing about 88 King is that you can tell them you'd like $20 or $25 etc. worth and they'll adjust the amt of pieces according to how much you want to spend. For $25 ($27.50 with tax) you get a generous amount in the tray. Service is fast and efficient - I always call ahead and my tray is ready and fresh when I arrive. Parking can be packed, but I've never had to wait more than 10 mins for a space to open up. Love the BPC and will be back soon the next time I need a good main dish for a potluck or party.

Today is Monday, September 27th 2021. It was my first and last time here. Before entering, I had looked at the reviews, I was impressed... 5 stars! The food taste and looks about 3 days old, the rice was super crunchy, the egg rolls burned and dull, I was completely disappointed for breaking my diet for this! If you want 4 star Chinese, go to the one down the street next to Del Taco.. on Pioneer Blvd and Artesia Blvd, their food is always fresh and hot. Tasty Goodies down the opposite way sucks too, so don't go there.
