Don't do business with this credit union!. They have the absolute worst customer service, especially the Norwalk California branch. If you call that branch and are unable to speak to a person, don't bother to leave a message because they will not call you back!. I left a message for the BRANCH MANAGER and he never called me back, when I called the corporate number and they got him on the phone his excuse was that he was on vacation ( so I guess he didn't have to return calls when he got back from his vacation). They are the absolute worst credit union!!

I arrived at the Norwalk location at 10:24. Signed in and sat down. There was only one teller at the window. While sitting there, another teller came in the door and went to the teller window and waited on a customer that was in line. We were asked what services did we want so we showed her the clipboard where we signed in. The teller informed us it would be a 15 minute wait before anyone would be able to help us. This branch used to be very efficient and customer centered. Bring back the days gone by. ?

Customer service is crap. The ATM got stuck and wouldn't give me my withdrawal, I went inside and was told there was nothing they could do about it until Wednesday. It shows on my account that the money was take out but no money was distributed. Literally the guy was arguing with me. So unprofessional. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. Not even to the ATM.

Long-time member, the Loan Advisor worked with us to refinance a vehicle - when nobody else would! The Norwalk Branch has always provided friendly and efficient service. Not sure what the requirements are for membership nowadays, but take a look! Very pleased.

I have been a member of LA Financial Credit Union for 36 years and have always recieved excellent service. I have not had to do many in-person transactions due to ATMs and online banking, so when it was time to purchase my daughter's car, I had to go into the branch to navigate something I have not done in many years. The two tellers were busy with customers, so Robert came up to me and said that he could assist me in his office. I assumed he was another teller due to his humble and helpful manner. I explained that I needed to deposit a large check, and he assisted me in getting e-mail verification and phone authorization so that I did not have to come back. I mentioned that we would be purchasing a car for my daughter, and he immediately let me know that he could assist me with financing approval in just a few minutes. My daughter had also lost her Debit card and needed her account changed since she was now 18 years old. Robert assisted me with reporting her card lost, ensuring it was disabled, and getting everything corrected on her account. I walked out of the bank having done more than I thought I could do in that one visit and thinking my experience was complete. However, the next day, which was a weekend, when the car dealership did not have what they needed to complete our transaction, Robert made himself available to provide me with everything I needed to correct the situation!! We now have a great car for my daughter due to Robert going above and beyond for his customer! I did not find out that Robert was the bank manager until I called to find out who I can provide wonderful feedback to about this employee. Robert treated me and my daughter, who wasn't even there, as if we were his own family! LA Financial staff and managers, like Angela and Becky, have always treated me in this manner from the first time I entered in 1987, and 36 years later, there are still people there like Robert. In spite of Robert's title and heavy workload, he took the time to help me just because I was waiting in line too long. I thank LA Financial for hiring amazing people like Robert, who will continue to go far in his career due to his impeccable customer service and the way he carries out a mission and vision that make a true difference in people's lives. THANK YOU, ROBERT, FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!

I came to this business based on a fraudulent transaction. Daniel and the bank manager Robert stayed passed office hours to resolve my situation. These two went above and beyond to ensure that a fraudulent deposit and withdrawal did not occur. Thank you two for your hard work and dedication. I would absolutely recommend this bank to anyone looking for great customer experience and support.

My time is important, just like everyone else's. If I write my name on "your" list for assistance and politely have a seat, I expect at least one person to offer assistance... without me asking. Otherwise, why put my name on a list? And then before assisting me , help the person who came in 10 minutes after me first? Poor customer service. I

We were treated very poorly here at Norwalk Branch by one rude employee today. The teller was rude to us and we felt discriminated. I accompany my mom to have her check deposited and withdraw some cash which I usually do for the last few years. My mom has a difficulty in hearing and understanding English and can't express herself in English language clearly so I was asked by her to help her which I don't think should be a big issue. The teller was not accomodating and not looking at me when I am translating what my mom is trying to say then she snapped at me and say rudely and sarcastically that she is not talking to me and it is the rule that she has to speak with the person of concern which we understand. But then I explained to her politely that I am trying to help my mom for she can't speak fluently and sometimes cant understand what she is saying, the teller told us that she understands that but there is no need for my help since she is helping her but then my mom can't hear her and understand her so she is whispering to me what is going on in our language. This rude lady did not care to listen to my reason and insist that I dont help my mom and she continue to question her and urging my mom to answer her questions on her own way. We became speechless by her attitude and gesture, I saw my mom panicked and very stressed and this should not happen to anyone. What is wrong helping my mom?? Again I tried to explain to her that I am helping my mom to say what she wants to say but this lady looks very irritated to me. I asked her that does she want me to go outside then? She said no. We felt so disappointed and degraded for how she treat us. We've been a customer for long time here and other staff are all kind and have no problem with me helping my mom. We understand that it is your rule to speak with person of concern but please also consider the fact that sometimes they need help from their loved ones or the one they are comfortable with like in our case and please dont disregard that. I forgot to get her name and she has no name tag. I would not like this to happen to me, my mom or any other helpless customer and hope that corrective measures are taken swiftly. I already reported her though. Hope to get a response from the higher ups.

Edit we got a quick response and someone upper in the bank called and they apologized and tried to make things right.My father passed away and I'm trying to close his accounts with my sisters. Due to their wait times and incorrect information told to me by the bank officer I had to run back and forth from a notary so I've wasted hours and money.
