Excellent service! I didn't think there were businesses still around who could solve my audio/stereo problems. I have a 35 ear old Technics turntable that I wanted to get revamped since the turntables they sell these days are cheap ones made in China.
Ken did a masterful job, so I can once again sit at home and listen to the warmth of my vinyl albums. I highly recommend Alpha Electronics for all your electronic repairs. Great service, great price, ad great people.

Amazing!!! Took in my Rega Planar 3 turntable with power issues, fixed the issues and gave it a proper tune up as well! Sounds fantastic. Very nice guys.

There's a rule, cheap, good, fast, pick two. Alpha electronics is incredibly reasonable with their pricing and incredibly meticulous and detailed with their work. However they have a reputation spanning back before I was born and with that comes a lotta clients. Your order will take time, don't come here for next day service. Come here if you don't mind a wait as long as they restore your baby to original state.

I took a reel to reel and a cassette deck to him and both came back with issues still! One reel to reel is a little rare so I understand why reverse recording was never fixed and the cassette deck that is high end couldn't detect what type of tape was inserted so I can make recordings on it and it bothered me so much that I had to take it back and I realized he didn't bother to test them before giving me a call. when I took them home, they still had issues with recording which was the main reason why I took them there in the first place.

Ken!
This man beyond an amazing man who does a job so perfectly that many cannot. I brought this maranta 2220 B to him. Came off a mountain in Northern California with water damage, circuit board covered in dust beyond belief. He shined every screw, every knob. Left it like it was brand new. Given this receiver was free and what Ken did was beyond my belief. I smiled as much as he did because he was so proud to have done such a great job. Thank you Ken there is only one Ken that can knock it out of the park. Extremely recommended

Excellent service. Ken is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the details of the repair my receiver needed. After struggling to find someone willing to work on my vintage Yamaha, I was pleasantly surprised that Ken had no hesitations. My receiver is back up and running, 100% functional, and even sounds better than it ever has before. Outstanding.

Had my car amp examined and was charged to see if it was repairable. The owner told me it was going to be ready soon. I had to call a month and half later because he was too busy to call me just to inform me he couldn't find the part for repair. I bought another amp, its the same brand and model which was working fine. I bought it for parts so he can use it for repair. He said he had to charge me to check that amp. I checked it myself and it worked fine. Got into arguement with him. He just wanted to rip me off again. I payed again so he later tells me its too difficult to repair it. When I picked up both my amps it was three months later. Which I had no music for three months in my car. The owner should have told me he couldn't repair it from the beginning. I would of saved time and money. Zero stars for this place. I definitely don't recommend this place. What he did was a scam.

These guys do AMAZING work. Ken is clearly passionate about keeping this old audio equipment in use, and puts a lot of care into his repair work. I brought in an old Sansui 6060 I had that had a few issues - phono channel cutting out, scratchy volume, bunch of lights out, etc. I had brought it to two other repair people in recent years and neither of them were able to fix it. Ken did a full go-over on the receiver, replacing everything that needed it. It's nicer now than the day I got it 25+ years ago. Expect the repair to take a long time - Ken has a big backlog of work and parts on these can take a while to source. But it's worth it - it's rare enough to find someone who CAN repair this stuff, to find someone who cares this much to do a good job is exceptional. Thanks Ken!

Great place for electronic repair, it's just extremely busy so appointments necessary. He's been maintaining my 1970s vintage sound system since 2021 and it's the only shop I'll go to. The value of the service is quality, he's honest and will tell you if it's worth fixing or not. Highly recommend

Ken is very knowledgeable and passionate about vintage gear. I know that I can come in with a vintage device and be confident that he will figure out the problem and fix it to factory settings. In other words, like almost new. Ken is also fun to talk to about audio, vintage gear etc.
